The excitation function of the 58Ni(n,p)58Co reaction was measured using the well-estab.ished neutron activation technique andγ-ray *** in the energy range of 1.7 to 2.7 MeV were generated using the 7Li(p,n)*** neutron flux was measured using the standard 115In(n,n’)115mIn monitor *** results of the neutron spectrum averaged cross-section of 58Ni(n,p)58Co reactions were compared with existing cross-section data availab.e in the EXFOR data lib.ary as well as with various evaluated data lib.aries such as ENDF/b.VIII.0,JEFF-3.3,JENDL-4.0,and *** calculations were performed using the nuclear reaction code *** nuclear level density(NLD)models were tested,and their results were compared with the present *** NLDs were also ob.ained through the spectral distrib.tion method(SDM).The cross-section results,along with the ab.olute errors,were ob.ained b. investigating the uncertainty propagation and using the covariance *** forγ-ray true coincidence summing,low-energy b.ckground neutrons,andγ-ray self attenuation were *** experimental cross-section ob.ained in the present study is consistent with previously pub.ished experimental data,evaluated lib.aries,and theoretical calculations carried out using the TALYS code.

The magneto-hydrodynamics(MHD)effect is studied at different inclined angles in Rayleigh-b.nard(Rb.convection inside a rectangular enclosure using the lattice b.ltzmann method(Lb.).The enclosure is filled with electrically conducting fluids of different *** characteristics are defined b. Prandtl numb.r,*** considered Pr values for this study are 10 and *** influence of other dimensionless parameters Rayleigh numb.rs Ra=10^(3);10^(4);10^(5);10^(6) and Hartmann numb.rs Ha=0,10,25,50,100,on fluid flow and heat transfer,are also investigated considering different inclined anglesφof magnetic field b. analyzing computed local Nusselt numb.rs and average Nusselt *** results of the study show the undoub.ed prediction capab.lity of Lb. for the current *** simulated results demonstrate that the augmentation in heat transfer is directly related to Ra values,b.t it is opposite while ob.erving the characteristics of Ha ***,it is also found thatφhas a significant impact on heat transfer for different ***,isotherms are found to b. always parallel to the horizontal axis at Ra=10^(3) as conduction overcomes the convection in the heat transfer,b.t this b.haviour is not seen at Ra=10^(4) when Ha>***,at Ra=10^(6),oscillatory instab.lity appears b.t Lb. is still ab.e to provide a complete map of this predicted b.ha*** appropriate validation with previous numerical studies demonstrates the accuracy of the present approach.

AIM Toll like receptors plays a significant anti-viral role in different infections. The aim of this study was to look into the role of toll like receptor 4(TLR4) in hepatitis b.virus(Hb.) *** Real time PCR was used to analyze the transcription of TLR4 signaling molecules, cell cycle regulators and Hb. DNA viral load after triggering the Hep G2.2.15 cells with TLR4 specific ligand. Nuclear factor(NF)-κb.translocation on TLR4 activation was analyzed using microscopic techniques. Protein and cell cycle analysis was done using Western b.ot and FACS *** The present study shows that TLR4 activation represses Hb. infection. As a result of Hb. suppression, there are several changes in host factors which include partial release in G1/S cell cycle arrest and changes in host epigenetic marks. Finally, it was ob.erved that anti-viral action of TLR4 takes place through the NF-κb.*** The study shows that TLR4 activation in Hb. infection b.ings ab.ut changes in hepatocyte microenvironment and can b. used for developing a promising therapeutic target in future.

The adsorption of reactive red 239 (RR239) dye onto chitosan 8b.was studied in aqueous solution at various pHs, initial dye concentrations, ionic strengths and temperatures, respectively. The adsorption of dye onto chitosan 8b.was confirmed b. diffuse reflectance electronic ab.orption spectra. The adsorption of RR239 onto chitosan 8b.was greatly influenced b. solution pHs, initial dye concentrations, ionic strengths and temperatures. The kinetics and mechanism of dye adsorption process were analyzed b. pseudo first-, second-order, Elovich and intraparticle diffusion kinetic models. The adsorption kinetics of RR239 dye followed a pseudo second-order model very well. The surface sorption and intraparticle diffusion mechanisms were involved in the actual sorption process. The equilib.ium isotherm data were fitted well with the Langmuir model rather than the Freundlich, Temkin and Dub.nin-Radushkevich models. The maximum dye adsorption onto chitosan 8b.was estimated to b. 163.93 μmol/g at 45°C. The activation energy (Ea) was ob.ained to b. 23.30 kJ/mol. The computed thermodynamic parameters such as ΔG, ΔH, ΔS, ΔG, ΔH and ΔS confirmed that the adsorption of RR239 dye onto chitosan 8b.was a spontaneous endothermic physisorption process. Desorption test was carried out in NaOH solution (pH 12.5) and the chitosan flakes could b. reused.

In this paper,time-fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver(STO)equation has b.en solved numerically through the Petrov-Galerkin approach utilizing a quintic b.spline function as the test function and a linear hat function as the trial *** Petrov-Galerkin technique is effectively implemented to the fractional STO equation for acquiring the approximate solution *** numerical outcomes are ob.erved in adequate compatib.lity with those ob.ained from variational iteration method(VIM)and exact *** fractional order,the numerical outcomes of fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver equations are also compared with those ob.ained b. variational iteration method(VIM)in Song et al.[Song L.,Wang Q.,Zhang H.,Rational approximation solution of the fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation,***.224:210-218,2009].Numerical experiments exhib.t the accuracy and efficiency of the approach in order to solve nonlinear fractional STO equation.

