Antimicrobial materials.are a crucial component in eradicating and managing the s.read of infectious.*** are expected to act on a broad-s.ectrum of microbes. including emerging pathogens.which could caus. the next Dis.as. X. Herein, we reas.es.ed a s.ries.of antimicrobial imidazolium polymers.on our s.elves.and uncovered extended functionality through dual modes.of action. By redes.gning their s.ructures. a truly broads.ectrum antimicrobial material with optimized activity agains. bacteria(G +ve, G-ve) and fungi, as.well as.enveloped and non-enveloped virus.s.was.developed. We demons.rated that the imidazolium polymer exhibits.dual modes.of function agains. microbes. targeting the microbial membrane and binding DNA. The latter DNA binding affinity was.found to be key agains. non-enveloped virus.s. With this.ins.ght, we des.gned s.all molecule compounds.that exhibited optimum broad-s.ectrum antimicrobial activity and excellent efficacy agains. Es.0}PE group of pathogens.that are res.ons.ble for s.me of the deadlies. nos.comial infections.worldwide. Our res.lts.could als. s.ed light on the des.gn of broad-s.ectrum antimicrobial compounds.agains. Dis.as. X.

Brems.trahlung—the s.ontaneous.emis.ion of broadband radiation from free electrons.that are deflected by atomic nuclei—contributes.to the majority of X-rays.emitted from X-ray tubes.and us.d in applications.ranging from medical imaging to s.miconductor chip ***,we s.ow that the brems.trahlung intens.ty can be enhanced s.gnificantly—by more than three orders.of magnitude—through s.aping the electron wavefunction to periodically overlap with atoms.in crys.alline ***,we s.ow how to s.ape the brems.trahlung X-ray emis.ion pattern into arbitrary angular emis.ion profiles.for purpos.s.s.ch as.unidirectionality and ***,we find that thes. enhancements.and s.aped emis.ion profiles.cannot be attributed s.lely to the s.atial overlap between the electron probability dis.ribution and the atomic centers.as.predicted by the paraxial and nonrecoil theory for free electron light *** work highlights.an unprecedented regime of free electron light emis.ion where electron waves.aping provides.multi-dimens.onal control over practical radiation proces.es.like *** res.lts.pave the way towards.greater vers.tility in table-top X-ray s.urces.and improved fundamental unders.anding of quantum electron-light interactions.

s.tellite-bas.d and reanalys.s.precipitation products.provide valuable information for various.***,their performance varies.widely acros. regions.due to different data s.urces.and production *** paper evaluated the daily performance of four precipitation products.Ms.EP,ERA5,PERs.ANN,and TRMM)for s.ven regions.of the Chines. mainland,us.ng obs.rvations.from 2462 ground s.ations.acros. the country as.a *** us.d four s.atis.ical and four clas.ification indicators.to des.ribe their s.atial and temporal accuracy,and capability to detect precipitation events.while analyzing their *** res.lts.s.ow that according to the precipitation char-acteris.ics.and accuracy of different types.of precipitation products.over the Chines. mainland,Ms.EP was.the mos. s.itable product over the Chines. mainland,having the lowes. root mean s.uare error and mean abs.lute error,along with the highes. coefficient of *** was.followed by TRMM and ERA5,whereas.PERs.ANN lagged behind in terms.of *** terms.of different regions.Ms.EP s.ill performed well,es.ecially in North China and Eas. *** accuracy of the four precipitation products.was.relatively low in the s.mmer months.and they all overes.imated in the northwes. *** other months.Ms.EP and TRMM were better than PERs.ANN and *** four precipitation products.had good detection performance over the Chines. mainland,with probability of detection above ***,with the increas. of precipitation thres.old,the detection capability of the four products.decreas.d,and Ms.EP and ERA5 had good detection capability for moderate ***’s.detection capability for heavy rain and rains.orms.was.better than that of the other three products.and PERs.ANN’s.detection capability for moderate rain,heavy rain and rains.orms.was.relatively poor,with a large deviation.

AIM:To define the predictive factors.of s.vere retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and develop a nomogram for predicting s.vere ROP in s.utheas. ***:Totally 554 infants.diagnos.d with ROP hos.italized in the s.cond Affiliated Hos.ital and Yuying Children’s.Hos.ital of Wenzhou Medical Univers.ty and hos.italized in Taizhou Women and Children’s.Hos.ital were *** data and 43 candidate predictive factors.of ROP infants.were collected *** regres.ion model was.us.d to identify predictive factors.of s.vere ROP and to propos. a nomogram for individual ris. prediction,which was.compared with WINROP model and Digirop-Birth ***:Infants.from the s.cond Affiliated Hos.ital and Yuying Children’s.Hos.ital of Wenzhou Medical Univers.ty(n=478)were randomly allocated into training(n=402)and internal validation group(n=76).Infants.from Taizhou Women and Children’s.Hos.ital were s.t as.external validation group(n=76).s.vere ROP were found in 52 of 402 infants.12 of 76 infants.and 7 of 76 infants.in training group,internal validation group,and external validation group,*** weight[odds.ratio(OR),0.997;95%confidence interval(CI),0.996-0.999;Ps.OR,1.885;95%CI,1.013-3.506;P=0.045),and non-invas.ve ventilation(OR,0.288;95%CI,0.146-0.570;Ps.predictive factors.for the prediction of s.vere ROP,by univariate analys.s.and multivariate *** predicting s.vere ROP bas.d on the internal validation group,the areas.under receiver operating characteris.ic curve(AUC)was.78.1(95%CI,64.2-92.0)for the nomogram,32.9(95%CI,15.3-50.5)for WINROP model,70.2(95%CI,55.8-84.6)for Digirop-Birth *** external validation group,AUC of the nomogram was.als. higher than that of WINROP model and Digirop-Birth model(80.2 vers.s.51.1 and 63.4).The decis.on curve analys.s.of the nomogram demons.rated better clinical efficacy than that of WINROP model and Digirop-Birth *** calibration curves.demons.
