Effects of Environmental Factors on Corrosion Behavior of E690 Steel in Simulated Marine Environment

The effects of hydrostatic pressure, dissolved oxygen, temperature and flow velocity, and their interaction on the corrosion rates of E690 high-strength steel (HSS) in simulated marine environments were studied using response surface methodology. The results show that the flow velocity exerts the most significant influence on the corrosion rate of E690 HSS. Consequently, the corrosion behavior of E690 HSS under varying flow velocities were analyzed profoundly from initial pitting corrosion to long-term corrosion properties. The results indicate that the flow state facilitates the mass transfer and enhances the adsorption tendency of Cl− by enhancing the electrochemical activity of the steel surface. These factors accelerate the electrochemical reactions, resulting in increased pitting density, depth and the long-term corrosion rates in dynamic seawater environments.

Improving the performance of all-small-molecule organic solar cells(ASM-OSCs)largely depends on the design and application of novel donors with appropriate *** molecular conjugation is an effective method for regulating molecular stacking and *** this work,we successfully designed and synthesized two novel acceptor-donor-donor-donor-acceptor(A-D-D-D-A)type oligomeric donors with three dithieno[2,3-d:2′,3′-d′]benzo[1.2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene(DTBDT)as the central unit,named as 3DTBDT-Cl and 3DTBDT,depending on with and without chlorine substitution on the thiophene side *** found that the introduction of chlorine atoms makes the blend films display stronger crystallinity but with large-scale phase separation morphology and more defects,which eventually leads to a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of only 1..83%,whereas the blend films based 3DTBDT with appropriate crystallinity achieved 1..74%*** with 3DTBDT-Cl/L8-BO,the 3DTBDT/L8-BO films exhibited a nanoscale bi-continuous interpenetrating network morphology with a smaller domain size and more suitable crystallinity,which guarantees the corresponding devices obtained more efficient exciton dissociation,efficient charge transport,reduced bimolecular recombination,and performed more balanced carrier *** results demonstrated that regulating the crystallinity of oligomeric donors to obtain the desired phase separation morphology in the blend films could facilitate further improving the performance of ASM-OSCs.

In recent years, Flash LiDAR sensors based on direct timeof-flight(DToF) have been playing an increasingly important role in various 3D imaging fields. In order to perform a histogram on the chip to reduce the data rate, it is inevitable to use a large-size histogramming time-to-digital converter(hTDC) in a Flash LiDAR sensor. However, a large-size hTDC limits the spatial resolution of the sensor.

In an effort to clarify the formation mechanism of LPSO structure in Mg-Y-Zn alloy,the chemical environment and structural ordering in liquid Mg-rich Mg-Y-Zn system are investigated with the aid of ab-initio molecular dynamics *** liquid Mg-rich Mg-Y alloys,the strong Mg-Y interaction is determined,which promotes the formation of fivefold symmetric local *** Mg-Zn alloys,the weak Mg-Zn interaction results in the fivefold symmetry weakening in the liquid *** to the coexistence of Y and Zn,the strong attractive interaction is introduced in liquid Mg-Y-Zn ternary alloy,and contributes to the clustering of Mg,Y,Zn launched from *** is more,the distribution of local structures becomes closer to that in pure Mg compared with that in binary Mg-Y and Mg-Zn *** results should relate to the origins of the Y/Zn segregation zone and close-packed stacking mode in LPSO structure,which provides a new insight into the formation mechanism of LPSO structure at atomic level.

