Thermal comfort in winter incorporating solar radiation effects at high altitudes and performance of improved passive solar design-Case of Lhasa

The solar incidence on an indoor environment and its occupants has significant impacts on indoor thermal *** can bring favorable passive solar heating and can result in undesired overheating(even in winter).This problem becomes more critical for high altitudes with high intensity of solar irradiance,while received limited *** this study,we explored the specific overheating and rising thermal discomfort in winter in Lhasa as a typical location of a cold climate at high ***,we evaluated the thermal comfort incorporating solar radiation effect in winter by field ***,we investigated local occupant adaptive responses(considering the impact of direct solar irradiance).This was followed by a simulation study of assessment of annual based thermal comfort and the effect on energy-saving potential by current solar ***,we discussed winter shading design for high altitudes for both solar shading and passive solar use at high altitudes,and evaluated thermal mass shading with solar louvers in terms of indoor environment *** results reveal that considerable indoor overheating occurs during the whole winter season instead of summer in Lhasa,with over two-thirds of daytime beyond the comfort ***,various adaptive behaviors are adopted by occupants in response to overheating due to the solar ***,it is found that the energy-saving potential might be overestimated by 1.9 times with current window to wall ratio requirements in local design standards and building codes due to the thermal adaption by drawing *** developed thermal mass shading is efficient in achieving an improved indoor thermal environment by reducing overheating time to an average of 62.2% during the winter and a corresponding increase of comfort time.

Background:The type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)pharmacodynamic study of various parts of Schisandra sphenanthera was conducted in the previous stage,and it was found that dichloromethane extracted part(SDP)had a significant hypoglycemic ***,the components of SDP were analyzed,and the specific mechanism of its anti-T2DM was ***:We used a high-fat,high-sugar diet in combination with streptozotocin to induce a T2DM rat model,and the model rats were divided into two groups according to body weight and blood ***,oral glucose tolerance test,fasting blood glucose,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,superoxide dismutase,insulin,glycated hemoglobin,total cholesterol,nonesterified free fatty acids,alanine aminotransferase,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,aspartate aminotransferase,malondialdehyde,and glutathione peroxidase were measured,organ indices were calculated,and pathological sections of pancreas and liver were *** 16S rRNA V3–V4 region of intestinal flora was sequenced to explore the effect of SDP on biochemical indicators and intestinal *** on the above indicators,the anti-T2DM mechanism of SDP in Schisandra sphenanthera was ***:After six weeks of administration,the biochemical indices of diabetic rats were diminished compared to the control *** SDP could significantly increase the gut microbialα-diversity index,resulting in significant changes in the flora of T2DM rats,with increased richness and diversity,reduced harmful flora,and significantly back-regulated the levels of acetic acid,propionic acid,and butyric ***:SDP can improve the symptoms associated with elevated blood glucose,dyslipidemia,elevated fasting insulin levels,and damaged glucose tolerance in *** against T2DM may be through the control of intestinal flora to normalize and exert anti-diabetic effect;its main active components may be lignans and terpenoids.

Synthesis of Cerium-containing Polymethylphenyl Silicone and Its Antioxidant Effect on Fluorosilicone Rubber

As an essential elastomer used in edge technologies, fluorosilicone rubber(FSR) suffers serious oxidative ageing problem when serving at high temperature. Cerium oxide is generally used as an antioxidant additive but remains unsatisfactory. In order to obtain better antioxidant effect on improving the thermal stability of FSR, a kind of cerium-containing polymethylphenyl silicone(PSI-Ce) was synthesized and the structure was verified by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance(1HNMR). Due to the homogeneous dispersion on molecular scale, PSI-Ce imposed much better antioxidant effect than the commercial CeO2 did, no matter from isothermal degradation at 320 ℃ or thermal-oxidative ageing test at 230 ℃. In particular, after ageing for 72 h,FSR/PSI-Ce(2 phr) maintained 82% of tensile strength and 63% of elongation at break, in comparison to the corresponding values of 48%and 42% for FSR/CeO2(2 phr). Moreover, 2 phr PSI-Ce was equivalent to 0.046 phr CeO2 according to cerium element conservation.

Multifunctional oral delivery systems for enhanced bioavailability of therapeutic peptides/proteins

In last few years, therapeutic peptides/proteins are rapidly growing in drug market considering their higher efficiency and lower toxicity than chemical drugs. However, the administration of therapeutic peptides/proteins is mainly limited in parenteral approach. Oral therapy which was hampered by harsh gastrointestinal environment and poorly penetrating epithelial barriers often results in low bioavailability(less than 1%–2%). Therefore, delivery systems that are rationally designed to overcome these challenges in gastrointestinal tract and ameliorate the oral bioavailability of therapeutic peptides/proteins are seriously promising. In this review, we summarized various multifunctional delivery systems, including lipid-based particles, polysaccharide-based particles, inorganic particles, and synthetic multifunctional particles that achieved effective oral delivery of therapeutic peptides/proteins.

