Biliary strictures are characterized by the narrowing of the bile duct lumen,usually caused by surgical biliary injury,cancer,inflammation,and scarring from *** stent placement is a well-established method for the management of biliary ***,maintaining optimal mechanical properties of stents and designing surfaces that can prevent stent-induced tissue hyperplasia and biofilm formation are challenges in the fabrication of biodegradable biliary stents(BBSs)for customized *** study proposes a novel approach to fabricating functionalized polymer BBSs with nanoengineered surfaces using 3D *** 3D printed stents,fabricated from bioactive silica poly(ε-carprolactone)(PCL)via a sol-gel method,exhibited tunable mechanical properties suitable for supporting the bile duct while ensuring ***,a nanoengineered surface layer was successfully created on a sirolimus(SRL)-coated functionalized PCL(fPCL)stent using Zn ion sputtering-based plasma immersion ion implantation(S-PIII)treatment to enhance the performance of the *** nanoengineered surface of the SRL-coated fPCL stent effectively reduced bacterial responses and remarkably inhibited fibroblast proliferation and initial burst release of SRL in vitro *** physicochemical properties and biological behaviors,including in vitro biocompatibility and in vivo therapeutic efficacy in the rabbit bile duct,of the Zn-SRL@fPCL stent demonstrated its potential as a versatile platform for clinical applications in bile duct tissue engineering.

Mixing Characteristics of Pulsed Air-assist Liquid Jet into an Internal Subsonic Cross-flow

Penetration depth,spray dispersion angle,droplet sizes in breakup processes and atomization processes are very important parameters in combustor of air-breathing *** processes will enhance air/fuel mixing inside the *** results from the pulsed air-assist liquid jet injected into a cross-flow are *** experiments were conducted to a range of cross-flow velocities from 42～136 m/*** is injected with 0～300kPa,with air-assist pulsation frequency of 0～*** frequency was modulated by solenoid *** Doppler Particle Analyzer(PDPA) was utilized to quantitatively measuring droplet ***-speed CCD camera was used to obtain injected spray *** air-assist liquid jet will offer rapid mixing and good liquid jet ***-assist makes a very fine droplet which generated mist-like *** air-assist liquid jet will introduce additional supplementary turbulent mixing and control of penetration depth into a cross-flow *** results show that pulsation frequency has an effect on penetration,transverse velocities and droplet *** experimental data generated in these studies are used for a development of active control strategies to optimize the liquid jet penetration in subsonic cross-flow conditions and predict combustion low frequency instability.

Study on wear behavior of plasma electrolytic oxidation coatings on aluminum alloy

Thick and hard ceramic coatings were fabricated on A356 aluminum alloy by using plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO) technique. The microstructure and phase composition of the PEO coatings were examined by using SEM and XRD method. It is found that the PEO coatings are mainly composed of crystalline α-Al2O3 and mullite. The dry sliding wear test of PEO coatings were carried out on a ring-on-ring wear machine. Results shows that there is hardly no wear loss of polished PEO coatings while the wear rate of uncoated aluminum alloy is 4.3×10-5 mm3·(N·m)-1 at a speed of 0.52 m·s-1 and a load of 40 N.

Influence of tool deflection on micro channel pattern of 6:4 brass with rectangular tool

Machining experiment of micro channel structure with 6:4 brass was carried out by shaping process using a single crystal diamond tool. FEM simulation using solid cantilever beam model was analyzed. In result of experiment, tool deflection is observed as machining characteristics through result of experiments such as surface roughness, cutting force and burr formations. And the influence of tool deflection is experimentally proved.

Occurrence and distribution of hydroxylated isoprenoid glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers(OH-GDGTs) in the Han River system, South Korea

We investigated the occurrence and distribution of terrestrial-derived hydroxylated isoprenoid glycerol dialkyl glycerol tetraethers(OH-GDGTs) in the Han River system and their potential impact on the application of the ring index of OH-GDGTs(RI-OH) as a sea surface temperature(SST) proxy in the eastern Yellow Sea. Thereby, we analyzed various samples collected along the Han River and from its surrounding areas(South Korea, n = 34). The OHGDGTs were found in all samples investigated. OH-GDGT-0 was the dominant OH-GDGT component in the estuary and marine samples while OH-GDGT-2 was generally dominant in the soils, the lake sediments and the river suspended particulate matter(SPM). Our results thus suggests a possible warm bias of the RI-OH-derived summer SSTs in the coastal zone to which a large amount of terrestrial organic matter is being supplied. Further studies are necessary to better assess the applicability of the RI-OH proxy in the eastern Yellow Sea.

