It is shown tha. the ma.imum congruence μ conta.ned in on U-orthodox semigroups ca. be determined. a. a.consequence, we show tha. a.U-orthodox semigroup S ca. be expressed by the spined product of a.Ha.l semigroup W U a.d a.V-a.ple semigroup (T,V). This theorem not only genera.izes a.known result of Ha.l-Ya.a.a.for orthodox semigroups but a.so genera.izes a.other known result of El-Qa.la.i a.d Founta.n for type W semigroups.

micropla.tics represent a. emerging environmenta. problem worldwide, ra.sing ecologica. a.d food sa.ety concerns. Compa.ed to micropla.tics, there is growing evidence of a. even higher a.unda.ce of submicro-a.d na.opla.tics in the environment, but a.relia.le monitoring method for detecting these sma.ler-sized pla.tics is la.king. Herein we presented the a.plica.ion of surfa.e-enha.ced Ra.a. sca.tering(SERS) for this purpose. Pa.ticles of polystyrene(PS;600 nm) were used a. the probe a.a.yte. Gold na.ourchins(a. NU;50 nm),i.e. urchin-sha.ed na.opa.ticles with irregula. spikes a.ound the core, were used a. the SERS-a.tive substra.e. The effectiveness of SERS on PS wa. eva.ua.ed a. a.single-pa.ticle level with different numbers of a. NU in order to determine the minimum conditions required for the onset of the SERS effect. Our findings suggest tha. SERS of a.single pa.ticle of PS ca. be induced by a. few a. 1–5 pa.ticles of a. NU, a.d tha. the use of excita.ion wa.elength a. 785 nm is a.propria.e to meet the red-shifted surfa.e pla.mon resona.ce of a. NU upon a.grega.ion. These specifica.ions provide a.ditiona. informa.ion for the development of SERS-ba.ed tools for detecting pla.tic pa.ticles m in food a.d environmenta. sa.ples.
