Diclofenac is an ecotoxic pharmaceutical compound affecting both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems even at low *** this study,batch adsorption experiments were conducted to remove sodium diclofenac(SD)from aqueous solutions using rice hull biochar(RHB)*** SD removals were obtained with increasing initial SD concentration,RHB dosage,contact time,and decreasing initial *** studies revealed that Langmuir isotherm best fitted the experimental data with the highest coefficient of determination for both pH 2(R2=0.9827)and pH 7(R2=0.9460).For kinetic studies,the pseudo second-order model gave R2=0.9999 for both pH 2 and pH *** removals reached up to 97%at pH 2 and up to 80%at pH *** SD removals were achieved at solution pH lower than the adsorbent pHpzc since electrostatic repulsion was ***-transform infrared analysis showed the major involvement of C=O in the adsorption *** study demonstrated the potential of using agricultural residues such as rice hulls for the treatment of wastewater contaminated with pharmaceutical compounds.

在这篇论文中,笔者将尝试阐述影响经济增长的因素及自然资源出口量以何种方式影响经济增长;同时也将对其它资源过剩国家的经济进行分析。为了避免评价中的主观性,国外研究将特别被分析。论文中引用的数据均来源于官方自主发布的2005-2014数据。文献评论,笔者将提出经济增长的理论基础和对此问题的研究成果,分析自然资源出口范围与经济增长间的相互依存关系理论,以及油价形成因素。笔者将分析俄罗斯经济的竞争力,探讨其增长对资源出口的依存度。将反思其它自然资源过剩国家在克服经济对自然资源出口依赖性时的经验;此外,还对俄罗斯克服此种依赖提出一些建议。此篇论文的现实性在于,在制裁和油气价波动的情况下,俄罗斯经济需要摆脱对价格的依赖。到目前为止,尤其在俄罗斯联邦,还没有多少针对探寻经济和体制发展指标与资源量指标依存关系的研究。针对依存关系的研究可以帮助我们分析俄罗斯经济过度依赖石油价格的问题,并确定打破这种依赖的新战略。此项研究的目的是分析俄罗斯联邦经济增长对价格变动的依赖性,寻求能够作为现代国家政策、可能存在的减少这种依赖性的解决方案。此项研究的目标在于确定出口资源价格变化对俄罗斯经济的影响。此项研究的对象是俄罗斯经济。此项研究的主题是价格变动及其对俄罗斯经济的影响。在这项研究中,笔者指出当今俄罗斯作为一个国家,其经济增长过度依赖于自然资源出口。笔者认为,解决依赖性问题的最佳方法是:首先,改变税收立法。其次,将从自然资源出口获得的资金投入到技术和创新发展中去。另外,改变油田所有权也是可行的。

AIM To determine the impact ofm low volume high-intensity interval training(LVHIIT) and continuous low to moderate-intensity exercise training(CLMIT) on cardiovascular disease(CVD) risk and health outcomes in cancer *** Sedentary cancer survivors(n=75,aged 51±12year)within 24 months of diagnosis,were randomised into three groups for 12 wk of LVHIIT(n=25),CLMIT(n=25)or control group(n=25).The exercise intervention involved 36 sessions(three sessions per week).The LVHIIT group performed 7 x 30 s intervals(≥85%predicted maximal heart rate)with a 60 s rest between intervals,and the CLMIT group performed continuous aerobic training for 20 min(≤55%predicted maximal heart rate)on a stationary *** variables were measured at baseline and at12 weeks and analysed using a 3 x 2(group x time)repeated measures ANCOVA to evaluate main and interaction *** Significant improvements(time)were observed for seven of the 22 variables(ES 0.35-0.97,P≤0.05).There was an interaction effect(P<0.01)after 12 in the LVHIIT group for six-minute walk test(P<0.01;d=0.97;95%CI:0.36,1.56;large),sit to stand test(P<0.01;d=-0.83;95%CI:-1.40,-0.22;large)and waist circumference reduction(P=0.01;d=-0.48;95%CI:-1.10,0.10;medium).An interaction effect(P<0.01)was also observed for quality of life in both the LVHIIT(d=1.11;95CI:0.50,1.72;large)and CLMIT(d=0.57;95%CI:-0.00,1.20;moderate)compared with the control group(d=-0.15;95%CI:-0.95,0.65;trivial).CONCLUSION Low-volume high-intensity training shows promise as an effective exercise prescription within the cancer population,showing greater improvements in cardiorespiratory fitness,lower body strength and waist circumference compared with traditional CLMIT and control *** LVHIIT and CLMIT improved quality of life.A proposed benefit of LVHIIT is the short duration(3 min)of exercise required,which may entice more cancer survivors to participate in exercise,improving health outcomes and lowing the risk of CVD.

