An evidence-based control strategy for emission reduction of VOC sources can effectively solve the regional PM2.5and O3compound pollution in *** estimated the anthropogenic VOC emission inventory in China in 2018 and established a source profile database containing 129 sources based on localized detection and the latest research ***,the distribution of the ozone formation potential(OFP)and secondary organic aerosol formation potential(SOAFP)for emission sources was ***,priority control routes for VOC emission sources were proposed for different *** VOC emissions in China reached 27,211.8 Gg in 2018,and small passenger cars,industrial protective coatings,biomass burning,heavy trucks,printing,asphalt paving,oil storage and transportation,coking,and oil refining were the main *** protective coatings,small passenger cars,and biomass burning all contributed significantly to OFP and *** in emission reduction control should be given to industrial protective coatings,small passenger cars,heavy trucks,coking,printing,asphalt paving,chemical fibers,and basic organic chemical sources over the medium and long term in *** addition,the priority control route for VOC emission sources should be adjusted according to the variations in VOC emission characteristics and regional differences,so as to obtain the maximum environmental benefits.

Effect of Cu（Ⅱ） on Degradation and Decolorization of Rhodamine B in Subcritical Water

In this paper, subcritical water, an environmentally friendly solvent, was employed to degrade rhodamine B, which served as a model dye in textile industrial effluents. The effect of Cu（Ⅱ） on the degradation of rhodamine B was evaluated. Further, the degradation kinetics of rhodamine B in subcritical water was evaluated via a Weibull model. The results show that subcritical water could efficiently degrade and decolorize rhodamine B. The addition of Cu（Ⅱ） into subcritical water could accelerate the degradation of rhodamine B and lower the temperature for its com- plete degradation. The Weibull equation could well express the degradation kinetics of rhodamine B. The calculated rate constants showed Arrhenius behavior and presented high correlation coefficients. The activation energy was 109.4 kJ/mol for subcritical water degradation of rhodamine B, whereas it became lower（93.4 kJ/mol） when Cu（Ⅱ） was added to the subcritical water. The frequency factors for the degradation of rhodamine B by subcritical water without and with Cu（Ⅱ） were calculated to be 1.0×10n and 3.2×109 min-1, respectively. The above results indicate that subcritical water treatment is a promising process for degrading and decolorizing textile dyes. The results will provide a theoretic support for the industrial application of subcritical water treatment.

Accurate acquisition of canopy structures,sizes and shapes of plants are significant in providing technical data for variable-rate precision spraying and plant growth estimation in modern *** research work proposes a comparative analysis of two mainstream brands of laser sensor scanners for canopy detection.A Hokuyo UTM-30LX laser sensor and a Sick LMS151-10100 laser sensor was used to detect spray targets including two artificial trees and a cuboid foam box,*** data acquisition and storage algorithms based on C++ language have been developed to collect real-time data from the given targets based on the sensors.A 3-dimentional image reconstruction algorithm was proposed to construct the detection targets using MATLAB *** this experiment,the detection distances between laser sensors and targets range from 1.8 to 2.2 m,and the traveling speed of laser sensors ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 m/s,and the size of trees 2.15×1.24×0.70m^3 have been taken for verification of proposed *** detection accuracies of both laser sensors have been compared by utilizing the given targets under indoor laboratory conditions,and detection accuracies of 3-dimentional reconstruction images of the target are analyzed by the root-mean-square error(RMSE),the coefficient of variation(CV)and edge similarity score(ESS).The experimental results show that the laser sensors have different detection accuracies under the same experimental conditions,and has different detection accuracy under different experimental *** LMS151-10100 laser sensor is more accurate and more suitable for detection in the case of fast detection ***,both sensors have the capability to measure the targets accurately and can be applied for the detection of trees in the area of variable-rate precision spraying.

To enhance the resistance of SiC_(f)/SiC to hydrothermal corrosion in the pressurized water reactor(PWR)environment,structurally tunable Ti_(3)SiC(2)-based corrosion mitigation coatings for SiC_(f)/SiC were prepared using molten salt *** influence of various process parameters,such as Si/Ti molar ratio in raw materials,annealing time,and annealing temperature,on the phase composition and the structure of the coatings was *** the process control,the fabricated coatings can be either Ti_(3)SiC(2) monolithic structure or TiC/Ti_(3)SiC(2) and TiC/Ti_(3)SiC(2)/Ti_(5)Si_(3)C_(x) multilayered *** coatings demonstrate strong bonding to the substrate due to in-situ reaction,exhibiting tensile and shear strength of at least 26.9 and 30.8 MPa,*** TiC as a transition layer further enhances the tensile and shear strength to 41.3 and 51.4 MPa,*** Ti_(3)SiC(2) coatings enhance the thermal conductivity of SiC_(f)/SiC by 10%–12%.Notably,Ti_(3)SiC(2) coatings effectively protect SiC_(f)/SiC from hydrothermal corrosion,demonstrating an 83%strength retention rate compared to 71%in the control group after ***,the Ti5Si3Cx layer exhibits unsatisfactory corrosion *** Ti_(3)SiC(2) monolithic coating has higher thermal conductivity,TiC/Ti_(3)SiC(2) multi-layered coating has higher bonding strength,and both have desirable resistance to the hydrothermal corrosion.

For the exploration of gas hydrate resources by measuring the dissolved methane concentration in seawater, a continuous-wave cavity ringdown spectroscopy (CW-CRDS) experimental setup was constructed for trace methane detection. A current-modulation method, rather than a cavity-modulation method using an optical switch and a piezoelectric transducer, was employed to realize the cavity excitation and shutoff. Such a current-modulation method enabled the improvement of the experimental setup construction and stability, and the system size and stability are critical for a sensor to be deployed underwater. Ringdown data acquisition and processing were performed, followed by an evaluation of the experimental setup stability and sensitivity. The obtained results demonstrate that great errors are introduced when a large fitting window is selected if the analog-to-digital converter has an insufficient resolution. The ringdown spectrum of methane corresponding to the 2 nu(3) band R(4) branch was captured, and the methane concentration in lab air was determined to be 2.06 ppm. Further experiments for evaluating the quantitative ability of this CW-CRDS experimental setup are underway from which a high-sensitivity methane sensor that can be combined with a degassing system is expected.

BACKGROUND: Emergency medical service system (EMSS) in China is becoming more important. However, studies on mortality of emergency departments (EDs) patients in tertiary hospitals and on the trends in mortality of ED patients all over China are stagnant. The objective of this study was to quantify and describe the trends in mortality of ED patients in China. METHODS: Nine tertiary teaching hospitals were selected from tertiary teaching hospitals in different regions. The annual numbers of ED visits and deaths of these hospitals in 2004, 2009 and 2014 were recorded and analyzed. Chi-square test was used to compare the mortality of the EDs’ visits. Moreover, data on the mortality of ED patients in China from 2005 to 2015 were summarized and analyzed from the China Health and Family Planning Statistical Yearbooks (2006–2016). RESULTS: From 2004 to 2014, the overall annual mortalities in EDs increased among the tertiary hospitals (P<0.001). However, the overall annual mortality in EDs all over China decreased from 0.12% in 2005 to 0.08% in 2015. And the mortalities of EDs patients in the eastern, central and western regions of China all decreased. In addition, the average mortality of EDs patients in northern China was obviously higher than that in southern China (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The ED mortality was increased in tertiary hospitals while decreased all over China during the past decade, which may be partly caused by some critical challenges faced by China’s EMSS, such as overcrowding and long length of stay in EDs of tertiary hospitals.
