Non-volatile memory(NVM)provides a scalable and power-efficient solution to replace dynamic random access memory(DRAM)as main memory.However,because of the relatively high latency and low bandwidth of NVM,NVM is often paired with DRAM to build a heterogeneous memory system(HMS).As a result,data objects of the application must be carefully placed to NVM and DRAM for the best performance.In this paper,we introduce a lightweight runtime solution that automatically and transparently manages data placement on HMS without the requirement of hardware modifications and disruptive change to applications.Leveraging online profiling and performance models,the runtime solution characterizes memory access patterns associated with data objects,and minimizes unnecessary data movement.Our runtime solution effectively bridges the performance gap between NVM and DRAM.We demonstrate that using NVM to replace the majority of DRAM can be a feasible solution for future HPC systems with the assistance of a software-based data management.

The Al-pillared montmorillonite-supported alkaline earth metal 5M/Al-PILC(PILC = pillared clay, M = Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba) and x Mg/Al-PILC( x = 1, 3, 5, and 7 wt.%) samples were prepared using an impregnation method. Physical properties of the materials were determined by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD) and N2 adsorption-desorption, and their CO2 adsorption behaviors were investigated using the thermogravimetric analyzer(TG), CO2 temperatureprogrammed desorption(CO2-TPD), and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared transform spectroscopy(in situ-DRIFTS) techniques. It is shown that 5 Mg/Al-PILC possessed the highest CO2 adsorption capacity(2.559 mmol/g). The characterization results indicate that Alpillaring increased the specific surface area of montmorillonite, which was beneficial for the adsorption of CO2. The CO2 adsorption process on the sample was mainly chemical adsorption, and alkalinity was the main factor influencing its adsorption capacity. The alkalinity of the sample was enhanced by loading an appropriate amount of alkaline earth metal, and the adsorbed CO2 was present in the form of bicarbonate and carbonate. In addition, the 5Mg/Al-PILC sample exhibited an excellent regeneration efficiency. We believe that the outcome of this research would provide a good option for developing highly effective CO2 adsorption materials.

The electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction(eCO_(2)RR)into high-value-added chemicals and fuels is a promising strategy to mitigate global warming.However,it remains a significant stumbling block to the rationally tuning lattice plane of the catalyst with high activity to produce the target product in the eCO_(2)RR process.To attempt to solve this problem,the Culn bimetallic alloy nanocatalyst with specifically exposed lattice planes is modulated and electrodeposited on the nitrogen-doped porous carbon cloth by a simple two-step electrodeposition method,which induces high Faraday efficiency of 80%towards HCOO-(FEHCOO-)with a partial current density of 13.84 mA cm-2at-1.05 V(vs.RHE).Systematic characterizations and theoretical modeling reveal that the specific coexposed Culn(200)and In(101)lattice facets selectively adsorbed the key intermediate of OCHO*,reducing the overpotential of HCOOH and boosting the FEHCOO-in a wide potential window(-0.65--1.25 V).Moreover,a homogeneous distribution of Culn nanoparticles with an average diameter of merely~3.19 nm affords exposure to abundant active sites,meanwhile prohibiting detachment and agglomeration of nanoparticles during eCO_(2)RR for enhanced stability attributing to the self-assembly electrode strategy.This study highlights the synergistic effect between catalytic activity and facet effect,which opens a new route in surface engineering to tune their electrocatalytic performance.

Solid oxide electrolysis cell(SOEC) could be a potential technology to afford chemical storage of renewable electricity by converting water and carbon dioxide.In this work,we present the Ni-doped layered perovskite oxides,(La_(4)Sr_(n-4))_(0.9)Ti_(0.9n)Ni_(0.1n)O_(3n+2) with n=5,8,and 12(LSTNn) for application as catalysts of CO_(2) electrolysis with the exsolution of Ni nanoparticles through a simple in-situ growth method.It is found that the density,size,and distribution of exsolved Ni nanoparticles are determined by the number of n in LSTNn due to the different stack structures of TiO_6 octahedra along the c axis.The Ni doping in LSTNn significantly improved the electrochemical activity by increasing oxygen vacancies,and the Ni metallic nanoparticles afford much more active sites.The results show that LSTNn cathodes can successfully be manipulated the activity by controlling both the n number and Ni exsolution.Among these LSTNn(n=5,8,and 12),LSTN8 renders a higher activity for electrolysis of CO_(2) with a current density of 1.50A cm^(-2)@2.0 V at 800℃ It is clear from these results that the number of n in(La_(4)Sr_(n-4))_(0.9)Ti_(0.9n)Ni_(0.1n)O_(3n+2)with Ni-doping is a key factor in controlling the electrochemical performance and catalytic activity in SOEC.

CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 samples were synthesized using hard-templating and evaporationinduced self-assembly(EISA)methods,respectively.The pore structures of CMK-3 and CFDU-15 as well as commercial activated carbon were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction,field emission scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and N2 adsorption–desorption.Adsorption of NO was investigated by means of thermogravimetric analysis,temperature-programmed desorption of NO+O2,and in situ diffuse reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The results show that the CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 materials possessed ordered and uniform structures.The coadsorption capacity of NO and O2 decreased in the sequence CMK-3(88.6 mg/g)>C-FDU-15(71.7 mg/g)>AC(25.3 mg/g).There were two main adsorption species on CMK-3 and CFDU-15:nitrite and nitrate.Nitrite is converted to nitrate easily.However,the adsorption species were more complex on AC,with nitrite being the main species.Moreover,CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 exhibit excellent regeneration efficiency compared with AC.The excellent NO adsorption performance of CMK-3 and C-FDU-15 was associated with their ordered mesoporous structures and high surface areas.The research provides more options for NO adsorption in the future.

