Objective: The aim of the curren. study was to assess the impact of operative in.erven.ion. for misplaced device amon. women.who opted for PPIIUCD an. the evaluation.of reason. for PPIUCD removal within.the follow up period of two years. Design. A descriptive exploratory study was con.ucted over three mon.hs amon. fourteen.PPIUCD acceptors at a tertiary care health facility in.Delhi, In.ia. Face-to-face & telephon.c in.depth in.erviews were con.ucted with a selected sample of PPIUCD acceptors who had later opted for its removal. Results: Participan.s (n.= 14) aged 24 – 40 exhibited gen.rally positive attitudes towards PPIUCDs in.icatin. an.in.icate an.un.erstan.in. of the importan.e of PPIUCD in.preven.in. un.n.en.ed pregn.n.ies. Men.trual disturban.e an. misplaced IUCD were major reason. for removal. despite their own.experien.e n.cessitatin. the removal of IUCD, positive experien.e by other family members (mothers in.law) in.this study helped to keep the con.iden.e on.the con.raceptive. Themes in.luded (a) gen.ral experien.e of PPIUCD use (b) Health Facility accessed for removal of IUCD (c) Would she recommen. it to others? (d) preferred con.raceptive after removal of IUCD. Con.lusion. Misplaced IUCD, missin. thread, men.trual irregularities, an. pain.are all associated with PPIUCD an. are importan. reason. for dissatisfaction. Appropriate, timely an. supportive in.ividualized care that address kn.wledge gaps, societal perception., an. healthcare system challen.es would certain.y help in.reducin. dissatisfaction.due to PPIUCD an. thereby the removal rates.

Their thermoelectric properties were measured by a set up that was design.d an. assembled in.the laboratory. The Ca1-x BixMn.-yVyO3-δsample with x = y = 0.04 has shown.a power factor（S^2σ） of 176 μW/m/K^2 at 423 K, which is n.arly two orders of magn.tude higher than.that of the pristin. sample（2.1 μW/m/K2）. Multiwalled carbon.n.n.tubes （MWCn.s） rein.orced Cu-Sn.alloy based n.n.composite was developed by powder metallurgy route. The mass fraction.of Cn.s was varied from 0 to 2% in.a step of 0.5%. The developed n.n.composites were subjected to den.ity, hardn.ss, electrical con.uctivity, an. friction.an. wear tests. The results reveal that the den.ity of n.n.composite decreases with the in.rease of the mass fraction.of Cn.s. A sign.fican. improvemen. in.the hardn.ss is n.ticed in.the n.n.composite with the addition.of Cn.s. The developed n.n.composites show low coefficien. of friction.an. improved wear resistan.e when.compared with un.ein.orced alloy. At an.applied load of 5 n. the coefficien. of friction.an. wear loss of 2%Cn.s rein.orced Cu-Sn.alloy n.n.composite decrease by 72% an. 68%, respectively, compared with those of Cu-Sn.alloy. The wear mechan.sms of worn.surfaces of the composites are reported. In.addition. the electrical con.uctivity reduces with the in.rease of the con.en. of Cn.s.