Interaction of salinity and cadmium stresses on mineral nutrients, sodium, and cadmium accumulation in four barley genotypes

Interaction of salinity （NaCI） and cadmium （Cd） on growth, mineral nutrients, Na and Cd accumulation in four barley genotypes differing in salt tolerance was studied in a hydroponic experiment. Cd, NaCI and their combined stresses reduced Ca and Mg concentrations in roots and shoots, K concentration in shoots, increased K and Cu concentrations in roots relative to control, but had non-significant effect on micronutrients Cu, Fe and Mn concentrations in shoot. The three stresses reduced accumulation of most tested nutrients in both roots and shoots, except NaCI and NaCl＋Cd stresses for root K and shoot Cu accumulation in salt tolerant genotypes. The salt tolerant genotypes did not have higher nutrient concentration and accumulation than the sensitive ones when exposed to Cd and NaCI stresses. In conclusion, the affecting mechanism of Cd stress on nutrients was to some extent different from salinity stress, and the NaCl＋Cd stress was not equal to additional Cd and NaCI stresses, probably due to the different valence and competitive site of Na^＋ and Cd^2＋. NaCI addition in the Cd-containing medium caused remarkable reductions in both Cd concentration and accumulation, with the extent of reduction being also dependent on genotypes. The salt-tolerant genotypes had lower Na concentration than sensitive ones.

Genetic mapping of quantitative trait loci associated with β-amylase and limit dextrinase activities and β-glucan and protein fraction contents in barley

High malting quality of barley （Hordeum vulgare L.） relies on many traits, such as β-amylase and limit dextrinase activities and β-glucan and protein fraction contents. In this study, interval mapping was utilized to detect quantitative trait loci （QTLs） affecting these malting quality parameters using a doubled haploid （DH） population from a cross of CM72 （six-rowed） by Gairdner （two-rowed） barley cultivars. A total of nine QTLs for eight traits were mapped to chromosomes 3H, 4H, 5H, and 7H. Five of the nine QTLs mapped to chromosome 3H, indicating a possible role ofloci on chromosome 3H on malting quality. The phenotypic variation accounted by individual QTL ranged from 8.08% to 30.25%. The loci of QTLs for D-glucan and limit dex- trinase were identified on chromosomes 4H and 5H, respectively. QTL for hordeins was coincident with the region of silica eluate （SE） protein on 3HS, while QTLs for albumins, globulins, and total protein exhibited overlapping. One locus on chromosome 3H was found to be related to （J-amylase, and two loci on chromosomes 5H and 7H were found to be associated with glutelins. The identification of these novel QTLs controlling malting quality may be useful for marker-assisted selection in improving barley malting quality.

探究市民化能力、农地转出对宅基地退出意愿的影响,可以推动农村宅基地制度改革实践和政策实施,为城镇化发展和乡村振兴过程中的用地保障提供重要理论和现实参考。基于黑龙江省海伦市423户农户调查数据,运用二元Logit模型、中介效应模型分析市民化能力、农地转出对农民宅基地退出意愿的影响,并揭示其代际差异。结果表明:个人市民化能力与宅基地退出意愿的正相关性具有统计学意义,农地转出对受教育程度、工作稳定性的影响均发挥中介作用,其中介效应分别占总效应的25.93%和34.09%;家庭市民化能力与宅基地退出意愿的正相关性也具有统计学意义,农地转出在非农收入占比和购买城镇住房的影响中均通过中介效应检验,且中介效应分别占总效应的41.18%和11.54%;农地转出在市民化能力对宅基地退出意愿影响的中介作用存在明显的代际差异,其父代成员个人市民化能力及子代成员家庭市民化能力影响宅基地退出意愿的中介效应更有统计学意义。基于此,从提高农民市民化综合能力、建立健全农地流转市场以及构建差别化的宅基地退出机制等方面提出了政策建议。

Generation of Accelerated Stability Experiment Profile of Inertial Platform Based on Finite Element

The residual stress generated in the manufacturing process of inertial platform causes the drift of inertial platform parameters in long-term storage ***,the existing temperature cycling experiment could not meet the increased repeatability technical requirements of inertial platform *** order to solve this problem,in this paper,firstly the Unigraphics（UG） software and the interface compatibility of ANSYS software are used to establish the inertial platform finite element ***,the residual stress is loaded into finite element model by ANSYS function editor in the form of surface loads to analyze the *** then,the generation based on ANSYS simulation inertial platform to accelerate the stability of experiment profile is achieved by the application of the analysis method of orthogonal experimental design and ANSYS thermal-structural *** optimum accelerated stability experiment profile is determined finally,which realizes the rapid,effective release of inertial platform residual *** research methodology and conclusion of this paper have great theoretical and practical significance to the production technology of inertial platform.
