A survey on the network models applied in the industrial network optimization

Network architecture design is critical for optimizing industrial networks. Network architectures can be classified into small-scale networks and large-scale networks based on scale. Graph theory is an efficient mathematical tool for network topology modeling. For small-scale networks, their structure often has regular topology. For large-scale ones, the current body of work mainly focuses on random characteristics of network nodes and edges. Recently, widely used models include random networks, small-world networks,and scale-free networks. In this study, starting from the scale of the network, network modeling methods based on graph theory as well as their industrial applications, are summarized and analyzed. Moreover, a novel network performance metric, called system entropy, is proposed. From the perspective of mathematical properties, an analysis of its non-negativity and concavity is performed. The advantage of system entropy is that it can cover the existing regular networks, random networks, small-world networks, and scale-free networks, and has strong generality. The simulation results reveal that this proposed metric can achieve the comparison of various industrial networks under different models.

Characteristics and genesis of tuffaceous shale oil lithofacies:A case study of Lucaogou Formation in Santanghu Basin

Lucaogou Formation in the Santanghu Basin is a special lacustrine fine-grained sedimentary deposits rich in volcanic debris and carbonate,with abundant shale oil ***,understanding of shale oil characteristics and genesis remains ***,sedimentary environment,and formation mechanisms of tuffaceous shale oil are investigated based on core and thin section observations,X-ray diffraction,field emission SEM and geochemical *** show that three mixed lithofacies types are developed in Lucaogou Formation:blocky tuff,laminated tuffaceous dolomite,and laminated dolomitic *** lithofacies types are characterized by high content of felsic and dolostone,widespread organic matter,and low clay *** of tuffaceous shale oil sweet spots is primarily influenced by four factors:inputting of volcanic ash as a high-quality source rocks and reservoirs provides good material basis;devitrification of volcanic glass,calcitization,and dissolution are crucial for formation of reservoirs;expulsion of source rocks with high-abundance organic matter expulsion facilitates migration and accumulation of hydrocarbon in adjacent reservoirs;fracture development improves reservoir permeability to form highly productive sweet *** analyzing characteristics and genesis of tuffaceous shale oil,the main controlling factors of reservoir physical property and oil saturation are clarified,which is of great significance for selection of shale oil exploration zones.

Increased Serum Cystatin C in Early Parkinson’s Disease with Objective Sleep Disturbances

Background：Sleep disturbance is one of the major non-motor symptoms which cause the disability of Parkinson’s disease （PD） patients. Cystatin C （CysC） is a more sensitive biomarker than serum creatinine or estimated glomerular filtration rate. Previous studies have reported altered CysC levels in neurodegenerative disorders and sleep disorders. This study aimed to explore the correlations of serum CysC levels and objective sleep disturbances in early ***：We recruited 106 early PD patients and 146 age- and sex-matched controls. All participants underwent clinical investigation and video-polysomnography. Sleep parameters and serum levels of CysC were measured. Then, we investigated the relationships between CysC and clinical variables and objective sleep disturbances in early PD ***：The mean serum level of CysC was significantly higher in patients with early PD （1.03 ± 0.19 mg/L） compared to controls （0.96 ± 0.15 mg/L, P = 0.009）. There were significantly positive correlations between serum CysC levels and age （r = 0.334, P 〈 0.001）, gender （r = 0.264, P = 0.013）, and creatinine levels （r = 0.302, P = 0.018） in early PD patients. Increased serum CysC levels in early PD patients were significantly associated with higher apnea and hypopnea index （AHI）（r = 0.231, P = 0.017）, especially hypopnea index （r = 0.333, P 〈 0.001）. In early PD patients, elevated serum CysC levels were positively correlated with oxygen desaturation index （r = 0.223, P = 0.021）, percentage of time spent at oxygen saturation （SaO2）〈90% （r = 0.644, P 〈 0.001）, arousal with respiratory event during sleep （r = 0.247, P = 0.013）. On the contrary, the elevated serum CysC levels were negatively correlated with mean and minimal SaO2 （r = ？0.323, ？0.315, both P = 0.001） in PD patients.Conclusions：The level of serum CysC was higher in early PD patients. Clinical effects of nonconvulsive electrotherapy combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction and changes of serum inflammatory factors in depression

Furan-derived Schiff base covalent adaptable thermosets with recyclability and anti-flammability

Conventional thermosetting polymers, mostly derived from nonrenewable petroleum resources, are not reprocessable and recyclable due to their highly cross-linked three-dimensional networks and face the disadvantage of high flammability. To solve these issues, in this study, we synthesized a novel Schiff base covalent adaptable thermoset from a furan-derived tri-aldehyde monomer(TMFP) and a furan-derived di-amine monomer(DFDA).The as-prepared TMFP-DFDA-Vitrimer exhibited superior anti-flammability with a high limiting oxygen index(LOI) of 35.0% and a UL-94 V-0 rating, which was attributed to the excellent charring ability. Additionally, TMFPDFDA-Vitrimer could also be conveniently recycled by chemical decomposition under a mixed hydrochloric acid/tetrahydrofuran(HCl/THF) solution. After recycling for 5 times, the thermal, mechanical, and flame retardant properties of the recycled TMFP-DFDA-Vitrimer retained almost unchanged compared to the original one. This work provides a prime instance to develop advanced thermosetting polymers from abundant furan-based compounds.

Avatars, as promising digital representations and service assistants of users in Metaverses, can enable drivers and passengers to immerse themselves in 3D virtual services and spaces of UAV-assisted vehicular Metaverses. However, avatar tasks include a multitude of human-to-avatar and avatar-to-avatar interactive applications, e.g., augmented reality navigation,which consumes intensive computing resources. It is inefficient and impractical for vehicles to process avatar tasks locally. Fortunately, migrating avatar tasks to the nearest roadside units(RSU)or unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV) for execution is a promising solution to decrease computation overhead and reduce task processing latency, while the high mobility of vehicles brings challenges for vehicles to independently perform avatar migration decisions depending on current and future vehicle status. To address these challenges, in this paper, we propose a novel avatar task migration system based on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning(MADRL) to execute immersive vehicular avatar tasks dynamically. Specifically, we first formulate the problem of avatar task migration from vehicles to RSUs/UAVs as a partially observable Markov decision process that can be solved by MADRL algorithms. We then design the multi-agent proximal policy optimization(MAPPO) approach as the MADRL algorithm for the avatar task migration problem. To overcome slow convergence resulting from the curse of dimensionality and non-stationary issues caused by shared parameters in MAPPO, we further propose a transformer-based MAPPO approach via sequential decision-making models for the efficient representation of relationships among agents. Finally, to motivate terrestrial or non-terrestrial edge servers(e.g., RSUs or UAVs) to share computation resources and ensure traceability of the sharing records, we apply smart contracts and blockchain technologies to achieve secure sharing management.
