BAcKGROUND Oncostatin M(OSM)is a pleiotropic cytokine which is implicated in the path-ogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).AIM To evaluate the prognostic role of OSM in IBD *** Literature search was conducted in electronic databases(Google Scholar,Embase,PubMed,Science Direct,Springer,and Wiley).Studies were selected if they reported prognostic information about OSM in IBD *** data were synthesized,and meta-analyses were performed to estimate standardized mean differences(SMDs)in OSM levels between treatment responders and non-res-ponders and to seek overall correlations of OSM with other inflammatory *** Sixteen studies(818 crohn’s disease and 686 ulcerative colitis patients treated with anti-tumor necrosis factor-based therapies)were *** levels were associated with IBD severity.A meta-analysis found significantly higher OSM levels in non-responders than in responders to therapy[SMD 0.80(0.33,1.27);P=0.001],in non-remitters than in remitters[SMD 0.75(95%cI:0.35 to 1.16);Pcosal healing than in those with mucosal heal-ing[SMD 0.63(0.30,0.95);Pceiver operator curve values showed considerable variability between studies but in general higher OSM levels were associated with poor *** had significant correlations with Simple Endoscopic Score of crohn’s disease[r=0.47(95%cI:0.25 to 0.64);Pcopic Score[r=0.35(95%cI:0.28 to 0.41);Pcal calprotectin[r=0.19(95%cI:0.08 to 0.3);P=0.001],c-reactive protein[r=0.25(95%cI:0.11 to 0.39);Pcount[r=0.28(95%cI:0.17 to 0.39);PcONcLUSION OSM is a potential candidate for determining the severity of disease and predicting the outcomes of anti-tumor necrosis factor-based therapies in IBD patients.

The subversive nature of information war lies not only in the information itself, but also in the circulation and application of information. It has always been a challenge to quantitatively analyze the function and effect of information flow through command, control, communications, computer, kill, intelligence,surveillance, reconnaissance (c4KISR) system. In this work, we propose a framework of force of information influence and the methods for calculating the force of information influence between c4KISR nodes of sensing, intelligence processing,decision making and fire attack. Specifically, the basic concept of force of information influence between nodes in c4KISR system is formally proposed and its mathematical definition is provided. Then, based on the information entropy theory, the model of force of information influence between c4KISR system nodes is constructed. Finally, the simulation experiments have been performed under an air defense and attack scenario. The experimental results show that, with the proposed force of information influence framework, we can effectively evaluate the contribution of information circulation through different c4KISR system nodes to the corresponding tasks. Our framework of force of information influence can also serve as an effective tool for the design and dynamic reconfiguration of c4KISR system architecture.

Design and synthesis of superior cost-effective non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs)are still big challenges for facilitating the commercialization of organic solar cells(OScs),yet to be ***,two medium bandgap fully non-fused ring electron acceptors(NFREAs,medium bandgap,i,e.,1,3-1,8 eV),namely PTR-2cl and PTR-4cl are synthesized with only four steps by using intramolecular noncovalent interaction central core,structured alkyl side chain orientation linking units and flanking with different electron-withdrawing end *** them,PTR-4c1 exhibits increased average electrostatic potential(ESP)difference with polymer donor,enhanced crystallinity and compactπ-πstacking compared with the control molecule *** a result,the PTR-4cl-based OSc achieved an impressive power conversion efficiency(PcE)of 14.72%,with a much higher open-circuit voltage(V_(Oc))of 0.953 V and significantly improved fill factor(FF)of 0.758,demonstrating one of the best acceptor material in the top-performing fully NFREA-based OScs with both high PcE and V_(Oc).Notably,PTR-4cl-based cells maintain a good T_80lifetime of its initial PcE after over 936 h under a continuous thermal annealing treatment and over1300 h T_(80)lifetime without *** work provides a cost-effective design strategy for NFREAs on obtaining high V_(Oc),efficient exciton dissociation,and ordered molecular packing and thus high-efficiency and stable OScs.

Synthetic nitrogen(N)fertilizer has made a great contribution to the improvement of soil fertility and productivity,but excessive application of synthetic N fertilizer may cause agroecosystem risks,such as soil acidification,groundwater contamination and biodiversity ***,organic substitution has received increasing attention for its ecologically and environmentally friendly and productivity ***,the linkages between manure substitution,crop yield and the underlying microbial mechanisms remain *** bridge this gap,a three-year field experiment was conducted with five fertilization regimes:i)control,non-fertilization;cF,conventional synthetic fertilizer application;cF_(1/2)M_(1/2),1/2 N input via synthetic fertilizer and 1/2 N input via manure;cF_(1/4)M_(3/4),1/4 N input synthetic fertilizer and 3/4 N input via manure;M,manure *** fertilization treatments were designed to have equal N *** results showed that all manure substituted treatments achieved high soil fertility indexes(SFI)and productivities by increasing the soil organic carbon(SOc),total N(TN)and available phosphorus(AP)concentrations,and by altering the bacterial community diversity and composition compared with ***,AP,and the soil c:N ratio were mainly responsible for microbial community *** co-occurrence network revealed that SOc and AP had strong positive associations with Rhodospirillales and Burkholderiales,while TN and c:N ratio had positive and negative associations with Micromonosporaceae,*** specific taxa are implicated in soil macroelement *** Forest analysis predicted that both biotic(bacterial composition and Micromonosporaceae)and abiotic(AP,SOc,SFI,and TN)factors had significant effects on crop *** present work strengthens our understanding of the effects of manure substitution on crop yield and provides theoretical support for optimizing fertilization strategies.