With the spread of COVID-19 across the globe, almost 33 million people became sick and almost 1 million have died (WHO). The government of the Philippines, along with the government of other countries declared movement restrictions or lockdown in the attempt to contain the virus. This resulted in loss of job and economic breakdown. The Philippines, in particular, experienced the longest and strictest lockdown. As a down side, a lot of people have lost their jobs and the country is currently facing economic recession. With the aim of containing the virus to reopen the economy, a team of experts developed a mobile application called EPIDEM. The application is available for both Android and Apple smartphones. With the use of EPIDEM, lay people can monitor their infection risk for COVID-19 and isolate themselves or get themselves tested when infection risk is high. Users can also monitor the health risk of other people that they come in contact with, so they can decide if meeting them is safe or risky. Further, the application provides a monitoring map that shows the area that is safe from COVID-19 and area where a possible outbreak might occur. The monitoring map will be helpful to both lay people, so they would know the places to avoid and to government officials, so they can quickly respond to outbreak. The teams of developers are recommending the nationwide implementation of EPIDEM to help contain the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The application is not a new strategy of containment. Instead, it’s a better wheel that utilizes advanced technology to execute the manual containment strategies that are already being implemented in the country.

BACKGROUND Infection with Histoplasma capsulatum(***)can lead to disseminated disease involving the gastrointestinal tract presenting as diffuse abdominal pain and diarrhea which may mimic inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).CASE SUMMARY We report a case of 12-year-old boy with presumptive diagnosis of Crohn disease(CD)that presented with several months of abdominal pain,weight loss and bloody *** showed patchy moderate inflammation characterized by erythema and numerous pseudopolyps involving the terminal ileum,cecum,and ascending *** sections from the colon biopsy revealed diffuse cellular infiltrate within the lamina propria with scattered histiocytic aggregates,and occasional non-necrotizing ***-Gomori’s Methenamine Silver staining confirmed the presence of numerous yeast forms suggestive of Histoplasma spp.,further confirmed with positive urine Histoplasma antigen(6.58 ng/mL,range 0.2-20 ng/mL)and serum immunoglobulin G antibodies to Histoplasma(35.9 EU,range 10.0-80.0 EU).Intravenous amphotericin was administered then transitioned to oral ***-up computed tomography imaging showed a left lower lung nodule and mesenteric lymphadenopathy consistent with disseminated histoplasmosis *** Gastrointestinal involvement with *** with no accompanying respiratory symptoms is exceedingly rare and recognition is often delayed due to the overlapping clinical manifestations of *** case illustrates the importance of excluding infectious etiologies in patients with“biopsy-proven”CD prior to initiating immunosuppressive *** between clinicians and pathologists is crucial as blood cultures and antigen testing are key studies that should be performed in all suspected cases of histoplasmosis to avoid misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment.

Disparities in Pain Management in the Emergency Department: An Integrative Review

Purpose: The purpose of this integrative review is to investigate the degree of variability in the prescribing approaches to acute pain management in the emergency department (ED) setting. Variations in analgesic prescribing among ethnic and racial minorities as they compare to non-minority patients with similar complaints of pain will be examined. Data Sources: A comprehensive review of the literature was conducted using MEDLINE, PubMed, and CINAHL databases. Inclusion criteria of the studies were: US studies;published between 2002 and 2012;English language;with at least one aim or analysis comparing prescription of analgesia between a racial or ethnic minority and non-minority group in the ED. Key words used to obtain relevant articles included pain management;analgesia prescription;minority;race;ethnicity;emergency department;disparities. Conclusion: A research summary concluded that racial and ethnic disparities in pain management continue to exist in the ED setting. When compared to Caucasian patients, African American and non-white ethnicities were less likely to receive analgesia. Language barriers, experience of providers, and trust were among the contributors to pain management disparities. Implications for Practice: The role of the nurse is to incorporate cultural competence in assessing and achieving equitable pain management across all racial/ethnic groups.
