In this study, macroscopic graphene-wrapped melamine foams （MF-G） were fabricated by an MF-templated layer-by-layer （LBL） assembly using graphene oxide as building blocks, followed by solution-processed reduction. By concisely duplicating sponge-like, highly ordered three-dimensional architectures from MF, the resulting MF-G with an interconnected graphene-based scaffold and tunable nanostructure was explored as compressible, robust electrodes for efficient energy storage. A thin layer of pseudocapacitive polypyrrole （PPy） was then attached and uniformly coated on MF-G, resulting in a well-defined core- double-shell configuration of the MF-G-PPy ternary composite sponges. The as-assembled devices exhibited enhancement of supercapacitor performance, with a high specific capacitance of 427 F·g-1 under a compressive strain of 75% and an excellent cycling stability with only 18% degradation after 5,000 charge- discharge cycles. Besides, the MF-G-PPy electrode maintained stable capacitance up to 100 compression-release cycles, with a compressive strain of 75%. These encouraging results thus provide a new route towards the low-cost, easily scalable fabrication of lightweight and deformation-tolerant electrodes.

Simulated enantiomeric excess of glutamic acid was determined by a lab-made sixteen-channel capillary array electrophoresis with confocal fluorescent rotary scanner. The experimental results indicated that the capillary array electrophoresis method can accurately determine the enanfiomefic excess of glutamic acid and can be used for high-throughput screening system for combinatorial asymmetric catalysis.

To alleviate the crisis of energy shortages,the scalable fabrication of highly efficient electrocatalysts is highly sought after for metal-air batteries and pH-universal overall water ***,an in situ construction to achieve Co@Ir nanoparticles in N-doped carbon nanotubes has been explored,which were directly fabricated by the pyrolysis and galvanic *** interface engineering of Co@Ir core-shell structures could enhance interfacial and synergistic effects,achieving the tailorable electrocatalytic activities for oxygen reduction reaction,oxygen evolution reaction and hydrogen evolution ***@Ir-NT demonstrates the outstanding stability for overall water splitting under pH-universal ***@Ir-NT-based r-ZABs display a high power density of295.1 mW·cm-2and a ultralong cycle stability over 2000continuous charge-discharge cycles,and Co@Ir-NT-based F-ZABs maintain the similar performance at different bending angles,suggesting its promising potential in the application of wearable *** corresponding theoretical calculations also indicate that Co@Ir core-shell structure could improve the adsorption capacity and facilitate the breakage of O-O ***,this work might be helpful for developing multifunctional catalysts for metalair batteries and water splitting under pH-universal conditions.

The stability and reactivity of nanomaterials are of crucial importance for their application, but the long-term effects of stability and reactivity of nanomaterials under practical conditions are still not well understood. In this study, we first established a comprehensive strategy to investigate the stability of a highly reactive nanomaterial from the viewpoint of reaction kinetics with ultrathin tellurium nanowires （TeNWs） as a model material in aqueous solution through an accelerated oxidation process. This allowed us to propose a new approach for the design and synthesis of other unique one-dimensional nanostructures by a chemical transformation process using the intermediate nanostructures ＂captured＂ during the dynamic oxidation process under different conditions. In essence, the oxidation of ultrathin TeNWs is a gas-solid reaction which involves liquid, gas and solid phases. It has been demonstrated that the oxidation process of ultrathin TeNWs in aqueous solution can be divided into three stages, namely oxygen limiting, ultrathin TeNWs limiting and mass transfer resistance limiting stages. The apparent oxidation kinetics for ultrathin TeNWs is approximately in accord with a first order reaction kinetics model and has an apparent activation energy as low as TeNWs are thermodynamically unstable 13.53 ***^-1, indicating that ultrathin However, the unstable nature of ultrathin TeNWs is actually an advantage since it can act as an excellent platform to help us synthesize and design one-dimensional functional nanomaterials--with special structures and distinctive properties--which are difficult to obtain by a direct synthesis method.

Explorations into new electrolytes have highlighted the critical impact of solvation structure on battery performance,Classical molecular dynamics(CMD) using semi-empirical force fields has become an essential tool for simulating solvation ***,mainstream force fields often lack accuracy in describing strong ion-solvent interactions,causing disparities between CMD simulations and experimental *** some empirical methods have been employed in some of the studies to address this issue,their effectiveness has been *** CMD research,supported by quantum chemical calculations and experimental data,reveals that the solvation structure is influenced not only by the charge model but also by the polarization *** empirical approaches that focused solely on adjusting ion-solvent interaction strengths overlooked the importance of polarization *** on this insight,we propose integrating the Drude polarization model into mainstream force fields and verify its feasibility in carbonate,ether,and nitrile *** experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances the accuracy of CMD-simulated solvation *** work is expected to provide a more reliable CMD method for electrolyte design,shielding researchers from the pitfalls of erroneous simulation outcomes.

Megahertz-peaked spectra(MPS) pulsars are referred as cases whose radio spectra turn over around 100 MHz. We identified 53 MPS pulsars based on the spectral data from the literature, and statistically analyzed the spatial location distribution, the magnetic field-period distribution, peak frequencies, spectral indices, and dispersion measures of these MPS pulsars. We found that there is a strong positive correlation between the dispersion measures and the peak frequencies of MPS pulsars, and negative correlations of the dispersion measures with spectral indices and the ages are also found. Such correlations suggest that the interstellar medium is an important factor that affects observational properties of MPS pulsars.

In this study,non-thermal plasma(NTP)was employed to modify the Cu/TiO_(2)adsorbent to efficiently purify H_(2)S in low-temperature and micro-oxygen *** effects of Cu loading amounts and atmospheres of NTP treatment on the adsorption-oxidation performance of the adsorbents were *** NTP modification successfully boosted the H_(2)S removal capacity to varying degrees,and the optimized adsorbent treated by air plasma(Cu/TiO_(2)-Air)attained the best H_(2)S breakthrough capacity of 113.29 mg H_(2)S/gadsorbent,which was almost 5 times higher than that of the adsorbent without NTP *** studies demonstrated that the superior performance of Cu/TiO_(2)-Air was attributed to increased mesoporous volume,more exposure of active sites(CuO)and functional groups(amino groups and hydroxyl groups),enhanced Ti-O-Cu interaction,and the favorable ratio of active oxygen ***,the X-ray diffraction(XRD)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)results indicated the main reason for the deactivationwas the consumption of the active components(CuO)and the agglomeration of reaction products(CuS and SO_(4)^(2−))occupying the active sites on the surface and the inner pores of the adsorbents.