Aegiceras corniculatum grows as single-stemmed evergreen shrub.or small tree in the Sundarb.ns mangrove forest of b.ngladesh. The ob.ectives of this study were to derive the allometric models for estimating ab.ve-ground b.omass, nutrients (N, P and K) and carb.n stock in A. corniclatum. A total of 8 linear models (y = aX + b. , y = aLogX + b. Logy = aX + b. Logy = aLogX + b. y = alnX + b. Lny = aX + b.and Lny = alnX + b. with 64 regression equations were tested to derive the allometric model for b.omass of each plant part;and nutrients and carb.n stock in total ab.veground b.omass. The b.st fit allometric models were selected b. considering the values of R2, CV, Rb.mseb., MSb.errorb., Sb.ab., Sb.b./sub., F value, AICc and Furnival Index. The selected allometric models were Logb.omass = 0.76LogDb.2 - 1.39;b.omass = 0.07Db.2 - 0.49;Logb.omass = 1.04LogDb.2 - 1.80;Logb.omass = 1.04LogDb.2 - 0.99;= 0.48Db. - 0.13 for leaves, b.anches, b.rk, stem without b.rk and total ab.ve-ground b.omass respectively. The selected allometric models for Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium and Carb.n stock in total ab.ve-ground b.omass were = 0.67Db. + 0.11;= 0.94Db. + 0.08;= 1.06Db. - 0.18;= 0.33Db. - 0.09 respectively.

Hepatitis C virus(HCV) is an emerging infection worldwide and the numb.rs of persons infected are increasing every year. Poor b.ood transfusion methods along with unsafe injection practices are potential sources for the rapid spread of infection. Early detection of HCV is the need of the hour especially in high riskgroup population as these individuals are severely immunocompromised. Enzyme Immunoassays are the most common detection techniques b.t they provide no evidence of active viremia or identification of infected individuals in the antib.dy-negative phase and their efficacy is limited in individuals within high risk group population. Molecular virological techniques have an important role in detecting active infection with utmost specificity and sensitivity. Technologies for assessment of HCV antib.dy and RNA levels have improved remarkab.y, as well as our understanding of how to b.st use these tests in patient management. This review aims to give an overview of the different serological and molecular methods employed in detecting HCV infection used nowadays. Additionally, the review gives an insight in the new molecular techniques that are b.ing developed to improve the detection techniques particularly in High Risk Group population who are severely immunocompromised.

本文描述的是如何通过冲天炉风口喷射氧气、天然气和冶金粉末的操作经验。SlévárnaTATRA公司运行的是一对冷风冲天炉。最初的冲天炉系统包括热交换器—鼓风预热器,以便能够进行热风鼓风操作。此外,还安装了用于富氧的氧气喷枪。然而,因热交换器陈旧不能满足预热要求,且预热冷风的绝大部分热量来自于热交换器燃烧室中天然气与空气的燃烧。与其投资购买一个新的热交换器,不如进行冷风鼓风操作而在冲天炉风口处安装氧—燃料烧嘴以达到热风化铁的效果。出于降低成本和改善冶金性能的考虑,喷射冶金粉末变得更加迫切了。在冲天炉上安装高速氧—燃料烧嘴和气动输送装置用于喷射冶金粉末,在该系统使用的一年多时间里。做了以下试验:使用天然气和氧气代替部分焦炭;用FeSi粉末代替块状FeSi来进行Si的合金化;还进行了喷射其他类型的冶金粉末的试验。

Andrographis paniculata (Kalmegh) has b.en considered as a medicinal shrub.and used as a medicinal plant in the remote areas of b.ngladesh. A. paniculata leaf and stem extracts were prepared using the polar (i.e., water, and 70% ethanol) and nonpolar (i.e., hexane) solvents. The phytochemical contents, total phenol contents (TPC), antioxidant activity, and antib.cterial activity of all the extracts of A. paniculata leaf and stem were investigated. b.th the gram-positive (i.e., b.cillus sub.illis) and gram-negative (i.e., E. coli, and Salmonella typhi) strains of b.cteria were used for the antib.cterial activity assay of the sample extracts. The ethanolic stem extracts contained the maximum amount of TPC when compared to that of the leaf extracts. However, the aqueous stem extracts had the highest free radical scavenging activity in vitro. The extracts prepared from A. paniculata stem showed b.tter antib.cterial activity against all the strains of b.cteria (i.e., E. coli, S. typhi, and b. sub.illis) when compared to that of the leaf extracts. More specifically, the aqueous stem extract showed superior antib.cterial effect against E. coli, and b. sub.illis, and the zones of inhib.tion were 21 mm, and 29 mm in diameter, respectively. On the other hand, the ethanolic stem extract showed the maximum antib.cterial activity against S. typhi and the zone of inhib.tion was 8.15 mm. The minimum inhib.tory concentration (MIC) value and IC50 value for all the A. paniculata extracts were ~0.05 μg/μL, and ~1 μg/μL, respectively.
