The purpose of this study is to investigate empirically the role of consumer perceived risks in the adoption of mobile health services. A theoretical model including the perceived risk associated with the activity targeted by a mobile health service and the perceived risk associated with the mobile service itself was developed and tested empirically in the context of an application supporting smoking cessation. The model was validated in a cross-sectional experiment conducted with 422 consumers in the UK and Canada. Findings show that while risk triggered by the nature of a health promotion activity is a strong driver of the adoption of the supporting mobile health service, risk related to the actual application targeting that activity is a comparatively weaker obstacle. The two contrasting risk perspectives are highly significant as they together explain over 31% of the variance in consumer intention to use the mobile health service, independently from other adoption factors. Overall, this study demonstrates that consumer risk perceptions alone are a multifaceted and meaningful component in mobile health services adoption, and that this element should not be overlooked in more complex research models.

In this work, vertically aligned carbon nanotubes（VACNTs） grown on aluminum foils were used as flexible supercapacitor electrodes. Aluminum foils were used as readily available, cheap and conductive substrates, and VACNTs were grown directly on these foils through chemical vapor deposition（CVD）method. solution based ultrasonic spray pyrolysis（UsP） method was used for the deposition of the CNT catalyst. Direct growth of VACNTs on aluminum foils ruled out both the internal resistance of the supercapacitor electrodes and the charge transfer resistance between the electrode and electrolyte. A specific capacitance of 2.61 m F/cm;at a scan rate of 800 m V/s was obtained from the fabricated electrodes, which is further improved through the bending cycles.

Background:The aim of this study was to identify risk factors,including the type of delivery,breastfeeding and its duration,birth weight,the timing of solid food introduction,the mother's education level at birth,and smoking status during pregnancy,that are associated with obesity in children living in ***:This study involving 4990 healthy children aged 2-14 years,at an outpatient clinic in a tertiary care hospital from June 2012 to July ***:The overall rates of overweight and obesity in children were 13.1% and 7.8%,*** demonstrated that 44.5% of children were delivered by caesarean *** all age groups,7.8% of children delivered by caesarean section were obese compared with 7.9% of children born *** significant association between caesarean section delivery and obesity in childhood was found in our study [odds ratio (OR)=0.98,95% confidence interval (CI)=0.64-2.87,P=0.454].There was also no association between duration of breastfeeding and the introduction of solid foods before 4 months or after 6 months of age and childhood obesity (OR=0.95,95% CI=0.69-1.3,P=0.771;OR=0.99,95% CI=0.64-1.53,P=0.261).Regression analyses revealed that children with birth weights greater than 3801 g or those with maternal body mass index (BMI) equal to or greater than 30 had an increased risk of being obese or overweight (OR=1.78,95% CI=1.19-2.65;OR=3.95,95% CI=1.94-5.81).Conclusions:This study demonstrated that increased birth weight and maternal BMI are significant risk factors for obesity in children living in Istanbul,*** relation between caesarean section delivery and childhood obesity was found in this study.

Objective:To identify and compare the existence of similar and other risk factors in the perspective of an Indian ***:It was designed as a case control study and was conducted in the Department of General and Vascular surgery Unit 2 of Christian Medical College,Vellore,India between the periods July 2003 to June 2005.100 patients with an ABPIs were ***:Peripheral arterial disease(PAD) was found to be commoner among males(87%).While atherosclerosis was the commonest aetiology(54%),the incidence of Thromboangiitis Obliterans was also not uncommon(38%).smoking was the main risk factor in the Indian context(83%) as compared to hypercholesterolemia(60%) in the West. The patients with atherosclerotic PAD were middle-aged and had concomitant diabetes(50%) and hypertension(30%).Conclusions:Peripheral arterial disease occurs in a relatively younger age group in India as compared to their Western *** Obliterans was found to be a significant aetiology for arterial occlusive disease,with smoking as the primary risk factor followed by diabetes,hypertension and hypercholesterolemia.

