g4P3L3 was at 40 weeks of gestation who was admitted in active stage of labor with normal fetal heart rate. At 8 cm cervical dilatation she experienced spontaneous rupture of membrane with clear liquor. Cord prolapse was detected and was prepared for caesarian section meanwhile she was kept in knee chest position and bladder was filled with normal saline 0.9%. 30 min before operation she was fully dilated with signs of Non reassuring fetal status, vacuum extraction was done to assist delivery as soon as possible. The APgAR score was 6 and 10 in the first and fifth minutes respectively. Mother and the baby were discharged the next day in good condition.

To avoid unnecessary energy expenditures in territorial defense,many species(e.g.,insects,amphibians,birds,and mammals)have developed the capability to distinguish between different intruder types using visual,acoustic,and/or chemical *** the mechanism used for intruder recognition is key to understanding the dynamics of territorial *** birds that use vocalizations for territorial defense,the frequency and duration of vocalizations or the familiarity with the intruder may be the main mechanism used for intruder ***,we conducted a playback experiment with territorial White-eared ground-sparrows(Melozone leucotis),to analyze if territorial pairs recognize intruders using frequency and duration characteristics(a bird’s response is based on how structurally similar the intruders’duets are to their own)or by familiarity with the intruders(neighbors ***-neighbors).We focused on duets because this species uses duets exclusively for territorial *** broadcasted a duet from a territorial neighbor,two duets from non-neighbors(with different frequency and duration characteristics),and a duet from a control species in 39 territorial pair from three *** playback we measured five behavioral responses:latency of the first vocalization,latency of the approach to the speaker,time spent close the speaker(within 5 m),number of individuals that approached the speaker,and the number of *** found that territorial White-eared ground-sparrow pairs responded stronger to neighbors than non-neighbors,and this response is not influenced by duet duration or frequency *** result suggests that neighbors represent a greater territorial threat for White-eared ground-sparrows than *** work is necessary to understand how common this observation is for tropical species that defend small territories year-round.

Defense-related terpenoid biosynthesis in conifers is a dynamic process closely associated with specialized anatomical structures that allows conifers to cope with attack from many potential pests and pathogens. The constitutive and inducible terpenoid defense of conifers involves several hundred different monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes and diterpenes. Changing arrays of these many compounds are formed from the general isoprenoid pathway by activities of large gene families for two classes of enzymes, the terpene synthases and the cytochrome P450-dependent monooxygenases of the CYP720B group. Extensive studies have been conducted on the genomics, proteomics and molecular biochemical characterization of these enzymes. Many of the conifer terpene synthases are multi-product enzymes, and the P450 enzymes of the CYP720B group are promiscuous in catalyzing multiple oxidations, along homologous series of diterpenoids, from a broad spectrum of substrates. The terpene synthases and CYP720B genes respond to authentic or simulated insect attack with increased transcript levels, protein abundance and enzyme activity. The constitutive and induced oleoresin terpenoids for conifer defense accumulate in preformed cortical resin ducts and in xylem trauma-associated resin ducts. Formation of these resin ducts de novo in the cambium zone and developing xylem, following insect attack or treatment of trees with methyl jasmonate, is a unique feature of the induced defense of long-lived conifer trees.

Recent work has shown that the vaginal microbiome exerts a strong impact on women's gynecological ***,collection of vaginal specimens is invasive and requires previous clinical training or the involvement of a trained *** contrast,urine sample collection is routine and noninvasive and does not require involvement of a *** sought to compare the vaginal and urogenital microbiomes to assess the utility of voided urine samples as a proxy for the vaginal *** urogenital and vaginal samples were collected from pregnant women and characterized by 16S rRNA taxonomic *** examined diversities and compositions of paired urogenital and vaginal microbiomes using five discrete strategies to explore the similarity between the vaginal and urogenital microbiomes.A strategy comparing the paired urogenital and vaginal microbiomes in which taxa were assigned using the STIRRUPS database and urine-specific taxa were removed showed no significant difference in diversity and composition between the paired urogenital and vaginal ***,the relative abundances of common vaginal taxa were linearly correlated with those in the paired *** similarities suggest that voided urine samples could represent a noninvasive protocol for accurate profiling of the vaginalmicrobiome with likely clinical ***,a machine learning model was established in which the voided urine microbiome was compared favorably to the vaginal microbiome in predicting bacterial vaginosis.
