BACKGROUND Cerebrovascular accident(CVA)is a major global contributor to death and *** part of its medical management,researchers have recognized the importance of promising neuroprotective strategies,where stem cell transplantation(SCT)is thought to confer advantages via trophic and neuroprotective *** To evaluate the current state of research on SCT in patients with CVA,assess key trends and highlight literature *** PubMed was screened for SCT in CVA-related articles in October 2023,for each country during the period between 2000 and *** the World Bank data,total population and gross domestic product were collected for ***_1.6.19 was used to create the VOS figure using the results of the same *** and tables were obtained using Microsoft Office *** A total of 6923 studies were identified on SCT in CVA,making 0.03%of all published studies ***,68%were conducted in high-income countries,with a significant focus on mesenchymal stem *** journal“Stroke”featured the largest share of these articles,with mesenchymal SCT having the highest rate of inclusion,followed by hematopoietic *** time,there has been a noticeable shift from in vitro studies,which assess stem cell proliferation and neurogenesis,to in vivo studies aimed at evaluating efficacy and ***,the number of reviews increased along this *** This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive guide for physicians and researchers in the field through an objective overview of research activity,and highlights both current trends and *** a potential therapeutic role in CVA,more research is needed in the future to focus on different aspects of SCT,aiming to reach a better treatment strategy and improve life quality in patients.

The context of recognizing handwritten city names,this research addresses the challenges posed by the manual inscription of Bangladeshi city names in the Bangla *** today’s technology-driven era,where precise tools for reading handwritten text are essential,this study focuses on leveraging deep learning to understand the intricacies of Bangla *** existing dearth of dedicated datasets has impeded the progress of Bangla handwritten city name recognition systems,particularly in critical areas such as postal automation and document ***,no prior research has specifically targeted the unique needs of Bangla handwritten city name *** bridge this gap,the study collects real-world images from diverse sources to construct a comprehensive dataset for Bangla Hand Written City name *** emphasis on practical data for system training enhances *** research further conducts a comparative analysis,pitting state-of-the-art(SOTA)deep learning models,including EfficientNetB0,VGG16,ResNet50,DenseNet201,InceptionV3,and Xception,against a custom Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN)model named“Our CNN.”The results showcase the superior performance of“Our CNN,”with a test accuracy of 99.97% and an outstanding F1 score of 99.95%.These metrics underscore its potential for automating city name recognition,particularly in postal *** study concludes by highlighting the significance of meticulous dataset curation and the promising outlook for custom CNN *** encourages future research avenues,including dataset expansion,algorithm refinement,exploration of recurrent neural networks and attention mechanisms,real-world deployment of models,and extension to other regional languages and *** recommendations offer exciting possibilities for advancing the field of handwritten recognition technology and hold practical implications for enhancing global postal services.

Background Atrial cardiomyopathy(AC)is an emerging concept explaining the pathophysiology of cardioembolic strokes in absence of atrial fibrillation(AF).A definition based on the presence of electrical abnormality(P-wave terminal force in lead V1(PTFV1)>5000µV×ms),N-Terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT pro BNP)>250pg/mL and/or indexed left atrial diameter(LADI)>3cm/m^(2)is currently tested in the ARCADIA(AtRial Cardiopathy and Antithrombotic Drugs In prevention After cryptogenic stroke)*** set out to estimate the prevalence of AC as defined in the ARCADIA trial,its determinants and its association with AF detected after stroke(AFDAS).Methods Stepwise screening for silent Atrial Fibrillation After Stroke(SAFAS)study prospectively included 240 ischaemic stroke *** markers were complete for 192 of them and 9 were not included in this analysis because AF had been diagnosed on *** A total of 183 patients were analysed,of whom 57%(104 patients)met the AC criteria(79 NT-proBNP,47 PTFV1,4 LADI).In the multivariate logistic regression,C reactive protein>3mg/L(OR(95%CI)2.60(1.30 to 5.21),p=0.007)and age(OR(95%CI)1.07(1.04 to 1.10),p34mL/m^(2),OR 2.35(CI 1.09 to 5.06)p=0029).Conclusion AC as defined in ARCADIA is mostly based on NT pro BNP elevation(76%of patients)and is associated with age and ***,AC was not independently associated with AFDAS at *** ARCADIA trial,which compares aspirin to apixaban in patients with embolic strokes of undetermined source with AC markers and must,therefore be analysed in the light of these limitations.

