With the development of low dielectric permittivity materials having an ultra-low sintering temperature,testing their dielectric properties at terahertz frequencies suitable for 6g communication systems and implementation of the fabricated materials in ultra-low temperature cofired ceramics(ULTCC)were the main goals of the *** tungstate Li_(2)WO_(4)was synthesized by a solid-state reaction and used for the preparation of green tapes and test structures with cofired internal conductive layers,which are destined for substrates of microwave and submillimeter wave *** behavior,thermal effects,and mass changes of the green tapes during heating were studied using a hot-stage microscope,differential thermal analysis,and thermogravimetry.A single-phase composition was revealed for being undoped and doped with AlF3–CaB_(4)O_(7)*** impact of frequency,temperature,the addition of AlF3–CaB_(4)O_(7)and CuBi_(2)O_(4)dopants,and sintering temperature was the subject of in-depth characterization of dielectric properties in a terahertz region.A glass-free composition,ultra-low sintering temperature of 590–630℃,low roughness of the green tapes,dense microstructure,compatibility with Ag conductors,low and stable dielectric permittivity of 5.0–5.8 in a broad range of 0.2–2 THz,and low dielectric loss of 0.008–0.01 at 1 THz are the main advantages of the developed ULTCC substrates.

Objective:To investigate correlates of resistance to g1 nematode infection in Nigerian West African dwarf(WAD) ***:Thirty three sheep were randomly assigned to two groups, A(n=27) which were used for experimental infections,and B(n=6) which served as uninfected *** infected animal received weekly escalating infections with infective larvae(60% Haemonchus contortus(***) and 40%Trichostrongylus colubriformis(***) for 4 *** responses of all the infected and control sheep were assessed by faecal egg count(FEC),worm burden(Wb),packed cell volume(PCV),body weight(Bwt).and body condition score(BCS).On the basis of their individual faecal egg output,lambs in group A with epg≤1 000 on any sampling day were classified as low faecal egg count(LFEC) phenotype(n = 16),those with epg between 1 000 and 10 000 as intermediate(n=5) and lambs with epg > 10 000 as high feacal egg count(HFEC) phenotype(n=6).Results:The difference between the FEC classes was highly significant(P=0.001).The BCS and weight gained at the end of the experiment by the control and LFEC sheep was significandy higher(P≤0.05) than those of the intermediate and HFEC *** was a significant and negative correlation between the parasitological measures and the trio of BCS,PCV and Bwt of ***:The result of the study indicated that the FEC,weight gain,PCV,and BCS are correlates and potential selection crileria of g1 nematode resistant WAD sheep.

Literature data on glioblastoma ongoingly underline the link between metabolism and cancer stemness,the latter is one responsible for potentiating the resistance to treatment,inter alia due to increased *** recent years,glioblastoma stemness research has bashfully introduced a key aspect of cytoskeletal rearrangements,whereas the impact of the cytoskeleton on invasiveness is well *** non-stem glioblastoma cells are less invasive than glioblastoma stem cells(gSCs),these cells also acquire stemness with greater ease if characterized as invasive cells and not tumor core *** suggests that glioblastoma stemness should be further investigated for any phenomena related to the cytoskeleton and metabolism,as they may provide new invasion-related ***,we proved that interplay between metabolism and cytoskeleton existed in *** searching for cytoskeleton-related processes in which the investigated genes might have been involved,not only did we stumble across the relation to metabolism but also reported genes that were found to be implicated in ***,dedicated research on these genes in gSCs seems justifiable and might reveal novel directions and/or biomarkers that could be utilized in the ***,we review the previously identified cytoskeleton/metabolism-related genes through the prism of glioblastoma stemness.

