Objective:To evaluate four selected Malaysian honey samples from different floral sources(Gelam,Tualang,Nenas and Acacia)for their ability to inhibit the growth of fungi and yeast strains(Candida albicans,Aspergillus niger,Epidermophyton floccosum,Microsporum gypseum,Trichophyton rubrum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes).Methods:The broth microdilution method was used to assess the antifungal activity of honey against yeasts at different concentrations ranging from 0.01%to 70%(v/v).Minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)of the honeys were determined by visual inspection and spectrophotometric *** fungicidal concentration test was performed by further sub-culturing from the plates which showed no visible growth in the MIC assay onto Sabroud dextrose ***:All tested Malaysian honeys except Gelam showed antifungal activity against all species analysed,with the MIC ranging from 25%(v/v)to 50%(v/v)while MIC of Manuka honey ranged between 21%to 53%(v/v).Candida albicans was more susceptible to honey than other species ***:Locally produced honeys exhibited antifungal activity which is less than or equal to that of Manuka *** data showed evidence in support of the therapeutic uses of Malaysian honeys.

In recent times,the use of vertical take-off and landing(VTOL)multi-rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAVs)for spraying chemical pesticides against weeds and pests has recently become *** current aerial spray application research is primarily focused on examining the influence of UAV spraying parameters such as flight height,travel speed,rotor configuration,droplet size,payload and wind *** downwash airflow velocity generated by the UAV rotor propeller has a significant impact on the droplet deposition process.A test rig was developed to measure the downwash airflow pattern generated by the rotor propeller of a *** this investigation,a six-rotor electric autonomous UAV sprayer was used to investigate the parameters and distribution laws of downwash airflow *** downwash airflow velocity was measured using portable anemometers mounted on the test rig at radial positions viz.,0 m,0.5 m,1 m,1.5 m and 2 m,perpendicular to(X)and parallel to the UAV’s flight direction(Y).The experiment was conducted at three levels of hover height,viz.,1 m,2 m and 3 m(Z)and three levels of payload,viz.,0 kg,5 kg,and 10 *** special downwash airflow distribution pattern was analysed using the Python programming language(Version 3.7).Results show that the downwash airflow velocity generated by the radial position of the UAV rotor is evenly distributed on the rotating loop and the standard deviation of the downwash airflow velocity is less than 0.5 m/*** maximum downwash airflow velocity of 13.8 m/s was observed below the rotor at 10 kg payload capacity,1 m hover height(Z),and 0.5 m in the *** minimum downwash wind field of 0.3 m/s was observed at 0 kg pay load capacity,1 m height,and 2 m in the *** downwash airflow velocity along each position in the radial direction of the rotor increases initially and then *** downwash airflow distribution results helps in mounting of spray nozzle configuration to drone sprayer which helps to

Background:Hard mineral and acid salt deposits that clump together in concentrated urine are known as kidney stones.A complicated chain of physicochemical events,including hyper saturation,nucleation,growth,aggrega-tion,and retention in the urinary tract,leads to urolithiasis,the third most prevalent urinary tract *** traditional medications and therapies are less successful in treating urolithiasis and frequently cause ***:The present study is focused on evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from Spinacia oleracea *** Coriandrum sativum ***:To evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from *** and *** seeds against oxalate crystals by employing an in vitro inhibition,aggregation,and nucleation assay,employing a spectrophotometer followed by microscopic observation,and further monitored by egg semiperme-able membrane model,using cystone as a standard ***:In the present work,the alkaloids,glycosides,flavonoids,glycosides,phenols,saponins,steroids,tannins,terpenoids,and triterpenoids were found in the extracts of *** and *** in vitro assays in the present study clearly indicated that all the mixture extracts readily prevented crystal nucleation,growth and *** aqueous extract of the mixture inhibited significant inhibitory potential against the crystallization ***:It can be said that the phyto-constituents enriched homemade preparation possibly will be used as a medication for the management of kidney stones by dissolving the oxalate stone in the kidney.