网络游戏障碍(IGD)是一个令人关注的需要进一步研究的问题。在本研究中我们尝试考察其神经机制,尤其是脑岛在其中的重要作用。根据我们之前提出的三元神经认知模型,我们假设(a)电子游戏线索会引起玩家与对照组之间更强的奖赏系统激活和较弱的前额叶激活;(b)玩家的IGD得分与奖励系统的激活呈正相关,与前额叶区域的激活呈负相关,(c)剥夺视频游戏会导致脑岛激活的增加,尤其是当游戏者接触视频游戏线索(相比于中性线索)时;以及(d)在剥夺条件下,脑岛与其他两个神经系统之间会分别产生正向和负向耦合。实验是招募了两组被试(长期游戏玩家与对照组),所有参与者都需要面对游戏刺激与中性刺激,而对于游戏玩家还需要在剥夺游戏时和正常状态下两个时间参加fM RI扫描。fM RI结果显示IGD评分与右腹纹状体的活动呈正相关,与右背外侧前额叶皮层(DLPFC)的活动呈负相关。当观察剥夺状态下的视频游戏线索时,左脑岛皮层活动最高。最后,与在剥夺条件下观看对照视频时相比,左脑岛与左腹纹状体之间的耦合增加,与左DLPFC的耦合减少。这些结果说明脑岛在平衡剩下两个系统的激活,以达到一个平衡,这揭示了游戏成瘾背后的脑机制。

Inflammatory fibroid polyp (IFP) is a rare solitary gastrointestinal lesion of unknown etiology. It generally presents as polypoid mass in the gastric antrum. Mostly affects adults at average age of 60 years. IFP can cause different symptoms such as abdominal pain, gastrointestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction or intussusception. IFP is a bening lesion and it may rarely mimic the submucosal tumor. The diagnosis can be possible after removal of the detected lession either by laparoscopic or open approach. In the present paper, we report a patient with gastric IFP and hiatal hernia. IFP was excised throughout the gastrotomy and following hiatal hernia was repaired. According to our best knowledge, this may be the first case report of gastric IFP concomitance with a hiatal hernia.

风险情境中的信息安全行为决策是一种风险决策,个体的态度和意图影响其行为倾向。以往研究发现背外侧前额叶皮层(DLPFC)与风险决策相关,对DLPFC进行高精度直流电刺激(HD-tDCs)可降低个体风险行为倾向。本研究旨在探讨在模拟现实信息风险情境中,阴极HD-tDCs刺激左侧DLPFC对大学生安全行为决策的影响。本研究采用实验法,选取大学生被试76人(男性28人,女性48人),其中20人(男性5人,女性15人)参与实验材料评定。实验采用不同类型的信息安全场景作为实验情境启动,前、后测分别有8个控制场景和10个实验场景,其中实验场景含有信息风险情境和信息安全违规行为。实验要求被试对每个场景中的人物行为进行1-7点评分,每个场景包含5道态度评分和4道意图评分,被试在HD-tDCs刺激前后需分别进行80/100道态度评分和64/80道意图评分。实验中给予所有被试左侧DLPFC电流1.5mA,时长20min的HD-tDCs阴极刺激。预实验对实验情境项目进行修订和删减,所得两种类型场景项目区分度较高(ps阴极刺激后,被试态度评分显著降低(F=63.203,ps阴极刺激显著降低被试对风险情境中信息不安全行为的认同度,并减少其信息不安全的行为倾向。另外,实验结果发现意图评分在实验情境中存在显著性别差异(F=4.836,p=.032)。进行简单效应分析可知,该差异是在控制情境下,女性评分相对低(男性相对高)带来的。进一步讨论表明,现实风险情境中的安全行为决策是一种风险决策。对左侧DLPFC进行HD-tDCs阴极刺激可改变大学生的信息安全行为决策,有效降低大学生在风险情境中的信息不安全行为倾向。但结果在行为意图上的性别差异还需进一步讨论。

Controlled study of conventional surgery and ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy for the treatment of primary sVI of lower limbs

Objective:To compare conventional surgery and ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy for primary superficial venous insufficiency(sVI)with respect to obliteration of superficial venous system,clinical outcome and ***:The study was conducted between september 2005 and March 2006,in surgery department of Christian Medical College Hospital,*** patients with symptomatic primary venous insufficiency of lower limbs requiring definitive management were randomized to conventional surgery(n=30)or ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy(n=30).Obliteration of superficial venous system at 3 months,clinical outcome and costs were ***:superficial venous system was obliterated in all the patients of both the groups at 3 *** in clinical scores and complication rates was similar in both the *** foam sclerotherapy group had less analgesic requirement,earlier return to work and lower ***:Foam sclerotherapy is a cheaper alternative to surgery for primary venous insufficiency with respect to early measures of clinical outcome.
