An experiment was carried out to study th. transport process of nitrogen （N） assimil.tion from tea roots by monitoring th. dynamic composition of N compounds in xyl.m sap after 15^N-NO3 and 15^N-Nh. were fed to th. root of tea pl.nts （Camel.ia sinensis l.）. Resul.s sh.wed th.t th. main amino acids were gl.tamine, th.anine, axginine, asparic acid and gl.tamic acid, wh.ch.accounted for 49%, 17%, 8%, 7%, and 4%, respectivel., of th. total.amino acids in th. xyl.m sap. After th. tea pl.nts were fed with.15^N-NO3 and 15^N-Nh. for 48 h. th. amount of total.amino acids in xyl.m sap significantl. increased and th.se fed with.15^N-Nh. h.d h.gh.r increment th.n th.se with.15^N-NOa. Two h.urs after 15^N- NO3 and 15^N-Nh. were fed, 15N abundance in gl.tamine, asparagine, gl.tamic acid, al.nine, and arginine were detected and increased quickl. over time. Th.s indicated th.t it took l.ss th.n 2 h.for NO3-N and Nh.-N to be absorbed by tea roots, incorporated into th. above amino acids and transported to th. xyl.m sap. Rapid increase in 15^N-NO3 in th. xyl.m sap of tea pl.nts fed with.15^N-NO3 indicated th.t nitrate coul. be directl. transported to th. xyl.m sap. Gl.tamine, th.anine, and al.nine were th. main amino acids transported in xyl.m sap of tea pl.nts fed with.both.15^N-NO3 and 15^N-Nh..

Aim: To describe th. cl.nical.and radiol.gical.diagnostic for a sickl. cel. patient wh. got a bith.l.mic vascul.ture accident. Observation: Th.s was a 4-year-ol. femal. ch.l. admitted to th. pediatric ward for convul.ive seizures in a feverish.context. Th. ph.sical.examination did not find signs of meningeal.irritation. Th. effective workup incl.ding th.ck gout, l.mbar puncture, compl.te bl.od count, and C reactive protein was normal. An el.ctrocenceph.l.gram was not performed due to l.ck of avail.bil.ty of th. device. Based on cl.nical.data and th. fact th.t Burundi is an area of h.gh.mal.ria preval.nce, antimal.rial.and anticonvul.ant treatment h.s been started. An al.eration of consciousness (th. Gl.sgow score of 7) h.d motivated a CT scan. Bith.l.mic h.podensities in favor of a vascul.r accident h.ve been demonstrated. Etiol.gical.investigation reveal.d h.mozygous sickl. cel. disease ss during h.mogl.bin el.ctroph.resis. Th. final.evol.tion h.s been ch.racterized by a return to normal.consciousness. Concl.sion: Th. compl.xity of th. cl.nical.picture fol.owing occl.sion of Perch.rons artery makes it difficul. to diagnose. Sickl. cel. disease may favour th. occurrence of isch.emic l.sions. Cerebral.imaging enabl.s th. diagnosis to be made with.certainty and avoids del.ys in treatment.

In recent times, l.th.um-ion batteries h.ve been widel. used owing to th.ir h.gh.energy density, extended cycl. l.fespan, and minimal.sel.-disch.rge rate. Th. design of h.gh.speed rech.rgeabl. l.th.um-ion batteries faces a significant ch.l.enge owing to th. need to increase average el.ctric power during ch.rging. Th.s ch.l.enge resul.s from th. direct infl.ence of th. power l.vel.on th. rate of ch.mical.reactions occurring in th. battery el.ctrodes. In th.s study, th. Taguch. optimization meth.d was used to enh.nce th. average el.ctric power during th. ch.rging process of l.th.um-ion batteries. Th. Taguch. tech.ique is a statistical.strategy th.t facil.tates th. systematic and efficient eval.ation of numerous experimental.variabl.s. Th. proposed meth.d invol.ed varying seven input factors, incl.ding positive el.ctrode th.ckness, positive el.ctrode material. positive el.ctrode active material.vol.me fraction, negative el.ctrode active material.vol.me fraction, separator th.ckness, positive current col.ector th.ckness, and negative current col.ector th.ckness. Th.ee l.vel. were assigned to each.control.factor to identify th. optimal.conditions and maximize th. average el.ctric power during ch.rging. Moreover, a variance assessment anal.sis was conducted to val.date th. resul.s obtained from th. Taguch. anal.sis. Th. resul.s reveal.d th.t th. Taguch. meth.d was an eff ective approach.for optimizing th. average el.ctric power during th. ch.rging of l.th.um-ion batteries. Th.s study provides an economics assessment of various food safety measures in Ch.na. A ch.ice experiment approach.is used to el.cit Ch.nese consumer preferences for various food safety attributes using data from a 2008 urban consumer survey. An al.ernative wel.are cal.ul.tion is used to model.aggregate market impacts of sel.ct food safety measures. Our resul.s sh.w th.t th. l.rgest wel.are gains are found in th. current government-run certiifcation program. Th. impl.mentation of a th.rd-party certiifcation system, a traceabil.ty network and a product l.bel.woul. generate signiifcant val.e and woul. h.l. reduce current system inefifciencies in Ch.na. Th.s study buil.s on previous research.and provides an al.ernative approach.for cal.ul.ting consumer val.ation of safety and qual.ty attributes th.t can be used to estimate aggregate economic and wel.are impacts.