The efficiency of photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(PCRR)is restricted by the low solubility and mobility of CO_(2) in water,poor CO_(2) adsorption capacity of catalyst,and competition with hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Recently,hydrophobic modification of the catalyst surface has been proposed as a potential solution to induce the formation of triple-phase contact points(TPCPs)of CO_(2)(gas phase),H_(2) O(liquid phase),and catalysts(solid phase)near the surface of the catalyst,enabling direct delivery of highly concentrated CO_(2) molecules to the active reaction sites,resulting in higher CO_(2) and lower H+surface *** TPCPs thus act as the ideal reaction points with enhanced PCRR and suppressed ***,the initial synthesis of triple-phase photocatalysts tends to possess a lower bulk density of TPCPs due to the simple structure leading to limited active points and CO_(2) adsorption ***,based on constructing a hydrophobic hierarchical porous TiO_(2)(o-HPT)with interconnected macropores and mesopores structure,we have significantly increased the density of TPCPs in a unit volume of the *** with hydrophobic macroporous TiO_(2)(o-MacPT)or mesoporous TiO_(2)(o-MesPT),the o-HPT with increased TPCP density leads to enhanced photoactivity,enabling a high methanol production rate with 1.1..5μmol g^(−1. h^(−1. from *** results emphasize the significance of high-density TPCPs design and propose a potential path for developing efficient PCRR systems.

Long-term variation of Arctic Sudden Stratospheric Warmings(SSW) and potential causes

Utilizing the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast(ECMWF) Reanalysis v5(ERA5), for the first time, we have confirmed close links among Sudden Stratospheric Warmings(SSWs) in the Northern Hemisphere(NH), the polar vortices, and stratospheric Planetary Waves(PWs) by analyzing and comparing their trends. Interestingly, within overall increasing trends, the duration and strength of SSWs exhibit increasing and decreasing trends before and after the winter of 2002, respectively. To reveal possible physical mechanisms driving these trends, we analyzed the long-term trends of the winter(from December to February) polar vortices and of stratospheric PWs with zonal wave number 1. Notably, our results show that in all three time periods(the entire period of 41.inters, 1.80 to 2020, and the two subperiods — 1.80-2002 and 2002-2020) enhancing SSWs were always accompanied by weakening winter polar vortices and strengthening polar PWs like Stationary Planetary Waves(SPWs) and 1.-day waves, and vice versa. This is the first proof, based on ERA5 long-term trend data, that weakening polar vortices and enhancing stratospheric PWs(especially SPWs) could cause an increase in SSWs.

To improve image quality under low illumination conditions， a novel low-light image enhancement method is proposed in this paper based on multi-illumination estimation and multi-scale fusion (MIMS). Firstly， the illumination is processed by contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE)， adaptive complementary gamma function (ACG)， and adaptive detail preserving S-curve (ADPS)， respectively， to obtain three components. Then， the fusion-relevant features， exposure， and color contrast are selected as the weight maps. Subsequently， these components and weight maps are fused through multi-scale to generate enhanced illumination. Finally， the enhanced images are obtained by multiplying the enhanced illumination and reflectance. Compared with existing approaches， this proposed method achieves an average increase of 0.81. and 2.89% in the SSIM and PSNR， and a decrease of 6.1.% and 32.61. in the NIQE and GMSD， respectively.

巴基斯坦俾路支运动源于英国殖民统治，发轫于巴基斯坦立国之初，在阿尤布·汗执政时期最终形成。1.世纪中后期，英国殖民者在印度西北边疆部落地区实行的统治策略，深刻地改变了俾路支部落社会的基本形态，造就了巴基斯坦俾路支运动产生的社会土壤。印巴分治后，俾路支部落社会中的少数传统精英因巴基斯坦的领土整合而利益受损，遂借以争取民族独立之名发动叛乱。然而，由于巴基斯坦政府一定程度上沿袭了英印时期的怀柔政策，绝大多数部落并未参与其中，叛乱影响十分有限。20世纪50年代末，巴政府推动的现代化改革打破了俾路支部落社会维系了近百年的“政治默契”,触动了部落精英阶层的根本利益，激起了俾路支部落的联合抵抗。时至今日，部落对抗国家的阴云依然未能消散，能否促成“国家与部落的共生”将是解决这一历史问题的关键所在。