Transmesocolic hernia with strangulation in a patient without surgical history: Case report

Transmesenteric hernias have bimodal distribution and occur in both pediatric and adult patients. In the adult population, the cause is iatrogenic, traumatic, or inflammatory. We report a case of transmesocolic hernia in an elderly person without any preoperative history. An 84-year-old Korean female was admitted with midabdominal pain and distension for 1 d. On abdominal computed tomography, we diagnosed transmesocolic hernia with strangulated small bowel obstruction, and performed emergency surgery. The postoperative period was uneventful and she was discharged 11 d after surgery. Hence, it is important to consider the possibility of transmesocolic hernia in elderly patients with signs and symptoms of intestinal obstruction, even in cases with no previous surgery. 2013 Baishideng. Object tracking,an important technology in the field of image processing and computer vision,is used to continuously track a specific object or person in an *** technology may be effective in identifying the same person within one image,but it has limitations in handling multiple images owing to the difficulty in identifying whether the object appearing in other images is the *** tracking the same object using two or more images,there must be a way to determine that objects existing in different images are the same ***,this paper attempts to determine the same object present in different images using color information among the unique information of the ***,this study proposes a multiple-object-tracking method using histogram stamp extraction in closed-circuit television *** proposed method determines the presence or absence of a target object in an image by comparing the similarity between the image containing the target object and other *** this end,a unique color value of the target object is extracted based on its color distribution in the image using three methods:mean,mode,and interquartile *** Top-N accuracy method is used to analyze the accuracy of each method,and the results show that the mean method had an accuracy of 93.5%(Top-2).Furthermore,the positive prediction value experimental results show that the accuracy of the mean method was 65.7%.As a result of the analysis,it is possible to detect and track the same object present in different images using the unique color of the *** the results,it is possible to track the same object that can minimize manpower without using personal information when detecting objects in different *** the last response speed experiment,it was shown that when the mean was used,the color extraction of the object was possible in real time with 0.016954 *** this,it is possible to detect and track the same object in real time when using the proposed

Development of two-axis control index table driven by direct drive motors

The stability and reliability of a tilting index table should be considered at the design stage. A design method for the lightweight and improvement of the stability of the structure in a tilting index table was proposed using a commercial analysis program, ANSYS Workbench 12, by analyzing the static-thermal characteristics of the developed high-accuracy tilting index table at its design stage. The results of the performed structural analysis show that the maximum stress is generated at the stock tail part. An optimum design for the stock tail part was carried out to reduce the maximum stress and deformation. Also, the design variables were determined by considering the support of the stock tail part for the C-axis body. In the comparison of the results before and after the optimization, the maximum deformation and stress are improved by 2.8% and 8%, respectively.

A Study on Small Pest Detection Based on a CascadeR-CNN-Swin Model

This study aims to detect and prevent greening disease in citrus trees using a deep neural *** process of collecting data on citrus greening disease is very difficult because the vector pests are too *** this paper,since the amount of data collected for deep learning is insufficient,we intend to use the efficient feature extraction function of the neural network based on the Transformer *** want to use the Cascade Region-based Convolutional Neural Networks(Cascade R-CNN)Swin model,which is a mixture of the transformer model and Cascade R-CNN model to detect greening disease occurring in *** this paper,we try to improve model safety by establishing a linear relationship between samples using Mixup and Cutmix algorithms,which are image processing-based data augmentation *** addition,by using the ImageNet dataset,transfer learning,and stochastic weight averaging(SWA)methods,more accuracy can be *** study compared the Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Networks Residual Network101(Faster R-CNN ResNet101)model,Cascade Regionbased Convolutional Neural Networks Residual Network101(Cascade RCNN-ResNet101)model,and Cascade R-CNN Swin *** a result,the Faster R-CNN ResNet101 model came out as Average Precision(AP)(Intersection over Union(IoU)=0.5):88.2%,AP(IoU=0.75):62.8%,Recall:68.2%,and the Cascade R-CNN ResNet101 model was AP(IoU=0.5):91.5%,AP(IoU=0.75):67.2%,Recall:73.1%.Alternatively,the Cascade R-CNN Swin Model showed AP(IoU=0.5):94.9%,AP(IoU=0.75):79.8%and Recall:76.5%.Thus,the Cascade R-CNN Swin Model showed the best results for detecting citrus greening disease.
