The mechanical behavior of 2124 Al alloy produced by powder metallurgy was investigated with compression test at different temperatures and strain rates. The tests were performed in the temperature range of 300℃～500℃ and at strain rates from 0.001 s^-1 to 1.0 s^-1. The compression flow curves exhibited an initial sharp increase with strain, followed by monotonous hardening. The maximum stress decreased with decreasing strain rate and increasing temperature. The hot deformation characteristics of the material were studied using processing maps. The domain of safety and unsafe regime were identified and validated through microstructural examination.

Glaucoma is a chronic and progressive optic neurodegenerative disease leading to vision deterioration and in most cases produce increased pressure within the eye. This is due to the backup of fluid in the eye; it causes damage to the optic nerve. Hence, early detection diagnosis and treatment of an eye help to prevent the loss of vision. In this paper, a novel method is proposed for the early detection of glaucoma using a combination of magnitude and phase features from the digital fundus images. Local binary patterns(LBP) and Daugman’s algorithm are used to perform the feature set *** histogram features are computed for both the magnitude and phase components. The Euclidean distance between the feature vectors are analyzed to predict glaucoma. The performance of the proposed method is compared with the higher order spectra(HOs)features in terms of sensitivity, specificity, classification accuracy and execution time. The proposed system results 95.45% output for sensitivity, specificity and classification. Also, the execution time for the proposed method takes lesser time than the existing method which is based on HOs features. Hence, the proposed system is accurate, reliable and robust than the existing approach to predict the glaucoma features.

Generalized Tonic Clonic seizure(GTCs)is a form of epileptic seizure in which a patient loses control over their entire body,ultimately leading to loss of *** Vagus Nerve stimulator(VNs)is a tool/method for treating epileptic episodes that sends counter-electrical stimulations to the Vagus Nerve in order to mitigate epileptic signals from the *** machine is a stand-alone device that depends on human *** proposed framework uses an IoT and Blockchain oversight mechanism to augment the device's *** system counteracts against false-activation by monitoring the patient's vitals through a smart watch and allows only legitimate *** nominal operating threshold is determined by preprocessing inferences that include an 18-year-old GTCs epileptic patient and a data set of 281 non-GTCs epileptic *** proposed system functions as a dual control lock where the IoT system and the manually activation system work in tandem to activate the *** on the values sensed by the IoT device,the deployed system is able to make deci-sions and regulate the use of the *** IoT-Blockchain framework is able to fully eradicate false activation by increasing accuracy and transparency,ensur-ing the device is used correctly and safely.

Removal of fluoride from water using aluminium containing compounds

Batch adsorption studies were undertaken to assess the suitability of aluminium titanate （AT） and bismuth aluminate （BA） to remove fluoride ions from water. The effect of pH, dose of adsorbent, contact time, initial concentration, co-ions and temperature on fluoride removal efficiency were studied. The amounts of fluoride ions adsorbed, at 30°C from 4 mg/L of fluoride ion solution, by AT and BA were 0.85 and 1.55 mg/g, respectively. The experimental data fitted well to the Freundlich and Langmuir isotherms. Thermodynamic parameters such as △H0, △s 0 and △G0 indicated that the removal of fluoride ions by AT was exothermic and non-spontaneous while that by BA was endothermic and spontaneous. Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR） analysis and X-ray diffraction （XRD） patterns of the adsorbent before and after adsorption indicated that fluoride ions were chemisorbed by these adsorbents.

soil is the major source of infinite lives on Earth and the quality of soil plays significant role on Agriculture practices all ***,the evaluation of soil quality is very important for determining the amount of nutrients that the soil require for proper *** present decade,the application of deep learning models in many fields of research has created greater *** increasing soil data availability of soil data there is a greater demand for the remotely avail open source model,leads to the incorporation of deep learning method to predict the soil *** that concern,this paper proposes a novel model called Improved soil Quality Prediction Model using Deep Learning(IsQP-DL).The work considers the chemical,physical and biological factors of soil in particular area to estimate the soil ***,pH rating of soil samples has been collected from the soil testing laboratory from which the acidic range has been categorized through soil test and the same data has been taken as input to the Deep Neural Network Regression(DNNR)***,soil nutrient data has been given as second input to the DNNR *** utilizing this data set,the DNNR method is used to evaluate the fertility rate by which the soil quality has been *** training and testing,the model uses Deep Neural Network Regression(DNNR),by utilizing the *** results show that the proposed model is effective for sQP(soil Quality Prediction Model)with efficient good fitting and generality is enhanced with input features with higher rate of classification *** results show that the proposed model achieves 96.7%of accuracy rate compared with existing models.

We study boundary value problems for fractional integro-differential equations involving Caputo derivative of order α∈ （n-1, n） in Banach spaces. Existence and uniqueness results of solutions are established by virtue of the Holder＇s inequality, a suitable singular Cronwall＇s inequality and fixed point theorem via a priori estimate method. At last, examples are given to illustrate the results.

The limited availability of phosphate （Pi） in most soils results in the manifestation of Pi starvation responses in plants. To dissect the transcriptional regulation of Pi stress-response mechanisms, we have characterized the biological role of MYB62, an R2R3-type MYB transcription factor that is induced in response to Pi deficiency. The induction of MYB62 is a specific response in the leaves during Pi deprivation. The MYB62 protein localizes to the nucleus. The overexpression of MYB62 resulted in altered root architecture, Pi uptake, and acid phosphatase activity, leading to decreased total Pi content in the shoots. The expression of several Pi starvation-induced （PsI） genes was also suppressed in the MYB62 overexpressing plants. Overexpression of MYB62 resulted in a characteristic gibberellic acid （GA）-deficient phenotype that could be partially reversed by exogenous application of GA. In addition, the expression of sOC1 and sUPERMAN, molecular reg- ulators of flowering, was suppressed in the MYB62 overexpressing plants. Interestingly, the expression of these genes was also reduced during Pi deprivation in wild-type plants, suggesting a role for GA biosynthetic and floral regulatory genes in Pi starvation responses. Thus, this study highlights the role of MYB62 in the regulation of phosphate starvation responses via changes in GA metabolism and signaling. such cross-talk between Pi homeostasis and GA might have broader implications on flowering, root development and adaptive mechanisms during nutrient stress.

The objective of this study was to isolate a potent dye-degrading microbe that can be used to reduce the pollution caused by industrial *** red 198 is an extensively used textile dye and is a major environmental pollutant in water bodies. In this study, a bacterial strain was isolated from sea sediments and identified as Acinetobacter baumannii with 16s rRNA sequencing. The isolated bacteria were immobilized in calcium alginate and decolorization studies were carried out to determine the optimum pH, temperature, dye concentration, inoculum volume,and static/agitated condition using the one factor at a time(OFAT) approach. The Box-Behnken design, a type of response surface methodology,was adopted to improve the degradation efficiency. At 37℃ using an inoculum volume of six beads, 96.20% decolorization was observed in 500 mg/L of reactive red 198 after 72 h. Dye degradation was confirmed with UV-visible spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy studies of the dye and degraded metabolites. Microbial toxicity studies using Escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and phytotoxicity studies using Vigna radiata proved that the toxicity of the dye was significantly reduced after degradation. We can conclude that the isolated A. baumannii strain is an efficient dye-degrading microbe that can be used to reduce the pollution caused by industrial dyes.
