Urea-assisted natural seawater electrolysis is an emerging technology that is effective for grid-scale carbon-neutral hydrogen mass production yet *** scaling relations is an effective strategy to break through the bottleneck of natural seawater ***,by dFT calculation,we demonstrated that the interface boundaries between Ni_(2)P and MoO_(2) play an essential role in the selfrelaxation of the Ni-O interfacial bond,effectively modulating a coordination number of intermediates to control independently their adsorption-free energy,thus circumventing the adsorption-energy scaling *** this conceptual model,a well-defined 3d F-doped Ni_(2)P-MoO_(2) heterostructure microrod array was rationally designed via an interfacial engineering strategy toward urea-assisted natural seawater *** a result,the F-Ni_(2)P-MoO_(2) exhibits eminently active and durable bifunctional catalysts for both HER and OER in acid,alkaline,and alkaline sea water-based *** in-situ analysis,we found that a thin amorphous layer of NiOOH,which is evolved from the Ni_(2)P during anodic reaction,is real catalytic active sites for the OER and UOR ***,such electrode-assembled urea-assisted natural seawater electrolyzer requires low voltages of 1.29 and 1.75 V to drive 10 and600 mA cm^(-2)and demonstrates superior durability by operating continuously for 100 h at 100 mA cm^(-2),beyond commercial Pt/c||RuO_(2) and most previous reports.

Objective:To examine the magnitude of isolated anti-HBc and other HBV serological patterns and associated predictors among adults seeking general health check-up at a large health center in ***:All 564 outpatients seeking general health checkup between January 2016 and december 2016 were asked to undertake HBV surface antigen,surface antibody,IgG and IgM core antibody(anti-HBc total),platelet counts,and liver function *** administered questionnaire was used to collect information regarding demography,in-house sources of infection,lifestyle,health condition and treatment,and HBV ***:Male gender(P=0.043),age(P=0.000),living in urban areas(P=0.040),HBV vaccination status(P=0.033),and ALT(P=0.040) were associated with isolated *** infection was associated with HBV vaccination status(P=0.001),ALT levels(P=0.010),AST levels(P=0.020),and platelet counts(P=0.007).Past/resolved HBV infection was associated with AST levels(P=0.005),ALT levels(P=0.014),and age(P=0.000).conclusions:Isolated anti-HBc is quite *** of isolated anti-HBc include male gender,living in rural areas,and HBV *** prevalence of isolated anti-HBc also increases with *** timely detect occult HBV infection and prevent transmission,anti-HBc testing should be included in the health check-up for high risk individuals and screening program where HBV nucleic acid test is not *** prevent transmission,clinicians need to pay more attention on those who are at risk of having isolated anti-HBc and closely follow-up patients with isolated anti-HBc and educate them about the prevention of HBV infection.

This paper presents a high-order coupled compact integrated RBF(cc IRBF)approximation based domain decomposition(dd)algorithm for the discretisation of second-order differential *** Schwarz dd algorithms,including one-level additive/multiplicative and two-level additive/multiplicative/hybrid,are *** ccIRBF based dd algorithms are analysed with different mesh sizes,numbers of subdomains and overlap sizes for Poisson *** convergence analysis shows that the ccIRBF two-level multiplicative version is the most effective algorithm among various schemes employed ***,the present ccIRBF two-level method converges quite rapidly even when the domain is divided into many subdomains,which shows great promise for either serial or parallel *** practical tests,we then incorporate the ccIRBF into serial and parallel two-level multiplicative *** numerical examples,including those governed by Poisson and Navier-Stokes equations are analysed to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the serial and parallel algorithms implemented with the *** results show:(i)the ccIRBF-Serial and-Parallel algorithms have the capability to reach almost the same solution accuracy level of the ccIRBF-Single domain,which is ideal in terms of computational calculations;(ii)the ccIRBF-Serial and-Parallel algorithms are highly accurate in comparison with standard finite difference,compact finite difference and some other schemes;(iii)the proposed ccIRBF-Serial and-Parallel algorithms may be used as alternatives to solve large-size problems which the ccIRBF-Single domain may not be able to deal *** ability of producing stable and highly accurate results of the proposed serial and parallel schemes is believed to be the contribution of the coarse mesh of the two-level domain decomposition and the ccIRBF *** is noted that the focus of this paper is on the derivation of highly accurate serial and parallel algorithms