Ontology is the progression of interpreting the conceptions of the information domain for an assembly of *** ontology as information retrieval(IR)aids in augmenting the searching effects of user-required relevant *** crux of conventional keyword matching-related IR utilizes advanced algorithms for recovering facts from the Internet,mapping the connection between keywords and information,and categorizing the retrieval *** prevailing procedures for IR consume considerable time,and they could not recover information *** this study,through applying a modified neuro-fuzzy algorithm(MNFA),the IR time is mitigated,and the retrieval accuracy is enhanced for trouncing the above-stated *** proposed method encompasses three phases:i)development of a crop ontology,ii)implementation of the IR system,and iii)processing of user *** the initial phase,a crop ontology is developed and evaluated by gathering crop *** the next phase,a hash tree is constructed using closed frequent patterns(CFPs),and MNFA is used to train the *** the last phase,for a specified user query,CFP is calculated,and similarity assessment results are retrieved using the *** performance of the proposed system is measured and compared with that of existing *** results demonstrate that the proposed MNFA has an accuracy of 92.77% for simple queries and 91.45% for complex queries.

This paper examines a steady two-dimensional flow of incompressible fluid over a vertical stretching sheet. The fluid viscosity is assumed to vary as a linear function of temperature. A scaling group of transformations is applied to the governing equa- tions. The system remains invariant due to some relations among the transformation parameters. After finding three absolute invariants, a third-order ordinary differential equation corresponding to the momentum equation and two second-order ordinary differential equations corresponding to energy and diffusion equations are derived. The equations along with the boundary conditions are solved numerically. It is found that the decrease in the temperature-dependent fluid viscosity makes the velocity decrease with the increasing distance of the stretching sheet. At a particular point of the sheet, the fluid velocity decreases but the temperature increases with the decreasing viscosity. The impact of the thermophoresis particle deposition plays an important role in the concentration boundary layer. The obtained results are presented graphically and discussed.

A novel content based image retrieval （CBIR） algorithmusing relevant feedback is presented. The proposed frameworkhas three major contributions： a novel feature descriptor calledcolor spectral histogram （CSH） to measure the similarity betweenimages; two-dimensional matrix based indexing approach proposedfor short-term learning （STL）; and long-term learning （LTL）.In general, image similarities are measured from feature representationwhich includes color quantization, texture, color, shapeand edges. However, CSH can describe the image feature onlywith the histogram. Typically the image retrieval process starts byfinding the similarity between the query image and the imagesin the database; the major computation involved here is that theselection of top ranking images requires a sorting algorithm to beemployed at least with the lower bound of O（n log n）. A 2D matrixbased indexing of images can enormously reduce the searchtime in STL. The same structure is used for LTL with an aim toreduce the amount of log to be maintained. The performance ofthe proposed framework is analyzed and compared with the existingapproaches, the quantified results indicates that the proposedfeature descriptor is more effectual than the existing feature descriptorsthat were originally developed for CBIR. In terms of STL,the proposed 2D matrix based indexing minimizes the computationeffort for retrieving similar images and for LTL, the proposed algorithmtakes minimum log information than the existing approaches.

The beet webworm, Spoladea recurvalis Fabricius, is a destructive pest on vegetable crops in tropics and subtropics; its main host plant is amaranth. It has become imperative to develop non-chemical methods to control S. recurvalis on amaranth. However, the lack of molecular information about this species has hindered the development of novel pest management strategies. In this study, high-throughput RNA sequencing covering de novo sequence assemblies, functional annotation of transcripts, gene function classification and enrichment was performed on S. recurvalis. Illumina sequencing generated a total of 120 435 transcript contigs ranging from 201 to 22 729 bases with a mean length of 688 bases. The assembled transcripts were subjected to Basic Local Alignment Search Tool- X （BLASTX） to obtain the annotations against non-redundant, Swiss-Prot, Clusters of Orthologous Groups （COG） and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes （KEGG） protein databases. A subset of 58 225 transcript sequences returned hits from known proteins in the National Center for Biotechnology Information database, and the majority of the transcript sequences had the highest number of hits for Danausplexippus （50.43%）. A total of 1217 Gene Ontology-level 3 annotations were assigned to 51 805 transcripts, while 39 650 transcripts were predicted as functional protein-coding genes in the COG database and 20 037 transcripts were enriched to KEGG pathways. We identified 40 putative genes related to pheromone production and reception in S. recurvalis, with the expression of one gene between 0.29 and 1141.79 fragments per kilo base per million （FPKM） reads. The transcriptome sequence of S. recurvalis is a first step toward offering a comprehensive genomic resource which would enable better understanding of molecular mechanisms to enable development of effective pest management practices for this species.
