Due.to th. h.gh.spatial and te.poral variability of N2O-N fluxe., me.h.nistic mode.s are.pre.e.able.in te.ms of e.trapolation to large. scale.. In th.s study, we.e.aluate. simulate. N2O-N fluxe. from soils unde. agricultural use.in th. Brazilian state. Mato Grosso, using th. CANDY(Carbon and Nitroge. Dynamics) mode.. A control tool was de.e.ope. in orde. to e.able.th. simulation of 1 650 sce.arios cove.ing diffe.e.t site.(soil + climate. and manage.e.t re.ime.(crop rotation +amount of applie. fe.tilize. + sowing and h.rve.ting date.). For sounde. budge.ing on th. fe.e.al and national scale. th.re.is still a strong ne.d for long-te.m obse.vations of continuous crop rotations and spatial distribution of soil type. and th.ir spe.ific ch.racte.istics. In th.s pape., an approach.base. on our pre.ious works is propose. for pre.icting th. void fraction inde.e.de.t of flow re.ime.and liquid ph.se.de.sity ch.nge. in gas–liquid two-ph.se.flows. Imple.e.te. te.h.ique.is a combination of dual modality de.sitome.ry and multi-be.m gamma-ray atte.uation te.h.ique.. Th. de.e.tion syste. is comprise. of a single.e.e.gy fan be.m,two transmission de.e.tors, and one.scatte.ing de.e.tor. In th.s work, artificial ne.ral ne.work(ANN) was also imple.e.te. to pre.ict th. void fraction pe.ce.tage.inde.e.de.t of th. flow re.ime.and liquid ph.se.de.sity ch.nge.. Re.iste.e. counts in th.e. de.e.tors and void fraction pe.ce.tage.we.e.utilize. as th. inputs and output of ANN, re.pe.tive.y. By applying th. propose. me.h.dology, th. void fraction was e.timate. with.a me.n re.ative.e.ror of le.s th.n just 1.2480%.
