From the approval of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to the 2023 Nobel Prize awarded for nucleoside base modifications,RNA therapeutics have entered the spotlight and are transforming drug *** the term“RNA therapeutics”has been used in various contexts,this review focuses on treatments that utilize RNA as a component or target RNA for therapeutic *** summarize the latest advances in RNA-targeting tools and RNA-based technologies,including but not limited to mRNA,antisense oligos,siRNAs,small molecules and RNA *** focus on the mechanisms of current FDA-approved therapeutics but also provide a discussion on the upcoming *** clinical utility of RNA-based therapeutics is enabled not only by the advances in RNA technologies but in conj.nction with the significant improvements in chemical modifications and delivery platforms,which are also briefly discussed in the *** summarize the latest RNA therapeutics based on their mechanisms and therapeutic effects,which include expressing proteins for vaccination and protein replacement therapies,degrading deleterious RNA,modulating transcription and translation efficiency,targeting noncoding RNAs,binding and modulating protein activity and editing RNA sequences and *** review emphasizes the concept of an RNA therapeutic toolbox,pinpointing the readers to all the tools available for their desired research and clinical *** the field advances,the catalog of RNA therapeutic tools continues to grow,further allowing researchers to combine appropriate RNA technologies with suitable chemical modifications and delivery platforms to develop therapeutics tailored to their specific clinical challenges.

Tin(Sn)-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have received increasing attention in the domain of photovoltaics due to their environmentally friendly *** this paper,numerical modeling and simulation of hole transport material(HTM)-free PSC based on methyl ammonium tin triiodide(CH_(3) NH_(3) SnI_(3))was performed using a one-dimensional solar cell capacitance simulator(SCAPS-1D)*** eff ect of perovskite thickness,interface defect density,temperature,and electron transport material(ETM)on the photovoltaic performance of the device was *** to optimization,the device demonstrated a power conversion effi ciency(PCE)of 8.35%,fi ll factor(FF)of 51.93%,short-circuit current density(j.(sc))of 26.36 mA/cm 2,and open circuit voltage(V_(oc))of 0.610 *** the above parameters individually while keeping others constant,the obtained optimal absorber thickness was 1.0μm,the interface defect density was 1010 cm-2,the temperature was 290 K,and the TiO 2 thickness was 0.01μ*** simulating with the optimized data,the fi nal device gave a PCE of 11.03%,FF of 50.78%,j.(sc) of 29.93 mA/cm 2,and V_(oc) of 0.726 *** the optimized and unoptimized metric parameters,an improvement of~32.10%in PCE,~13.41%in j.(sc),and~19.02%in V_(oc) were ***,the results of this study are encouraging and can pave the path for developing highly effi cient PSCs that are cost-eff ective,eco-friendly,and comparable to state-of-the-art.

This work investigated the pore structure characteristics and reservoir features of the finegrained tight reservoirs in the lower member of the Xinhe Formation(j.x1) in the Xiaohu subsag,Yabulai Basin based on core samples through various techniques. Interbedded silt/fine sandstones and mudstones are developed in the study area. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images were used to delineate different types of pores, including primary intergranular pores, secondary intergranular and intragranular pores, organic pores and fractures. The pore types were distinguished by pore size, pore area, location and formation process. The pore radii of the fine-grained rocks range from 1 nm to 1.55μm, mainly concentrated between 5 and 300 nm by low pressure N2adsorption and MICP analyses. The pore structure parameters of pore throat size and pore throat sorting coefficient are both positively correlated with porosity, while pore throat sorting coefficient has a negative correlation with permeability. The pore structures of the studied samples are much related to the mineral type and content and grain size, followed by TOC content. In these rocks with relatively low TOC and low maturity, the rigid minerals protect pores with pressure shadow from collapse, and dissolution-related pores contribute a lot to inorganic porosity. In contrast, these rocks with abundant TOC contain a large number of organic pores. The permeability of the fine-grained tight reservoir is mainly dominated by larger pore throats, while a large number of small pores(mostly <0.1 μm) contribute considerably to porosity. These results have deepened our understanding of the interbedded fine-grained tight reservoirs and can be applicable to fine-grained reservoirs in a similar setting.

In this paper, a microring resonator(MRR) system using double-series ring resonators is proposed to generate and investigate the Rabi oscillations. The system is made up of silicon-on-insulator and attached to bus waveguide which is used as propagation and oscillation medium. The scattering matrix method is employed to determine the output signal intensity which acts as the input source between two-level Rabi oscillation states, where the increase of Rabi oscillation frequency with time is obtained at the resonant state. The population probability of the excited state is higher and unstable at the optical resonant state due to the nonlinear spontaneous emission process. The enhanced spontaneous emission can be managed by the atom(photon) excitation, which can be useful for atomic related sensors and single-photon source applications.

In the design and planning of next-generation Internet of Things(IoT),telecommunication,and satellite communication systems,controller placement is crucial in software-defined networking(SDN).The programmability of the SDN controller is sophisticated for the centralized control system of the entire ***,it creates a significant loophole for the manifestation of a distributed denial of service(DDoS)attack ***,recently a Distributed Reflected Denial of Service(DRDoS)attack,an unusual DDoS attack,has been ***,minimal deliberation has given to this forthcoming single point of SDN infrastructure failure ***,recently the high frequencies of DDoS attacks have increased *** this paper,a smart algorithm for planning SDN smart backup controllers under DDoS attack scenarios has *** proposed smart algorithm can recommend single or multiple smart backup controllers in the event of DDoS *** obtained simulated results demonstrate that the validation of the proposed algorithm and the performance analysis achieved 99.99%accuracy in placing the smart backup controller under DDoS attacks within 0.125 to 46508.7 s in SDN.

The role of gut microbiota in terms of host health is becoming increasingly *** this study,the comparative effects of tea polyphenols(TPs)on weight loss and lipid metabolism on conventionalized mice(CVZ)and pseudo germ-free(PGF)mice(treated with antibiotics)were *** findings revealed that high fat(HF)diet considerably increased the body weight,total fat and upsurge lipid indices in CVZ mice but PGF mice were not sensitive to the effect of HF diet as CVZ *** the dietary administration of TP,body weight,perirenal fat and epididymal fat,liver weight,glucose(GLU)level,total chloestrol(TC level),high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C)level significantly lowered in PGF mice as compared to CVZ mice ***,the area of fat cells and triglyceride(TG)level were significantly increased in PGF *** CVZ mice,TP intervention resulted in a considerable drop in the Firmicutes/Bacteroides ratio as compared to PGF *** intestinal flora of PGF mice was severely reduced after antibiotic treatment,while TP administration restored intestinal diversity;the abundance of Akkermansia and Lactobacillus increased,whereas the abundance of Enterobacteriaceae and Prevotella ***,we can assume that PGF obese mice administered with TP have less anti-obesity effects compared to obese CVZ mice.
