Payment Channel Networks (PCNs) are a promising alternative to improve the scalability of a blockchain network. A PCN employs off-chain micropayment channels that do not need a global block confirmation procedure, thereby sacrificing the ability to confirm transactions instantaneously. PCN uses a routing algorithm to identify a path between two users who do not have a direct channel between them to settle a transaction. The performance of most of the existing centralized path-finding algorithms does not scale with network size. The rapid growth of Bitcoin PCN necessitates considering distributed algorithms. However, the existing decentralized algorithms suffer from resource underutilization. We present a decentralized routing algorithm, Swift, focusing on fee optimization. The concept of a secret path is used to reduce the path length between a sender and a receiver to optimize the fees. Furthermore, we reduce a network structure into combinations of cycles to theoretically study fee optimization with changes in cloud size. The secret path also helps in edge load sharing, which results in an improvement of throughput. Swift routing achieves up to 21% and 63% in fee and throughput optimization, respectively. The results from the simulations follow the trends identified in the theoretical analysis.

In this editorial,we comment on the article by Chen et *** specifically focus on the risk factors,prognostic factors,and management of brain metastasis(BM)in breast cancer(BC).BC is the second most common cancer to have BM after lung *** risk factors for BM in BC are:HER-2 positive BC,triplenegative BC,and germline BRCA *** factors associated with BM are lung metastasis,age less than 40 years,and African and American *** though risk factors associated with BM in BC are elucidated,there is a lack of data on predictive models for BM in *** studies have been made to formulate predictive models or nomograms to address this issue,where age,grade of tumor,HER-2 receptor status,and number of metastatic sites(1 vs>1)were predictive of BM in metastatic ***,none have been used in clinical *** Comprehensive Cancer Network recommends screening of BM in advanced BC only when the patient is symptomatic or suspicious of central nervous system symptoms;routine screening for BM in BC is not recommended in the *** decreases the quality of life and will have a significant psychological *** studies are required for designing validated nomograms or predictive models for BM in BC;these models can be used in the future to develop treatment approaches to prevent BM,which improves the quality of life and overall survival.

The present study proposes the mix design method of Fly Ash(FA)based geopolymer concrete using Response Surface Methodology(RSM).In this method,different factors,including binder content,alkali/binder ratio,NS/NH ratio(sodium silicate/sodium hydroxide),NH molarity,and water/solids ratio were considered for the mix design of geopolymer *** 2D contour plots were used to setup the mix design method to achieve the target compressive *** proposed mix design method of geopolymer concrete is divided into three categories based on curing regime,specifically one ambient curing(25°C)and two heat curing(60 and 90°C).The proposed mix design method of geopolymer concrete was validated through experimentation of M30,M50,and M70 concrete mixes at all curing *** observed experimental compressive strength results validate the mix design method by more than 90%of their target ***,the current study concluded that the required compressive strength can be achieved by varying any factor in the mix *** addition,the factor analysis revealed that the NS/NH ratio significantly affects the compressive strength of geopolymer concrete.
