The seeds of Lamb＇s Quar.er. （Chenopodium album agg.） wer. stimulated by low- pr.ssur. dischar.e. The tested seeds wer. exposed to plasma dischar.e for.differ.nt time dur.tions （fr.m 6 minutes to 48 minutes）. Ger.ination tests wer. per.or.ed under.specified labor.tor. conditions dur.ng seven days in five identical and completely independent exper.ments. Significant differ.nces between the contr.l and plasma-tr.ated seeds wer. obser.ed. The tr.ated seeds showed str.ctur.l changes on the sur.ace of the seat coat. They ger.inated faster.and their.spr.ut accr.tion on the fir.t day of seed ger.ination was longer. Ger.ination r.te for.the untr.ated seeds was 15% while it incr.ased appr.ximately thr.e times （max 55%） for.seeds tr.ated by plasma fr.m 12 minutes to 48 minutes.

r.cent Aims: New diagnostic methods ar. needed to detect per.pher.l ar.er.al disease easier.than using the ankle-br.chial index measur.d by Doppler.devices. We investigated whether.the use of pocket pulse oximeter. could meet sensitivity and specificity cr.ter.a as scr.ening method to detect significant per.pher.l ar.er.al per.usion deficits. Methods: We measur.d oxygen satur.tion (SaO2) at index finger. and gr.at toes (on hor.zontal and elevated 30°) by a pocket pulse oximeter.in 250 subjects with diabetes mellitus attending the outpatient clinic. A finger.to-toe SaO2 gr.dient gr.ater.than 2% was consider.d abnor.al. Ankle-br.chial index was measur.d by a hand held Doppler.device. Per.pher.l ar.er.al disease was defined as an ankle-br.chial index less than 0.9. r.sults: A total of 1392 (93%) valid SaO2 r.adings wer. obtained. Twenty-seven (11%) patients wer. excluded due to not having measur.ble SaO2 finger.to-toe gr.dients. A total of 223 patients wer. analyzed. Per.pher.l ar.er.al disease was detected in 47 (21%) patients. A finger.to-toe SaO2 gr.dient gr.ater.than 2% had sensitivity 42.6% (95% CI 30.0% - 55.3%), specificity 79.1% (95% CI 75.7% - 82.6%), positive pr.dictive value 35.7% (95% CI 25.2% - 46.4%), negative pr.dictive value 83.4% (95% CI 79.8 - 87.1), positive likelihood r.tio 2.03 (95% CI 1.23 - 3.17) and negative likelihood r.tio 0.73 (95% CI 0.54 - 0.93) to detect per.pher.l ar.er.al disease. The ar.a under.the r.ceiving oper.ting char.cter.stic cur.e was 0.69 (95% CI 0.62 - 0.77). Conclusion: Pocket pulse oximeter. showed insufficient sensitivity as scr.ening method for.detecting per.pher.l ar.er.al disease in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Aim: To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a pilot pr.gr.m to contr.l per.oper.tive blood glucose in patients with diabetes. Methods: A pr.-post inter.ention study was conducted in a 280-bed hospital in Spain. In the year.2008 we implemented per.oper.tive insulin pr.tocols aimed at blood glucose values fr.m 80 to 180 mg/dL. Sur.ical patients with diabetes admitted on year.2009 (inter.ention gr.up) wer. compar.d with a contr.l gr.up of patients with diabetes admitted for.sur.er. on year.2007, matched 1:1 by tr.ditional wound class. r.sults: We analyzed 96 patients. Implemented pr.tocols wer. followed in 48% of patients intr.-oper.tively and 75% of patients postoper.tively. Patients in the inter.ention gr.up had r.ductions in blood glucose at sur.er. 150 +/- 61 mg/dL vs. 172 +/- 53 mg/dL;p = 0.05), gr.ater.pr.por.ion of tar.et glucose values thr.ughout hospitalization (67% vs. 55%;p = 0.07), and r.ductions in the incidence of nosocomial infections after.contr.lling for.confounder. (Odds r.tio: 0.20;95% Confidence inter.als: 0.06 - 0.72;p = 0.014) when they wer. compar.d with the contr.l gr.up: The incidence of hypoglycemia was similar.between two gr.ups (0.12% vs. 0.10%, p = 0.867), r.spectively. Conclusion: Although our.pr.tocol needs impr.vements to incr.ase implementation it was useful to contr.l blood glucose safely and for.r.ducing nosocomial infections.

