Infection with the defective hepatitis D virus (HDV) co-infects or superinfects a patient carrying hepatitis B virus (HBV). Delta virus infection is relatively common. The seriousness of infection with the hepatitis D virus (HDV), a virus defective in a patient carrying the hepatitis B virus (HBV), lies in its aggravating effect on the associated viral hepatitis B. Our aim was to study the serological profile of HDV in HBsAg-positive patients. As this study was fragmentary, we initiated this study with the aim of investigating the serological profile of HDV in HBsAg-positive patients. This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study that ran from March 2019 to February 2020, a 12-month period. It focused on the population of patients seen and screened positive for HBsAg. We obtained a frequency of 10%. The mean age of our patients was 41.8 ± 13.09 years. The sex ratio was 4.5. VHD rna was detected in 50% of patients. In 100% of cases, the presence of VHD rna was associated with advanced fibrosis according to the APRI score, but without any statistically significant link. All HBV-infected patients should be screened for anti-HDV Ac. HDV infection leads to rapid progression to complications of liver disease.

目的:研究慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)合并肺癌患者血清长链非编码核糖核酸-人浆细胞瘤转化迁移基因1(Lncrna-PVT1)、微小核糖核酸-497-5p(miR-497-5p)表达与肺功能和预后的关系。方法:选择临沂市肿瘤医院2018年3月-2020年3月收治的116例COPD合并肺癌并行手术治疗的患者纳入观察组,同期单纯COPD患者50例纳入对照组。比较两组血清Lncrna-PVT1、miR-497-5p相对表达水平以及肺功能指标[第1秒用力呼气容积(FEV_(1))、用力肺活量(FVC)、FEV_(1)/FVC、第1秒用力呼气容积占预计值百分比(FEV_(1)%pred)]。采用Pearson检验分析COPD合并肺癌患者血清Lncrna-PVT1、miR-497-5p表达与肺功能指标的相关性。COPD合并肺癌患者术后进行3年随访,采用多因素Cox回归模型分析COPD合并肺癌患者预后影响因素。绘制Kaplan-Meier生存曲线分析Lncrna-PVT1、miR-497-5p低表达和高表达患者3年总生存率情况。结果:与对照组比较,观察组血清Lncrna-PVT1表达水平显著升高(Prna-PVT1与FEV_(1)、FEV_(1)%pred、FEV_(1)/FVC呈负相关(Prna-PVT1高表达组3年总生存率为29.23%明显低于Lncrna-PVT1低表达组的47.73%(Prna-PVT1高表达、miR-497-5p低表达是COPD合并肺癌患者预后的危险因素(Prna-PVT1呈高表达、miR-497-5p呈低表达,其表达水平与肺功能指标相关,且Lncrna-PVT1表达水平越高、miR-497-5p表达水平越低者的3年总生存率越低。

This paper discusses the relative importance of sulfur dioxide (SO2) to brewers because there are implications to beer quality, consumer health, and legal requirements. Overviews are provided on what SO2 is, its sources in beer, what quality parameters are impacted by SO2,what health implications are known, and labeling requirements. An overview of methodologies for measuring SO2 is given to educate brewers on the advantages and disadvantages of different methods with the aim to enlighten brewers to adopt a method that can be incorporated into their quality assurance program. Finally, an overview of published papers is summarized, along with general trouble-shooting guidelines for brewers to further their knowledge on controlling this critical yeast metabolite in their beers.

‘Zizhi S2' is a domesticated cultivar of Ganoderma sinense for commercial cultivation more than 18 years in southern China, which registered as Ganoderma sp. TQC-2021a strain Zizhi S2（NCBI: txid2816325）.Objectives To develop a genome-wide identification to verify the taxonomic status of this domesticated cultivars, and expect to explore novel gene（s） with important function. Methods The whole genome of Zizhi S2（56.76Mb, 16,681 genes） have been completed（DOI: 10.13560/***.1985.2021-1158）, and the assembled genome sequence and annotation information has been submitted to he Global Pharmacopoeia Herbal Genome Database with open download link（http://***/species/409）, 98.15% of complete BUSCOs were recovered in genome assembly, and the high-confidence annotation rate was accounted to 90.6%. Comparative genomics analysis and orthologous genes identification were analyzed by CD-HIT and OrthoMCL,collinearity analyses and Polygenetic sequence alignment were carry on by MUMmer and CLUSTAL *** software Phyml algorithm was applied to construct phylogenetic trees of 10 members of Ganoderma FIP gene family and two member of outgroup,3-D model were building on the SWISS-MODEL website together with the homologous FIPs. Results The collinearity exhibited the genome of ‘Zizhi S2' was 80.2% and 93.84% similar to reference genome of G. sinense ZZ0214-1 at the nucleotide and amino acid levels, respectively. And the core genes number between Zizhi S2 genome and reference genome of G. sinense ZZ0214-1 was 8,521 which presented 880 unique orthologous gene groups. Among that, at least seven highly conserved genes i.e. tef 1-α（translational elongation factor 1-alpha）, rpb2（rna polymerase subunit 2）, β-tubulin（tubulin beta chain）, fip（fungal immunomodulatory protein）, CaM（Ca2+-binding protein）, Mn-SOD（manganese superoxide dismutase） and Ve A（velvet factor family protein）, which commonly used in phylogenetics) displaied high similarity to 99.27～100%.

BACKGROUND Hepatitis C virus(HCV)genotype 6(HCV-6)infection is prevalent predominantly in Southeast Asia,and the data on the virologic response of HCV-6 to direct-acting antivirals(DAAs)are sparse in people living with human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)(PLWH).AIM To assess the virologic response of HCV-6 to DAAs in *** From September 2016 to July 2019,PLWH coinfected with HCV-6 initiating DAAs were *** investigations were performed at baseline,the end of treatment,and 12 wk *** Of the 349 PLWH included(mean age 48.9 years,82.5%men),80.5%comprised people who inject drugs,18.1%men who have sex with men,and 1.4%*** hepatitis B virus infection was present in 12.3%of the included PLWH,liver cirrhosis 10.9%,hepatocellular carcinoma 0.9%,and previous HCV treatment experience 10.9%.The mean baseline plasma HCV rna was 6.2 log10 IU/m *** with glecaprevir/pibrentasvir was initiated in 51.9%,sofosbuvir/ledipasvir 41.5%,sofosbuvir/velpatasvir 6.3%,and sofosbuvir/daclatasvir 0.3%.At DAA initiation,antiretroviral therapy containing tenofovir alafenamide was given in 26.4%,tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 34.4%,non-tenofovir alafenamide/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 39.3%,non-nucleoside reverse-transcriptase inhibitors 30.4%,protease inhibitors 4.0%,and integrase strand transfer inhibitors 66.8%;94.8%of the included patients had CD4 counts≥200 cells/mm3 and 96.0%had plasma HIV rnarna(tion-to-treat analysis(93.5%in patients receiving sofosbuvir-based DAAs and 91.2%in those receiving glecaprevir/pibrentasvir).CONCLUSION Similar to the observation made in HIV-negative patients,sustained virologic response 12 wk offtherapy with DAAs is high in PLWH coinfected with HCV-6.
