The modal analysis of piping system in air conditioner (AC) outdoor unit is essential to investigate the vibration properties of the system. In view of the growing significance of numerical finite element (fE) model for vibration behaviour prediction, the AC piping elastic end support characterization has been explored. The axial and radial stiffness variables (ka, kr1, kr2) of the compressor-piping mounting are obtained and represented by dynamic stiffness of compressor grommet. They are obtained from dynamic load deflection test based on compressor operating condition such as excitation frequency and amplitude. The unknown stiffness variables of the other tube end (chassis-piping mounting) are determined by parameter fine tuning. An experimental modal analysis using impact hammer test has also been employed to determine the vibration properties such as natural frequencies, mode shapes and damping ratio of the piping structures. The modal parameters acquisition using SCADAS mobile acquisition system and LmS impact Testing software is compared with the corresponding simulated modal properties using Abaqus. most of the simulated natural frequencies achieve good correlation with the measured frequencies and it is reasonably a good prediction model to predict vibration behaviour of AC piping structures.

Objective: To investigate matrix metalloproteinases(mmP)-2 and mmP-9 inhibitory effect of Salsola komarovii Iljin, an edible halophyte with health beneficial ***: Salsola komarovii crude extracts(SKI), and solvent(n-hexane, 85% aq. meOH, n-BuOH, and H2O) fractionated extracts of SKI were prepared. Gelatin zymography was carried out to observe mmP enzymatic activity. The release of the mmP enzymes was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Expression of mmPs in m RNA and protein level were investigated by polymerase chain reaction analysis and immunoblotting, ***: SKI and SKI fractions inhibited active mmP-2 and mmP-9 amount in the treated cell culture medium. Also, SKI suppressed the release of mmP-2 and mmP-9 from stimulated HT1080 human fibrosarcoma cells. furthermore, SKI suppressed the m RNA and protein expression of mmP-2 and mmP-9. SKI fractions showed parallel effects except for H2O fraction which did not yield any significant mmP inhibitory effect. Among fractions, 85% aq. me OH was the most active fraction to inhibit both the enzymatic effect and expression of mmP-2 and ***: SKI may contain potential mmP release inhibitory compounds. Salsola komarovii is a promising source of compounds against mmP and could be utilized in the development of antitumor agents.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the development of LT in Eastern Europe. Representatives of gastro- and hepatological societies answered a questionnaire comprising the most descriptive items of the issue of LT until 1998. The Baltic countries, together with 6 southernBalkan countries, moldovia and Belarus have not developed a programme of LT. In Ukraine, 7 LT were performed with 3 early deaths.

The occurrence of vibrational resonance(VR)in a dual-frequency-driven multistable system with a spatially varying mass modelling particle with position-dependent mass(PDm)and evolving in a one-dimensional symmetric periodic potential has been investigated and reported in this *** numerically compute and analyze the response amplitude,the effects of the PDm parameters(m0,a)on the potential structure,the occurrence of VR and the bifurcation of the equilibrium *** is shown that the PDm parameters,besides controlling VR,can induce unconventional resonance patterns through the variation of the potential well *** resonant states can be influenced through the cooperation of the PDm parameters and the external forcing leading the system from multiresonance state into single and double resonance *** contributions of the fixed rest mass m0 on the VR and the PDm-induced resonance are determined by threshold conditions imposed by the magnitude of the mass nonlinear strength a.

In der Studie wurden 20 Patienten mit AV-Reentry Tachykardie unter Einbezug einer mittelseptalen gelegenen atrioventricul ren akzessorischen Leitungsbahn(mS) eingeschlossen, die seit 4 Jahren in unserem Elektrophysiologischen Untersuchungslabor mittels katheters erfolgreich abladiert wurden. Die 20 Patienten hatten 26 akzessorische Leitungsbahnen. Daunter waren 21 mS (rechtsmittelseptal (RmS) zu linksmittelseptal(LmS)=17:4). 18 akzessorische Leitungsbahnen waren offen. Die Lokalisation der akzessorischen Leitungsbahnen wurde aufgrund der Stelle erfolgreich abladiert bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse zeigten, da die RmS und LmS den gleichen Charakter in den meisten Ableitungen des EKGs hatten, und jedoch der wenige Unterschied bei diesen beiden akzessorischen Lritungsbahnen besteht. Wenn die positive Polaritat der Delta Welle in der Ableitung V 1 bei der Patienten mit mS auftritt, mu sich berlegen, ob die m glichkeit der Lokalisation der akzessorischen Leitungsbahn im Linksmittelseptum besteht.

U7 small nuclear RNA （snRNA） sequences have been described only for a handful of animal species in the past. Here we describe a computational search for functional U7 snRNA genes throughout vertebrates including the upstream sequence elements characteristic for snRNAs transcribed by polymerase Ⅱ. Based on the results of this search, we discuss the high variability of U7 snRNAs in both sequence and structure, and report on an attempt to find U7 snRNA sequences in basal deuterostomes and non-drosophilids insect genomes based on a combination of sequence, structure, and promoter features. Due to the extremely short sequence and the high variability in both sequence and structure, no unambiguous candidates were found. These results cast doubt on putative U7 homologs in even more distant organisms that are reported in the most recent release of the Rfam database.

Introduction: Diabetic nephropathy is the most common cause of kidney disease in diabetics. However, in some cases the clinical symptoms is not typical and nephropathy may be different from diabetic and require the use of renal biopsy (RB) which is not usually indicated unless non-diabetic nephropathy (NND) is suspected. The objective of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of non-diabetic nephropathy (NDN) among the diabetic patients and to analyse the different predictive factors of its occurrence. Patients and methods: It was a retrospective, descriptive and analytical study which is carried out at the nephrology department of Aristide Le DANTEC hospital of Dakar over a period of 60 months. Diabetics with suspected NDN diagnosis based on renal anomalie that is associated with a recent diabetes, Acute renal failure with rapid progress, Diabetic retinopathy’s absence, and Extrarenal signs (cutaneous, digestive and articular) associated with an acute renal failure. microscopic haematuria was included. The epidemiological, clinical, biological and histological parameters were collected and analysed using the SPSS, 3.5 version software. Results: Out of 34 biopsied diabetic patients, 12 had NDN that is a prevalence of 35, 3%. The average age was 49.88 ± 4.15 years, 0.78 for the sex-ratio and the mean duration of diabetes is 12.53 ± 4.7 years. Glomerular syndrome was found in 30 patients (88.23%), vascular nephropathy syndrome in 3 patients (8.82%) and tubule-interstitial nephropathy syndrome in only one patient (2.94%). Diabetic retinopathy (DR) and microscopic haematuria (HU) respectively existed in 10 patients (34%) and 15 patients (44. 12%). The Kidney biopsy (KB) indications were renal abnormalities associated with recent diabetes, acute renal failure with rapid progress, absence of DR, extrarenal signs associated with acute renal failure and microscopic haematuria.