Background and objectives Recent studies have shown that abdominal obesity is an important component for the diagnosis of metabolic syndrome (MS) and MS is a high risk factor for cardiovascular disease and diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study was to develop a new formula for screening and diagnosis of MS using the waist circumference (Wc) and skin fold thickness at the point A8 (SFA8) on the Erdheim diagram. Methods A total of 358 essential hypertensive patients (189 male and 169 female) with a mean age of 59.0±9.7 years were included; 151 healthy people (79 male, 72 female) with a mean age of 57.3±12.1 years (similar to hypertensive patients) who were non-hypertensive and non-diabetic served as a control group. All subjects had no evidence of hepatic, renal, or endocrine disease as determined by history, physical examination and screening blood tests. Height, weight, Wc, SFA8, blood pressure (BP), fasting plasma glucose, HdL-cholesterol and triglyceride levels were measured in all subjects. Abdominal obesity measured by Wc using the Asia-Pacific criteria (IdFA) was applied for meeting the MS definition. The normal value of SFA8 was measured in the non- MS group. Relationships between SFA8 and systolic BP, diastolic BP, fasting plasma glucose, HdL-cholesterol and triglyceride levels were calculated in the control group. A new formula was developed according to high SFA8 and high Wc. Results The normal value of SFA8 in non-MS group was 23.6±7.2 mm in male and 26.5±4.6 mm in female, respectively. The value of SFA8 in MS group was 36.7± 7.4 mm in male and 38.9 ± 8.1 mm in female, respectively. The value of Wc in MS group and non-MS group were 92.5±3.0 cm and 79.4±6. 1 cm in male and 86.3±6.4 cm and 74.7±5.4 cm in female, respectively. There was a correlation between SFA8 and systolic BP, diastolic BP, fasting plasma glucose, HdL-cholesterol and triglyceride in control group (the correlation coefficients were 0.29, 0.23, 0.25, -0.31 and 0.46, respectively, P < 0.01)

Backgroud and Objectives Previous studies have reported that skin fold thickness (SF) strongly correlated with insulin resistance in the metabolic syndrome (MetS). In this study, we developed a MetS definition by SF at A8 point (SFA8) on Erdheim diagram(MetSSFA8) in essential hypertensive patients. Subjects and Methods Medical records of 268 essential hypertensive patients (126males and 122 females) were analyzed, including 210 non-diabetic patients (NdM group) and 58 patients with diabetes (dM group).The mean age was 61.4 ± 9.9 and 59.0 ± 11.0 years, respectively. The control group consisted of 90 non-diabetic, non-hypertensive patients with a mean age of 58.0 ± 11.3 years. The proposed MetSSFA8 definition included SFA8 specific values ( ≥30 mm in female and ≥27 mm in male) and at least two of the following: raised triglyceride levels ( ≥1.7 mmol/L), or specific treatment for this lipid abnormality; raised blood pressure (SBP≥130 mmHg and/or dBP≥85 mmHg), or treatment of previously diagnosed hypertension;reduced HdL-cholesterol (＜ 1.03 mmol/L in men, ＜1.29 mmol/L in women), or specific treatment for this lipid abnormality; raised fasting plasma glucose (≥5.6 mmol/l), or previously diagnosed dM. Metabolic Syndrome by the National cholesterol Education Program and International diabetes Federation definitions were determined with abdominal obesity defined by Asia-Pacific criteria for waist circumference (NcEPA and IdFA). Results The percentage of MetS as defined by NcEPA, IdFA and MetSSFA8 in NdM group was lower than that of NcEPA, IdFA and MetSSFA8 in dM group [OR=7.7 (95%cI, 2.9-20.2) and 2.5 (95%cI, 1.4-4.8) and 2.7(95%cI, 1.3-5.6), respectively] and higher than that of the control group [OR=53.3 (95%cI, 16.7-170.6), 5.8 (95%cI, 2.6-13.2) and18.8 (95%cI, 7.3-48.7), respectively]. The percentage of MetS by NcEPA, IdFA and MetSSFA8 in males in NdM group was lower than the percentage of MetS by NcEPA, IdFA and MetSSFA8 in females in NdM group (50.8% and 77.9%, P＜ 0.0

