Literature data on gliobla.toma ongoingly underline the link between metabolism and cancer stemness,the la.ter is one responsible for potentiating the resistance to treatment,inter alia due to increased *** recent years,gliobla.toma stemness research has bashfully introduced a key aspect of cytoskeletal rearrangements,whereas the impact of the cytoskeleton on invasiveness is well *** non-stem gliobla.toma cells are less invasive than gliobla.toma stem cells(GSCs),these cells also acquire stemness with greater ease if characterized as invasive cells and not tumor core *** suggests that gliobla.toma stemness should be further investigated for any phenomena rela.ed to the cytoskeleton and metabolism,as they may provide new invasion-rela.ed ***,we proved that interpla. between metabolism and cytoskeleton existed in *** searching for cytoskeleton-rela.ed processes in which the investigated genes might have been involved,not only did we stumble across the rela.ion to metabolism but also reported genes that were found to be implicated in ***,dedicated research on these genes in GSCs seems justifiable and might reveal novel directions and/or biomarkers that could be utilized in the ***,we review the previously identified cytoskeleton/metabolism-rela.ed genes through the prism of gliobla.toma stemness.

Background: Post-hepatectomy liver failure(PHLF) is a leading cause of postoperative mortality after liver surgery. Due to its significant impact, it is imperative to understand the risk stratification and preventative strategies for PHLF. The main objective of this review is to highlight the role of these strategies in a timeline centered way around curative resection. Data sources: This review includes studies on both humans and animals, where they addressed PHLF. A literature search was conducted across the Cochrane Library, Embase, MEDLINE/Pub Med, and Web of Knowledge electronic databases for English la.guage studies published between July 1997 and June 2020. Studies presented in other la.guages were equally considered. The quality of included publications was assessed using Downs and Bla.k’s checklist. The results were presented in qualitative summaries owing to the la.k of studies qualifying for quantitative analysis. Results: This systematic review with 245 studies, provides insight into the current prediction, prevention, diagnosis, and management options for PHLF. This review highlighted that liver volume manipula.ion is the most frequently studied preventive measure against PHLF in clinical practice, with modest improvement in the treatment strategies over the past decade. Conclusions: Remnant liver volume manipula.ion is the most consistent preventive measure against PHLF.

Solid-oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)offer great promise for producing electricity using a wide variety of fuels such as natural gas,coal gas and gasified carbonaceous solids;however,conventional nickel-based anodes face great challenges due to contaminants in readily availa.le fuels,especially sulphur-containing ***,the development of new anode materials that can suppress sulphur poisoning is crucial to the realization of fuel-flexible and cost-effective *** this work,la.(0.1)Sr_(1.9)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)(LSFNM)and Pr_(0.1)Sr_(1.9)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)(PSFNM)materials have been synthesized using a sol-gel method in air and investigated as anode mater-ials for *** nanoparticle-decorated ceramic anodes were obtained by the reduction of LSFNM and PSFNM in H_(2)at 850℃,forming a Ruddlesden-Popper oxide with exsolved FeNi3 bimetallic *** electrochemical performance of the Sr_(2)Fe_(1.4)Ni_(0.1)Mo_(0.5)O_(6-δ)ceramic anode was greatly enhanced by la.doping of A-sites,resulting in a 44%decrease in the pola.ization resistance in reducing *** maximum power densities of Sr-and Mg-doped la.aO_(3)(LSGM)(300μm)electrolyte-supported single cells with LSFNM as the anode reached 1.371 W cm^(-2)in H_(2)and 1.306 W cm^(-2)in 50 ppm H_(2)S-H_(2)at 850℃.Meanwhile,PSFNM showed improved sulphur tolerance,which could be fully recovered after six cycles from H_(2)to 50 ppm H_(2)S-H_(2)*** study indicates that LSFNM and PSFNM are promising high-performance anodes for SOFCs.

Accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound-guided tissue acquisition in the evaluation of lymph nodes enla.gement in the absence of on-site pathologist

AIM To evaluate factors that influence the diagnostic accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound(EUS)-guided tissue acquisition for lymph node enla.gement in the absence of an on-site pathologist. METHODS A retrospective analysis of patients who underwent EUS-guided tissue acquisition for the pathological diagnosis of lymph node enla.gement between April2012 and June 2015 is reported. Tissue acquisition was performed with both cytology and biopsy needles of different calibers. The variables evaluated were lymph node location and size, number of passes and type of needle used. Final diagnosis was based on surgical histopathology or, in non-operated cases, on EUSguided tissue acquisition and imaging assessment with a minimum clinical follow-up of 6 mo. RESULTS During the study period, 168 lymph nodes with a median size of 20.3 mm(range 12.5-27) were sampled from 152 patients. Ninety lymph nodes(53.6%) were located at mediastinum, and 105(62.5%) were acquired with biopsy needles. The final diagnosis was benign/reactive origin in 87 cases(51.8%), malignant in 65 cases(38.7%), and lymphoma in 16 cases(9.5%). The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for the detection of malignancy were 74.1%, 100%, 100% and 80.6%, respectively. The overall accuracy was 87.5%(95%CI: 81.7-91.7). No variables were independently associated with a correct final diagnosis according to the multivariate analysis. CONCLUSION EUS-guided tissue acquisition is a highly accurate technique for assessing lymph node enla.gement. None of the variables evaluated were associated with diagnostic accuracy.

本文运用文献学研究方法对敦煌藏文文献P.T.1066进行了对比研究。该文献是一部由绮立缩阁昔、卓让悉诺多赞、仲董玛漾昔、绕桑截溪赞、属卢盲昔卡尔乌、阿夏达乌底等吐蕃六大相马家撰写的相马术著作,主要记述马的头部及前躯、中段、后躯等的结构,马皮的薄厚、马的性格等。通过与后弘期相关马文献进行对比,表明该文献是吐蕃赞普赤松德赞时期的产物,后世相马术与之具有传承关系,它对研究吐蕃马文化具有重要的史料价值。

Neuro-meningeal Tuberculosis in Adult Senegalese Patients: Profile and Outcome of Cases Diagnosed at a Referral Service, from 2015 to 2020

Background: Among patients treated for tuberculosis, 2% to 5% have a Central Nervous System (CNS) lesion, and its frequency rises to 10% in HIV-infected patients. Neuro-meningeal tuberculosis (NMT) is responsible for death and severe permanent neurological damage. This poor prognosis requires early diagnosis and rapid initiation of specific treatment. Unfortunately, the great clinical polymorphism and the la.k of specificity of radiological and biological signs are frequently responsible for a dela. in diagnosis and management. Senegal is one of the African countries where tuberculosis has remained a concern until now. And there are no studies carried out on this subject. Objective: The objective of this study was to describe the profile and outcome of Neuro-meningeal tuberculosis (NMT) cases diagnosed at the infectious diseases department (SMIT) of Fann University Hospital in Dakar, (referral service for management of tuberculosis). Methods: We carried out a retrospective, descriptive and analytical study, reviewing medical records of adults diagnosed with NMT at the SMIT of Fann Hospital from January 2015 to December 2020. Results: We collected 55 cases of NMT. The median age was 38 years [range 16 - 77 years]. The sex ratio (M/F) was 3.23. HIV patients represented 41.82% of cases. A history of tuberculosis was found in 25.5% of cases. The dela. in consultation was greater than one month in 60% of patients. Headaches were the most constant reason for consultation (94.55%). Meningeal signs were present in 94.55% of patients, and consciousness disorders and intracranial hypertension were present in 63.64% and 56.36% respectively. Nerve palsy was found in 38.18%. CSF was clear in 81.64%. GeneXpert MTB/RIF in CSF was performed in 33 patients and was positive in 4 patients. Brain CT was abnormal in 72.09% of cases.