Poly(ester amide)s(PEAs)attract much attention as a new kind of biodegradable ***,the synthesis of PEAs with sequence-regulated chain structures is still complicated due to the multistep polymerization,high monomer purity,as well as the usage of organic solvents,which greatly inhibits its development and ***,a one-pot strategy without solvent was developed to synthesize the alternating PEA fromα,ω-amino alcohol and dicarboxylic acid by sequential polycondensation,where water was used as the controlling agent for amidation and ***,the amidation and esterification were controlled to proceed in turn by adding or removing water,realizing the one-pot preparation of alternating *** resultant PEA is characterized by^1H-and^(13)c-NMR,and its chain structure is confirmed to be highly quasi-alternating similar to alternating PEAs prepared by classical methods The evaluations from DSc and DMA demonstrate that the properties of quasi-alternating PEA(T_(m)=102℃,ΔH_(m)=30J·g^(-1))are far superior to those of random PEA(T_(m)=72℃,ΔH_(m)<1 J·g^(-1)).

ZrB_(2)-based ceramics typically necessitate high temperature and pressure for sintering,whereas ZrB_(2)-Sic ceramics can be fabricated at 1500℃using the process of reactive melt infiltration with *** comparison to the conventional preparation method,reactive synthesis allows for the more facile production of ultra-high temperature ceramics with fine particle size and homogeneous *** this work,ZrSi_(2),B4c,and c were used as raw materials to prepare ZrB_(2)-Sic via combination of tape casting and reactive melt infiltration herein referred to as ZBc *** sample of ZrB_(2)-Sic was also prepared using ZrB_(2) and Sic as raw materials through an identical process designated as ZS *** analysis of both ceramic groups revealed smaller and more uniformly distributed particles of the ZrB_(2) phase in ZBc ceramics compared to the larger particles in ZS *** sets of ceramics underwent cyclic oxidation testing in the air at 1600℃for a cumulative duration of 5 cycles,each cycle lasting 2 *** of the oxidation behavior showed that both ZBc ceramics and ZS ceramics developed a glassy SiO_(2)-ZrO_(2) oxide layer on their surfaces during the *** layer severed as a barrier against *** ZBc ceramics,ZrO_(2) is finely distributed in SiO_(2),whereas in ZS ceramics,larger ZrO_(2) particles coexist with glassy SiO_(2).The surface oxide layer of ZBc ceramics maintains a dense structure because the well-dispersed ZrO_(2) increases the viscosity of glassy SiO_(2),preventing its crystallization during the ***,some SiO_(2) in the oxide layer of ZS ceramics may crystallize and form a eutectic with ZrO_(2),leading to the formation of ZrSiO_(4).This leads to cracking of the oxide layer due to differences in thermal expansion coefficients,weakening its barrier *** analysis of the oxidation resistance shows that ZBc ceramics exhibit less increase in oxide layer thickness and mass compared to ZS ceramics,su

Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by motor and gastrointestinal *** dysfunction can precede the onset of motor symptoms by several *** microbiota dysbiosis is involved in the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease,whether it plays a causal role in motor dysfunction,and the mechanism underlying this potential effect,remain ***/enhancer binding proteinβ/asparagine endopeptidase(c/EBPβ/AEP)signaling,activated by bacterial endotoxin,can promoteα-synuclein transcription,thereby contributing to Parkinson’s disease *** this study,we aimed to investigate the role of the gut microbiota in c/EBPβ/AEP signaling,α-synuclein-related pathology,and motor symptoms using a rotenone-induced mouse model of Parkinson’s disease combined with antibiotic-induced microbiome depletion and fecal microbiota *** found that rotenone administration resulted in gut microbiota dysbiosis and perturbation of the intestinal barrier,as well as activation of the c/EBP/AEP pathway,α-synuclein aggregation,and tyrosine hydroxylase-positive neuron loss in the substantia nigra in mice with motor ***,treatment with rotenone did not have any of these adverse effects in mice whose gut microbiota was depleted by pretreatment with ***,we found that transplanting gut microbiota derived from mice treated with rotenone induced motor deficits,intestinal inflammation,and *** of fecal microbiota from healthy control mice alleviated rotenone-induced motor deficits,intestinal inflammation,endotoxemia,and intestinal barrier *** results highlight the vital role that gut microbiota dysbiosis plays in inducing motor deficits,c/EBPβ/AEP signaling activation,andα-synuclein-related pathology in a rotenone-induced mouse model of Parkinson’s ***,our findings suggest that supplementing with healthy microbiota may be a safe and effective treatment that c
