The development of new two-dimensional(2D)d-πconjugated metal-organic frameworks(mOFs)holds great promise for the construction of a new generation of porous and semiconductive *** paper describes the synthesis,structural characterization,and electronic properties of a new d-πconjugated 2D mOF based on the use of a new ligand 2,3,8,9,14,*** reticular self-assembly of this largeπ-conjugated organic building block with Cu(II)ions in a mixed solvent system of 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone(DmI)and H2 O with the addition of ammonia water or ethylenediamine leads to a highly crystalline mOF Cu3(HHTN)2,which possesses pore aperture of 2.5 ***3(HHTN)2 mOF shows moderate electrical conductivity of 9.01×10^(-8)S·cm^(-1)at 385 K and temperature-dependent band gap ranging from 0.75 to 1.65 *** chemical oxidation by l2,the conductivity of Cu3(HHTN)2 can be increased by 360 *** access to HHTN based mOF adds an important member to previously reported mOF systems with hexagonal lattice,paving the way towards systematic studies of structure-property relationships of semiconductive mOFs.

Objective:To explore the efficacy of intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy(IPTp)with sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine(SP)against sensitive ***:A pharmacological model was used to investigate the effectiveness of the previous recommended at least two-dose regimen,currently recommended three-dose regimen and 4,6,8-weekly regimens with specific focus on the impact of various nonadherence patterns in multiple transmission ***:The effectiveness of the recommended three-dose regimen is high in all the transmission intensities,i.e.>99%,98%and 92%in low,moderate and high transmission intensities *** simulated 4 and 6 weekly IPTp-SP regimens were able to prevent new infections with sensitive parasites in almost all women(>99%)regardless of transmission ***,8 weekly interval dose schedules were found to have 71%and 86%protective efficacies in high and moderate transmission areas,*** highlights that patients are particularly vulnerable to acquiring new infections if IPTp-SP doses are ***:The pharmacological model predicts that full adherence to the currently recommended three-dose regimen should provide almost complete protection from malaria infection in moderate and high transmission ***,it also highlights that patients are particularly vulnerable to acquiring new infections if IPTp doses are spaced too widely or if doses are *** to the recommended IPTp-SP schedules is recommended.

Band structures for electrons,phonons,and other quasiparticles are often an important aspect of describing the physical properties of periodic *** commonly,energy bands are computed along a one-dimensional path of high-symmetry points and line segments in reciprocal space(the“k-path”),which are assumed to pass through important features of the dispersion ***,existing methods for choosing this path rely on tabulated lists of high-symmetry points and line segments in the first Brillouin zone,determined using different symmetry criteria and unit cell *** we present a new“on-the-fly”symmetry-based approach to obtaining paths in reciprocal space that attempts to address the previous limitations of these *** a unit cell of a magnetic or nonmagnetic periodic solid,the site symmetry groups of points and line segments in the irreducible Brillouin zone are obtained from the total space *** elements in these groups are used alongside general and maximally inclusive high-symmetry criteria to choose segments for the final k-path.A smooth path connecting each segment is obtained using graph *** new framework not only allows for increased flexibility and user convenience but also identifies notable overlooked features in certain electronic band *** addition,a more intelligent and efficient method for analyzing magnetic materials is also enabled through proper accommodation of magnetic symmetry.

Background： A novel extruded product was characterized with a metabolism and lactation trial to establish the product＇s energy content, and its effects on lactating sow performance. The product was composed of a 60：40 corn-soybean blend, which was then extruded. This product containing the co-extruded 60：40 corn-soybean blend was commercially developed and is used extensively in swine diets in southwest minnesota. GE of dietary treatments were determined by isoperibol bomb calorimetry. Twelve barrows （59.9 ± 1.4 kg）, were used to determine the digestible and metabolizable energy of the extruded product. DE of treatments was determined by subtracting fecal energy from GE provided to barrows by each respective treatment. mE was determined by subtracting urinary energy from calculated digestible energy. Sixty-three sows were used for the lactation trial. Three dietary treatments were utilized： CONTROL （an industry standard diet）; PRODUCT （contained the product, vitamins and minerals）; OIL （matched the lysine：mE ratio of PRODUCT by addition of soy oil）. Sow weight, backfat thickness at the right and left last ribs, body condition score, number of piglets, and litter weights were recorded on the date of farrowing （d 0）, （d 9）, and at weaning. Blood and milk samples were obtained at weaning, and blood was analyzed for plasma urea nitrogen （PUN）, milk was analyzed for total protein and fat content. Results： On a dry-matter basis, the test diet provided 3,908 kcal/kg DE and 3,833 kcal/kg mE, which was significantly greater than the basal diet, which provided 3,633 kcal/kg DE and 3,567 kcal/kg mE （P 〈 0.0001）. These data were used to establish the DE and mE of the product, which were 3,882 kcal/kg and 3,798 kcal/kg, respectively, on an as-fed basis. Liver injury is an increasingly recognized extra-pulmonary manifestation of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)*** disease 2019(COVID-19)associated liver injury(COVALI)is a clinical syndrome encompassing all patients with biochemical liver injury identified in the setting of SARS-CoV-2 *** profound clinical implications,its pathophysiology is poorly ***,most information on COVALI is derived from the general population and may not be applicable to individuals under-represented in research,including pregnant *** manuscript reviews:Clinical features of COVALI,leading theories of COVALI,and existing literature on COVALI during pregnancy,a topic not widely explored in the ***,we synthesized data from the general and perinatal populations that demonstrates COVALI to be a hepatocellular transaminitis that is likely induced by systemic inflammation and that is strongly associated with disease severity and poorer clinical outcome,and offered perspective on approaching transaminitis in the potentially COVID-19 positive patient in the obstetric setting.

Fire-based emergency management service(EmS)personnel are dispatched to various incidents daily,many of which have unique occupational *** fully understand the variability of incident types and how to best pre-pare and respond,an exploration of the *** system of incident types is *** study uses potential exposure to SARS-CoV-2 as a case example to understand if and how coding categories for incident call types may be updated to improve data standardization and emergency response decision *** received emergency response incident data generated by three fire department computer-aided dispatch(CAD)systems between march and September *** incident was labeled EmS,Fire,or *** the 162,766 incidents,approximately 8.1%(n=13,144)noted potential SARS-CoV-2 exposure within their narrative descriptions of which 86.3%were coded as EmS,9.9%as Fire,and 3.9%as *** assess coding variability across incident types,researchers used the original 3-incident type variable and a new 5-incident type variable reassigned by researchers into EmS,Fire,Other,Hazmat,and motor *** regressions compared differences in potential exposure using the 3-and 5-incident type *** evaluating the 3-incident type variable,those respond-ing to a Fire versus an EmS incident were 84%less likely to be associated with potential exposure to *** the 5-incident type variable,those responding to Fire incidents were 77%less likely to be associated with a potential exposure than those responding to EmS *** in potential exposure between the 3-and 5-incident type models show the need to understand how incident types are *** demonstrates the need for data standardization to accurately categorize incident types to improve emergency preparedness and *** have implications for incident type coding at fire department municipality and national levels.