AIM:To study the possible actions and mechanisms of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ) ,a ligand-activated transcription factor,in pancreatic carcinogenesis,especially in angiogenesis. METHODS:Expressions of PPARγand retinoid acid receptor(RXRα) were examined by reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) with immunocytochemical staining.Pancreatic carcinoma cells,PANC-1,were treated either with 9-cis-RA,a ligand of RXRα,or with 15-deoxy-Δ 12,14 prostaglandin J2(15d-PGJ2) ,a ligand of PPARγ,or both.Antiproliferative effect was evaluated by cell viability using methyltetrazolium(MTT) assay.A pancreatic carcinoma xenograft tumor model of nude mice was established by inoculating PANC-1 cells subcutaneously.Rosiglitazone,a specific ligand of PPARγ,was administered via water drinking in experimental group of nude mice.After 75 d,all mice were sacrificed.Expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) in tumor tissue was examined with immunohistochemical staining.Expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) mRNA in PANC-1 cells,which were treated with 15d-PGJ2 or 9-cis-RA at various concentrations or different duration,was detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.Effects of Rosiglitazone on changes of microvascular density(MVD) and VEGF expression were investigated in xenograft tumor tissue.Neovasculature was detected with immunohistochemistry staining labeled with anti-Ⅳcollagen antibody,and indicated by MVD. RESULTS:RT-PCR and immunocytochemical staining showed that PPARγand RXRαwere expressed in PANC-1 cells at both transcription level and translation level.MTT assay demonstrated that 15d-PGJ2,9-cis-RA and their combination inhibited the growth of PANC-1 cells in a dose-dependent manner.9-cis-RA had a combined inhibiting action with 15d-PGJ2 on the growth of pancreatic carcinoma.In vivo studies revealed that Rosiglitazone significantly suppressed the growth of pancreatic carcinoma as compared to control group(0.48±0.23 cm 3 vs 2.488±0.59 cm3,P<0.05) ,and the growth inhibition

目前10kV配电线路的带电接引流线作业为人员采用辅助工具进行操作,劳动强度大、危险系数高。为提高配电线路引流线辅助夹具系统的自动化程度,提出一种J型线夹用带电接引流线装置。根据接引流线的流程,对线夹夹紧进行受力分析,当线夹夹紧力为100N时,电机只需151.404N·mm的力矩就可夹紧导线;运用ANSYS Workbench软件对关键受力部件进行静力学分析,结果表明,翻盖的结构强度满足设计要求;运用ADAMS软件对紧固机构进行动力学分析,在螺母承受350N·mm的力矩条件下,线夹的夹紧力为503N,导线的夹紧力为1345N。根据设计方案,搭建试验样机进行现场试验,预期动作都可实现。该装置实现了带电接引流线的自动化与智能化,适用性强,安全可靠。

为描述稳态渗流下不同类别非饱和土涵洞的竖向土压力变化,应用圆弧小主应力轨迹法和Mohr应力圆获得考虑土拱效应的滑移面土压力系数,继而基于非饱和土的有效应力强度公式与吸应力理论,由水平薄层单元的竖向力平衡分别建立稳态渗流下上埋式/沟埋式非饱和土涵洞竖向土压力的迭代解,给出应用步骤并开展对比验证与方法拓展,最后结合吸应力沿深度分布规律提出涵洞竖向土压力的简化实用公式。研究结果表明:涵洞竖向土压力迭代解能合理反映土体类别、水分蒸发、降雨入渗和土拱效应的综合影响,并得到文献现场实测和理论公式数据的正确性验证以及对非饱和土涵洞的适用性;涵洞竖向土压力实用公式可显式表达且精度良好,方便估算不同稳态渗流下涵洞主要荷载;砂土涵洞可忽略非饱和特性影响而按饱和土计算竖向土压力,粉土和黏土涵洞可简化吸应力沿深度为线性分布;上埋式涵洞土拱负效应使得竖向土压力增大,而沟埋式涵洞土拱正效应使得竖向土压力减小。

The incidence of cutaneous melanoma(CM)has been increasing annually worldwide.In this study,we identify that MrgprF,a MAS related GPR family member,is decreased in cutaneous melanoma tissues and cell lines due to hypermethylation of its promoter region,and show that patients with CM expressing high levels of MrgprF exhibit an improved clinical outcome.We demonstrate that MrgprF forced expression inhibits tumor cell proliferation,migration,xenograft tumor growth,and metastasis.On the contrary,MrgprF knockdown promotes tumor cell proliferation and transformation of immortalized human keratinocyte-HaCaT cells,supporting the inhibitory role of MrgprF during tumor progression.Mechanistic studies reveal that MrgprF reduces the phosphoinositol‑3‑kinase(PI3K)complex formation between p101 and p110γsubunits,the critical step for phosphatidylinositol-(3,4)-P2(PIP2)conversion to phosphatidylinositol-(3,4,5)-P3(PIP3),and then reduces the activation of PI3K/Akt signaling.This effect can be reversed by Akt specific agonist SC79.In addition,AMG 706,a previously documented inhibitor for endothelial cell proliferation,is identified as a potential agonist for MrgprF,and can impede tumor growth both in vitro and in vivo.Taken together,our findings suggest that MrgprF,a novel tumor suppressor in cutaneous melanoma,may be useful as a therapeutic target in the future.