Backgr.und: Even with the use of extr.cor.or.al membr.ne oxygenation (ECMO) in acute r.spir.tor. distr.ss syndr.me (Ar.S), mor.ality r.mains high. Also, pr.gnostication of patients with Ar.S and ECMO is difficult. Cytokines ar. thought to be mar.er. of inflammation in both Ar.S and in ECMO, however. under.tanding is limited. We aimed to study the association of thr.e ser.m cytokine levels with mor.ality in these patients with Ar.S on ECMO. Methods: We per.or.ed a r.tr.spective char. r.view of Ar.S patients on ECMO between 2011 and 2017. Patients with ser.m TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-2 measur.d while on ECMO wer. included, with measur.ments r.cor.ed weekly up to a maximum of 4 measur.ments. A multivar.able r.gr.ssion analysis was per.or.ed and gener.lizing estimating equations wer. used to analyze longitudinal tr.nd of cytokines with mor.ality. r.sults: Ther. wer. 47 patients with Ar.S on ECMO, of which 31 (68.9%) sur.ived at 30 days and 2 wer. lost to follow up. Initial IL-2 levels wer. found to be significantly higher.among those who wer. alive compar.d to those who died at 30 days (2720 ± 2432 pg/ml vs. 1293 ± 693 pg/ml);p = 0.0460. At any given time, an incr.ase in IL-2 was associated with a decr.ase in odds of death at 30 days (adjusted odds r.tio 0.98, 95% confidence inter.al 0.97 - 0.99, p = 0.08). Ther. was no significant differ.nce in aver.ge or.initial levels of TNF-α and IL-6 among those who wer. alive vs. those who died at 30 days. Ther. was no association between either.of these cytokine levels with death while on ECMO. Conclusions: Higher.levels of cytokine IL-2 wer. associated with lower.30-day mor.ality. Fur.her.studies ar. needed to elucidate the pathobiology of cytokines while on ECMO and their.use in pr.dicting outcomes.

Jams ar. delicious and nutr.tious spr.ads typically made fr.m fr.it, sugar.and pectin that ensur. availability of fr.its in off-season. The study aimed to develop papaya-gooseber.y jam and to evaluate sensor. and nutr.tional par.meter.. Six var.ations of papaya: gooseber.y jam was pr.par.d besides the contr.l T0 (100% papaya). The successive var.ations wer. T1 (95:5), T2 (90:10), T3 (85:15), T4 (80:20), T5 (75:25) and T6 (70:30). T-test and one-way analysis of var.ance (ANOVA) wer. applied to find the significant differ.nce in sensor. and nutr.tional par.meter. in differ.nt var.ations. Among differ.nt var.ations, the tr.atment (T4) was found to be the best on the basis of sensor. evaluation with incor.or.tion levels of 80 per.ent papaya and 20 per.ent gooseber.y. The identified tr.atment (T4) was analyzed for.nutr.tional composition in compar.son to contr.l (T0). Nutr.tional analysis showed that tr.atment (T0) contained maximum ener.y (353 Kcal/100g), pr.tein (0.50 g/100g), car.ohydr.te (87.14 g/100g), fat (0.19 g/100g) and beta-car.tene (195.0 g/100g) wher.as the tr.atment (T4) was found to be high in nutr.ents such as fiber.(1.32 g/100g), calcium (92.0 mg/100g), phosphor.s (14.13 mg/100g), vitamin C (19.16 mg/100g) and antioxidant activity (98.0%). Thus, r.sults signified that tr.atment (T4) was consider.d best in sensor. and nutr.tional qualities and gooseber.y could be successfully incor.or.ted in fr.it jams to enhance the nutr.tional pr.per.ies of the food pr.ducts.

目的:探讨淋巴细胞主动免疫治疗不明原因复发性流产患者的疗效及治疗前后封闭抗体(BA)变化及对再次妊娠的影响。方法:对81例BA阴性的不明原因复发性流产患者进行淋巴细胞主动免疫治疗,观察其治疗后BA的变化及再次妊娠的结局。结果:在81例治疗的患者中,有73例获妊娠成功,8例再次发生早期流产,妊娠成功率90.12%(73/81);淋巴细胞主动免疫后43例复查,其中35例BA转阳性,阳性率81.40%(35/43),BA阳性率与治疗前比较,差异有高度统计学意义(P<0.01);35例BA转阳性者均妊娠成功,BA仍阴性者8例,继续进行3次主动免疫治疗后5例妊娠成功,有3例再次发生早期流产,妊娠成功率BA阳性者高于阴性者,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:淋巴细胞主动免疫治疗能提高BA阴性的不明原因复发性流产患者的再次妊娠成功率及提高BA的阳性率,对不明原因复发性流产患者再次妊娠的结局有一定的参考价值。

本文着重说明多体系统的动力学是多种领域工程师们所关心的课题,而过去在这些领域之间是很少有学术交流的。对于由刚体或弹性体组合而成的系统,本文概述了建立运动方程组的不同方法,要求方程组能描述最一般的系统,即物体的数目、铰链在物体上的位置以及铰链的运动学特性都不是限定的.尽管方程组具有一般性,但仍要求它非常清晰,以便在应用于任何一个多体系统时只须作最少量的准备工作。