Circular single-stranded DNA(ssDNA)viruses have been rarely found in fungi,and the evolutionary and ecological relationships among ssDNA viruses infecting fungi and other organisms remain *** this study,a novel circular ssDNA virus,tentatively named Diaporthe sojae circular DNA virus 1(DsCDV1),was identified in the phytopathogenic fungus Diaporthe sojae isolated from pear ***1 has a monopartite genome(3185 nt in size)encapsidated in isometric virions(21-26 nm in diameter).The genome comprises seven putative open reading frames encoding a discrete replicase(Rep)split by an intergenic region,a putative capsid protein(CP),several proteins of unknown function(P1-P4),and a long intergenic ***,the two split parts of DsCDV1 Rep share high identities with the Reps of Geminiviridae and Genomoviridae,respectively,indicating an evolutionary linkage with both *** analysis based on Rep or CP sequences placed DsCDV1 in a unique cluster,supporting the establishment of a new family,tentatively named Gegemycoviridae,intermediate to both ***1 significantly attenuates fungal growth and nearly erases fungal virulence when transfected into the host ***,DsCDV1 can systematically infect tobacco and pear seedlings,providing broad-spectrum resistance to fungal *** localization analysis revealed that DsCDV1 P3 is systematically localized in the plasmodesmata,while its expression in trans-complementation experiments could restore systematic infection of a movement-deficient plant virus,suggesting that P3 is a movement ***1 exhibits unique molecular and biological traits not observed in other ssDNA viruses,serving as a link between fungal and plant ssDNA viruses and presenting an evolutionary connection between ssDNA viruses and *** findings contribute to expanding our understanding of ssDNA virus diversity and evolution,offering potential biocontrol applications for managing crucial plant d

Cumulative assessment is a tool for the project developer to try and take into consideration not only their contribution to cumulative impacts but also other projects and external factors that may place their developments at *** study assessed the cumulative impacts of air emissions from 22 major power plants in southeast Bangladesh planned to generate 21,550 MW of *** also includes anticipated growth in small to medium size industries,brickfields,highway traffic,inland water transport,transhippers,jetty,and vessel transports used for transporting fuel resources for these power plants.A 50 km by 50 km airshed is considered for air quality *** analysis indicates that predicted MGLCs(Maximum Ground Level Concentrations)of NO2 and CO are complying with both Bangladesh NAAQS(National Ambient Air Quality Standards)and WBG(World Bank Group)*** daily average MGLC of PM_(2.5)(62.45µg/m^(3))from all sources complies with NAAQS,however,exceeds the WBG *** PM_(2.5) concentration(15.45µg/m^(3))exceeds NAAQS and WBG *** PM10 concentration complies with the NAAQS for both 24-hour and annual averaging *** average concentration(23.12µg/m^(3))exceeds WBG *** average SO2 concentration(102.49µg/m^(3))complies with the NAAQS however,it exceeds the WBG guideline *** concentrations of PM_(2.5) and SO2 are due to the contribution of transboundary emissions and secondary pollutants in the *** dispersion modeling outcome can be used by the policymakers for the pollution reduction strategy.

Objective:To assess the nephroprotective potential of agmatine in a rat model of streptozotocin-induced diabetic ***:A single dose of streptozotocin(40 mg/kg)coupled with a fructose diet induced diabetes in Wistar ***(40 and 80 mg/kg)was administered to rats for 12 *** body weight and fasting blood glucose were measured *** level,urine output,total protein,albumin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,and cystatin-C were also determined at the end of the ***,superoxide dismutase,glutathione,interleukin-1β,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-alpha were evaluated in kidney *** study was also performed using hematoxylin and eosin ***:Agmatine at both doses significantly increased final body weight,and lowered fasting blood glucose,urine output,insulin,total protein,albumin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,and cystatin-C levels compared with the diabetic group(P<0.05).Inflammatory markers and antioxidant effect were significantly improved in agmatine-treated ***,the histopathological changes in renal structure were ameliorated by agmatine ***:Agmatine alleviates diabetic nephropathy by improving renal functions and reducing inflammation and oxidative *** molecular mechanisms of its nephroprotective actions need to be investigated in future study.