Due to the differences in physical, chemical and mechanical properties of the base metals, the resistance spot welding of dissimilar materials is generally more challenging than that of similar materials. The influence of the primary welding parameters affecting the heat input such as peak current on the morphology, microhardness, and tensile shear load bearing capacity of dissimilar welds between 304 grades austenitic and 7114 grade interstitial free steel has been investigated in this study. The optimum welding parameters producing maximum joint strength were established at a peak current of 9 ka, where the electrode force is kept 6×10^-5 pa and weld time is kept constant 17 cycles, respectively. The primary cause of weakening the weldment is identified as the excessive grain growing region of heat affected zone （HAZ） in case of 7114 grade interstitial free steel.

A high percentage of the world's population lives in areas where air pollutant concentrations exceed the World Health Organization *** work aims to develop and test,a high-resolution multi-scale air pollution modelling system by integrating a set of adequate *** system is able to provide detailed air pollutant concentrations in urban areas and support air quality management strategies through a better identification of different atmospheric *** also allows furthering the design and assessment of air pollution control measures for a specific *** evaluate its performance and suitability,the system was applied to the Macao Special Administrative Region(SAR),China,one of the most densely populated areas on earth,during a winter period when this area is affected by high levels of particulate Matter(PM).Although the developed system tends to underestimate the PM concentrations,it revealed a good performance in reproducing the temporal and spatial air pollution *** exceedances of the Chinese air quality standards were calculated and high population exposure to PM pollution was *** tested urban atmospheric emission reduction scenarios have shown air quality improvements,indicating that emission reduction measures at urban level should focus on the domestic ***,it is crucial to implement joint pollution prevention strategies with neighbouring regions to improve the air quality in Macao *** approach developed in this work can support policymakers in defining new strategies to reduce atmospheric pollution in urban areas.

To evaluate factors that influence the diagnostic accuracy of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided tissue acquisition for lymph node enlargement in the absence of an on-site pathologist. METHODSA retrospective analysis of patients who underwent EUS-guided tissue acquisition for the pathological diagnosis of lymph node enlargement between April 2012 and June 2015 is reported. Tissue acquisition was performed with both cytology and biopsy needles of different calibers. The variables evaluated were lymph node location and size, number of passes and type of needle used. Final diagnosis was based on surgical histopathology or, in non-operated cases, on EUS-guided tissue acquisition and imaging assessment with a minimum clinical follow-up of 6 mo. RESULTSDuring the study period, 168 lymph nodes with a median size of 20.3 mm (range 12.5-27) were sampled from 152 patients. Ninety lymph nodes (53.6%) were located at mediastinum, and 105 (62.5%) were acquired with biopsy needles. The final diagnosis was benign/reactive origin in 87 cases (51.8%), malignant in 65 cases (38.7%), and lymphoma in 16 cases (9.5%). The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for the detection of malignancy were 74.1%, 100%, 100% and 80.6%, respectively. The overall accuracy was 87.5% (95%CI: 81.7-91.7). No variables were independently associated with a correct final diagnosis according to the multivariate analysis. CONCLUSIONEUS-guided tissue acquisition is a highly accurate technique for assessing lymph node enlargement. None of the variables evaluated were associated with diagnostic accuracy.

It is well known that for a Brownian motion, if we change the medium to be inhomogeneous by a measure μ, then the new motion(the time-changed process) will diffuse according to a different metric D(·, ·).In 2009, Kigami initiated a general scheme to construct such metrics through some self-similar weight functions g on the symbolic space. In order to provide concrete models to Kigami’s theoretical construction, in this paper,we give a thorough study of his metric on two classes of fractals of primary importance: the nested fractals and the generalized Sierpinski carpets;we further assume that the weight functions g := ga are generated by“symmetric” weights a. Let M be the domain of a such that Dgadefines a metric, and let S be the boundary of M. One of our main results is that the metrics from ga satisfy the metric chain condition if and only if a ∈ *** determine M and S, we provide a recursive weight transfer construction on the nested fractals, and a basic symmetric argument on the Sierpinski carpet. As an application, we use the metric chain condition to obtain the lower estimate of the sub-gaussian heat kernel. This together with the upper estimate obtained by Kigami allows us to have a concrete class of metrics for the time change, and the two-sided sub-gaussian heat kernel estimate on the fundamental fractals.
