omprehensive Summary,Polymetallaynes are a promising branch of metallopolymers,in which the introduction of metal building blocks to organic conjugated backbones leads to their unique skeletons and versatile ***,the chemical structures,geometric configurations and functional properties in these organometallic systems can be adjusted flexibly by the appropriate selection of metal centers,auxiliary ligands,or bridging *** recent years,both one-dimensional and two-dimensional polymetallaynes have attracted considerable attention owing to their excellent electronic,optical and magnetic ***,the studies on molecular metallaynes provide substantial insights for the exploration of the structure-property-activity relationships in these organometallic acetylide-containing *** recent research progress of polymeric and molecular metallaynes containing platinum,mercury and gold is discussed in this article.A series of functional properties have been realized in these acetylide-containing compounds by the rational structural design and refined synthetic strategies,leading to their emerging applications including energy conversion,nonlinear optics,data storage and memory,as well as chemo/biosensing.

Chronic hepatitis B(CHB)-related hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a major health problem in AsianPacific *** therapy reduces,but does not eliminate the risk of *** would be a heavy financial burden in most low and middle economic countries if all CHB patients received antiviral therapy and HCC ***,there is a need for accurate risk prediction to assist prognostication,decisions on the need for antiviral therapy and HCC surveillance.A few wellestablished risk factors for HCC,namely advanced age,male gender,high viral load,cirrhosis etc.,are the core components of three HCC risk scores:CU-HCC,GAGHCC and REACH-B *** 3 scores were confirmed to be accurate in predicting HCC up to 10 years in treatment-na ve *** validity and applicability have recently been demonstrated in a large cohort of entecavir treatment patients.A decrease in risk scores after antiviral therapy translates to a lower risk of *** findings support the application of HCC risk scores in all CHB *** levels of care and different intensities of HCC surveillance should be offered according to the risk profile of *** at risk of HCC should undergo regular HCC surveillance,even when they are receiving antiviral treatment.

Objectives To assess the association of socioeconomic indicators with various chronic and acute illnesses and the utilization of public health care in a new town in Hong Kong, China. Methods Illness experience and socioeconomic and demographic data of 7570 residents from 2022 randomly selected households were collected through telephone interviews. The relationships between socioeconomic indicators and illnesses/choice of health care were explored using stepwise logistic regressions after adjusting for sex and age. Results Significant positive associations were noted between low household income and diabetes mellitus, any chronic illnesses among adults and flu among younger subjects; low educational level and accident-related illness among adults; being born in Chinese mainland and flu, any acute illness in adults. For the utilization of public health care, low household income was the most consistent risk factor. Conclusion This study did not demonstrate a unidirectional socioeconomic gradient in healt

Background:Segment coordination variability(CV)is a movement pattern associated with running-related *** can also be adversely affected by a prolonged ***,research on this topic is currently *** purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a prolonged run on segment CV and vertical loading rates during a treadmill half ***:Fifteen healthy runners ran a half marathon on an instrumental treadmill in a biomechanical *** kinematic and kinetic data were collected every 2 km(from 2 km until 20 km),and the data were processed by musculoskeletal *** CVs were computed from the angle-angle plots of selected pelvis-thigh,thigh-shank,and shank-rearfoot couplings using a modified vector coding *** loading rate of vertical ground reaction force was also calculated.A one-way MANOVA with repeated measures was performed on each of the outcome variables to examine the main effect of running ***:Significant effects of running mileage were found on segment CVs(p≤0.010)but not on loading rate(p=0.881).Notably,during the early stance phase,the CV of pelvis frontal thigh frontal was significantly increased at 20 km compared with the CV at 8 km(g=0.59,p=0.022).The CV of shank transverse *** frontal decreased from 2 km to 8 km(g=0.30,p=0.020)but then significantly increased at both 18 km(g=0.05,p<0.001)and 20 km(g=0.36,p<0.001).Conclusion:At the early stance,runners maintained stable CVs on the sagittal plane,which could explain the unchanged loading rate throughout the half ***,increased CVs on the frontal/transverse plane may be an early sign of fatigue and indicative of possible injury *** studies are necessary for conclusive statements in this regard.

In this paper, we investigate the model checking problem for a general linear model with nonignorable missing covariates. We show that, without any parametric model assumption for the response probability, the least squares method yields consistent estimators for the linear model even if only the complete data are applied. This makes it feasible to propose two testing procedures for the corresponding model checking problem： a score type lack-of-fit test and a test based on the empirical process. The asymptotic properties of the test statistics are investigated. Both tests are shown to have asymptotic power 1 for local alternatives converging to the null at the rate n-r, 0 ≤ r 〈 1/2. Simulation results show that both tests perform satisfactorily.

Phantom limb is a disabling neuropsychiatric condition among amputees resulting in pain and disturbance that impact their functions,quality of life,and *** pharmacological approaches appeared to be ineffec-tive,the emergence and integration of X-reality,including virtual reality,augmented reality,and mixed reality,might elevate the effectiveness of mirror therapy in managing phantom *** objective of this study is to review X-reality for managing phantom pain.A systematic search was conducted on PubMed,Scopus,Web of Science,PsycINFO,Embase,and ***(n=16)studies containing 66 lower-limb and 53 upper-limb amputees were included for the review over the thematic framework of amputee characteristics and intervention designs,while thirteen(n=13)studies were further proceeded for the *** found eleven studies on virtual reality(n=11),four studies on marker-based augmented reality(n=4)and one study on mixed reality(n=1)with a total of 40 game/task themes involving,motor skills,motor control,and ***,all these interventions adopted the movement representation strategies with different ***,the X-reality interventions reduced the pain level of the amputees(mean difference:-2.30,95%CI,-3.38 to-1.22),especially the virtual reality subgroup(mean difference:-2.83,95%CI,-4.43 to-1.22).However,there were substantial heterogeneity and partially explained by the subgroup analysis on publication *** strength of evidence was limited by case reports and case series in this review.

Human motion capture technologies are widely used in interactive game and learning, animation, film special effects, health care, and navigation. Because of the agility, upper limb motion estimation is the most difficult problem in human motion capture. Traditional methods always assume that the movements of upper arm and forearm are independent and then estimate their movements separately; therefore, the estimated motion are always with serious distortion. In this paper, we propose a novel ubiquitous upper limb motion estimation method using wearable microsensors, which concentrates on modeling the relationship of the movements between upper arm and forearm. Exploration of the skeleton structure as a link structure with 5 degrees of freedom is firstly proposed to model human upper limb motion. After that, parameters are defined according to Denavit-Hartenberg convention, forward kinematic equations of upper limb are derived, and an unscented Kalman filter is invoked to estimate the defined parameters. The experimental results have shown the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed upper limb motion capture and analysis algorithm.

The main purpose of this paper is to give a review on recent advances of wavelet in probability and statistics. Many interesting new ideas, new results and new methods are introduced in this review. From many aspects of this paper, probability and statistics researchers may find many new interesting research topics for further studying on wavelets in stochastic processes. New results, such as K- sta-tionarity, wavelet representation of Karhunen processes, hidden periodicities analysis by wavelet approach, hetero-scedasticity in wavelet regression, wavelets and neural networks, etc. are introduced in this paper. Comments, discussions and plentiful references are also involved in this review.
