Personality and Nomophobia: A Moderated Mediation Model of Self-Esteem and Non-Self-Determined Solitude

Background:With the development of information technology,mobile phone has brought much convenience to people’s lives but also caused many negative consequences due to excessive use,such as mobile phone addiction and *** studies have explored the relationship between the Big Five Personality and proble-matic mobile phone use(PMPU).However,they focus on mobile phone *** there is a correlation between nomophobia and mobile phone addiction,the psychological structure is ***,it is neces-sary to explore the relationship between personality and nomophobia and the underlying *** study aims to examine the relationship between Big Five Personality and nomophobia,then construct a moderated mediation model to explore the mediation effect of solitude between Big Five Personality and nomophobia,as well as the moderation effect of ***:Data from 678 college students(351 females,51.77%)were *** completed the Big Five Personality Inventory,Solitude Behavior Scale,Nomophobia Scale and Self-esteem *** were conducted via mediation and moderated ***:Structural equation models revealed that solitude mediated the relationship between neuroticism and *** results showed that neuroticism positively predicted solitude,which in turn positively predicted *** types of solitude partially mediated the relationship between neuroticism and *** also found that self-esteem moderated the association between neuroticism and non-self-determined *** is note-worthy that high self-esteem cannot protect people from negative ***,because of its characteristics,it is easy to receive more social information,and people high in neuroticism are sensitive to negative social *** may cause maladaptive ***:Findings demonstrated a process through which neu-roticism relates to nomophobia and a context under which these relatio

The strong hydrogen bonding ability of 2-pyridones were exploited to build nanotrains on *** wheels on axles difunctionalized with 2-pyridone hydrogen bonding units were synthesized and displayed spontaneous formation of linear nanotrains by self-assembly on SiO_(2)or mica *** using atomic force microscopy confi rmed linear formations with lengths up to 5μm and heights within the range of the molecular height of the carborance-tipped axles.

Effect of anchor and functional groups in functionalized graphene devices

The electrical properties of chemically derived graphene and graphene grown by chemical vapor deposition （CVD）, until now, have been inferior to those of mechanically exfoliated graphene. However, because graphene is easier to produce in large quantities through CVD or growth from solid carbon sources, it has a higher potential for use in future electronics applications. Generally, modifications to the pristine lattice structure of graphene tend to adversely affect the electrical properties by shifting the doping level and changing the conductivity and the mobility. Here we show that a small degree of graphene surface functionalization, using diazonium salts with electron-withdrawing and electron-donating functional groups, is sufficient to predominantly induce p-type doping, undiminished mobility, and higher conductivity at the neutrality point. Molecules without a diazonium anchor group desorb easily and do not have a significant effect on the electronic properties of graphene devices. We further demonstrate the variability between identically fabricated pristine devices, thereby underscoring the caution needed when characterizing graphene device behaviors lest conclusions be drawn based on singular extremes.

Radical Addition of Perfluorinated Alkyl Iodides to Multi- Layered Graphene and Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

A simple one-pot reaction that serves to functionalize graphite nanosheets(graphene)and single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)with perfluorinated alkyl groups is *** radical addition of 1-iodo-1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorododecane to ortho-dichlorobenzene suspensions of the carbon nanomaterial is initiated by thermal decomposition of benzoyl ***,UV photolysis of 1-iodo-perfluorodecane serves to functionalize the carbon ***-SWNTs,perfluorododecyl-graphene,and perfluorodecyl-graphene are characterized by infrared(IR)and Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and atomic force microscopy(AFM).The products show enhanced dispersability in CHCl3 as compared to unfunctionalized starting *** advantage of this one-pot functionalization procedure lies in the use of pristine graphite as starting material thereby avoiding the use of harsh oxidizing conditions.

College Students’Academic Stressors on Mental Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Comparison between Graduating Students and Non-Graduating Students

The study aimed to investigate the inﬂuence of academic stressors on mental health and the mediating effect of social support and self-identity among college students and further studied the difference between the graduating students and non-graduating students during the COVID-19 *** 900 college students as sub-jects,used the college students’academic stressors questionnaire,social support questionnaire,self-identity scale and depression anxiety stress scales(DASS-21).The results showed that:(1)The college students’academic stressor posi-tively predicted mental health;(2)Social support and self-identity mediated the relationship;(3)The model also held when academic stressors was replaced by work stressor,but there were differences between the graduating and non-graduating students;(4)The direct effect work stressor on mental health in the graduating group was not signiﬁcant;(5)The non-graduating students’work stressor could not predict mental health through social support.

Evaluation of the Use of Minimax Search in Connect-4—How Does the Minimax Search Algorithm Perform in Connect-4 with Increasing Grid Sizes?

As computers have become faster at performing computations over the decades, algorithms to play games have also become more efficient. This research paper seeks to see how the performance of the Minimax search evolves on increasing Connect-4 grid sizes. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Minimax search algorithm in making optimal moves under different circumstances and to understand how well the algorithm scales. To answer this question we tested and analyzed the algorithm several times on different grid sizes with a time limit to see its performance as the complexity increases, we also looked for the average search depth for each grid size. The obtained results show that despite larger grid sizes, the Minimax search algorithm stays relatively consistent in terms of performance.

Sandwich structured graphene-wrapped FeS-graphene nanoribbons （G@FeS-GNIKs） were developed. In this composite, FeS nanoparticles were sandwiched between graphene and graphene nanoribbons. When used as anodes in lithium ion batteries （L1Bs）, the G@FeS-GNR composite demonstrated an outstanding electrochemical performance. This composite showed high reversible capacity, good rate performance, and enhanced cycling stability owing to the synergy between the electrically conductive graphene, graphene nanoribbons, and FeS. The design concept developed here opens up a new avenue for constructing anodes with improved electrochemical stability for LIBs.

We give a new justification of the linear membrane and flexural shell models. We prove that the sequence of scaled energy functionals associated with the scaled problem r-converges to the energy functional associated with a two-dimensional model. This two-dimensional model is a membrane or flexural one, depending on the geometric and kinematic conditions. Then, a classical argument allows to give a new proof of the convergence theorems recently obtained by P.G. Ciarlet, V. Lods and B. Miara.

Successful Separation of Conjoined Twins at the Conakry University Hospital Center

Introduction: The birth of conjoined twins is an event extremely rare that offers unique therapeutic challenges and circumstances. We must examine each situation with the many questions that arise and which sometimes require a long reflection. We report a case of separation of pygopages conjoined twins as well as a review of the literature. Patients and Observations: a pair of conjoined twins aged 11 days, weighing 3080 g between them, was referred to the neonatology department from the Faranah prefecture, 300 km from Conakry, for care. The mother, a 30-year-old housewife, multipara, eight gestures and nine parities, had not followed any prenatal consultation. The delivery took place at home in a village with the death of the mother immediately postpartum. The clinical and paraclinical investigation had concluded with the diagnosis of Siamese type pygopage. After multidisciplinary consultation, the surgical treatment by separation of the twins was carried out at the age of 50 days with success and preservation of the physiological functions. Conclusion: The birth of conjoined twins is extremely rare. Each pair of Siamese is different and the surgical strategy must be adapted according to the shared organs. The perfect multidisciplinary work of the medical staff has been the main contributor to our success.