This study aims to assess and rank the service quality of the healthcare system utilizing a Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchical Process(Fuzzy AHP)andGreyRelationalAnalysis(Fuzzy GRA)*** this study,the six primary characteristics of healthcare service quality,comprising Tangibles(A),Healthcare Staff(B),Responsiveness(c),Relationships(d),Support Service(E),and Accessibility(F),are examined through a case study of 20 private and public hospitals in Hanoi,*** weighting results of Fuzzy AHP technique indicated that Responsiveness(c)has the highest ranking,followed by Relationships(d)and Healthcare Staff(B).Meanwhile,Tangibility has finally comprised the next priority for increasing satisfaction with the service quality in the healthcare ***,the highest service quality rankings are top 5 private hospitals via the Fuzzy GRA ***,this proposed approach may be applied to a complex decision-making process,which often makes sense with subjective data or imprecise information.

carboxymethyl starch (cMS) can be cross-linked by electron beam radiation to form a biocompatible and environment-friendly hydrogel at a high absorbed dose and a condensed cMS concentration. Acrylic acid (AAc) can be used as a sensitizer in order to reduce the absorbed doses to an acceptable certain level. At an absorbed dose of 3-4 kGy, the gel content of crosslinked cMS can be obtained about 50% with 5% (w/w) AAc concentration used. The compressive strength of cMS samples increased with increasing their cross-linked densities due to raising absorbed doses. The swelling ratio of cross-linked cMS was also attainable at a maximum of 50 times in the distilled water. The enzymatic degradation of cross-linked cMS was carried out in acetate buffer pH 4.6 with 0.1% α-amylase enzymatic solution incubated at 40°c for 6 h. The crosslinked cMS samples were degraded slower than uncrosslinked cMS ones. The results indicated that the highly cross-linked cMS was almost fully degradable when the enzymatic hydrolysis was performed during 6 h. The FT IR spectra of cross-linked cMS in the presence of AAc were examined to observe the carboxyl group of AAc in the structure of cross-linked cMS. The hydrophilic of cross-linked cMS surface was determined by a contact-angle analysis. © 2013, Science Press. All rights reserved.

Soil quality assessment is valuable for agricultural production. In this research, 155 soil samples at two soil depths were collected from four land use types in an agricultural area of the A Luoi district in the central Vietnam. differences of soil organic carbon, total nitrogen in soil and soil pH under different land use types and topographic aspects were compared. Soil organic carbon contents in arable land and plantation forest are higher than those in natural forest and grassland (p conversely, the total nitrogen in natural forest was significantly lesser in comparison to other land use types. Meanwhile there were no significant differences of the total nitrogen content (p d, plantation forest, and grassland. The soil of grassland, natural and plantation forests land use types were more significantly acidic than those of the soils of the arable land use type. Soil organic carbon and total nitrogen showed a decreasing trend while soil depth increased in all land use types. The soil pH in plantation forest and arable land use types showed no significant change in relation to soil depth. Significant differences were not found in topographic aspects and soil organic carbon content;however, the different changing trends of soil organic carbon content between land use types and aspects were found. The impact of slope, elevation, farming system or soil texture accounted for the differences in these soil indicators under different land use types in the A Luoi district.
