This paper derives the distribution of the deviation distance to visit an alternative fuel station. Distance is measured as the Euclidean distance on a continuous plane. The distribution explicitly considers the vehicle range and whether the round trip between origin and destination can be made. Three cases are examined: fuel is available at both origin and destination, fuel is available at either origin or destination, and fuel is available at neither origin nor destination. The analytical expressions for the distribution demonstrate how the vehicle range, the shortest distance, and the refueling availability at origin and destination affect the deviation distance. The distribution will thus be useful to estimate the number of vehicles refueled at a station.

Rovers,such as MER and MSL,are sent to Mars and the geology search for the surface is performed by JPL /NASA[1]. MER and MSL are large- sized R overs and have the communication system which can perform direct communication with ground stations on the earth. R over needs to consist of Mars sample return missions currently assumed by this research very lightweight. In this case,the direct communication with the earth of the small rover is difficult. Therefore,communication of rover cannot but serve as a communication system through a lander. Moreover,since it is the opportunity of precious sample extraction,it is necessary to extract the topsoil of various places,and the sample of rock efficiently. Then,it is inquiring about the exploration system using two or more lightweight rovers. This study is about a method of a path planning for a robot( rover)exploration to somehowthe robot can get to the target place,facing fewer problems and also about a way of transmission for do not have a loss of communication due to obstacles. We assume a robot has a transmission device and ensure the communication transmissibility by putting it in the prescribed place on the path. In the path planning,candidate paths including the transmission device position by R R Tare generated and path optimization is carried out by evaluation function. In the simulation,the path taking account of communication transmissibility is planned with using transmission device. The proposed path planning method is confirmed by simulation.

Diabetes mellitus significantly affects the male reproduction and sexual function. In the present study, we investigated the diabetes-induced dysfunction of seminal vesicles （SVs） in the diabetes-rat model and the role of antioxidants. Streptozotocin-induced diabetes after 4 weeks caused smaller size of the organs, hypercontractility, histological abnormalities, increased concentrations of malondialdehyde in the serum and tissue, overexpression of oxidative stress markers, and cleaved caspase-3 as identified by immunohistochemistry in the SVs. In addition, diabetes resulted in deceased levels of serum testosterone and no newborns after the mating studies. Antioxidants significantly normalized all the above parameters, except for the severely decreased serum testosterone levels and the negative outcome of the mating studies. The present study gives evidence for the important role of diabetes-induced oxidative stress in the function and structure of these androgen-dependent organs. Antioxidants may be a promising supplementary therapy for diabetic male patients to alleviate ejaculatory disorders but alone is not efficient treatment for the mitigation of infertility.

The azoospermia factor(AZF)region is important for spermatogenesis,and deletions within these regions are a common cause of oligozoospermia and *** several studies have reported this cause,the present research,to the best of our knowledge,is the first large-scale study assessing this factor in *** this study,1030 male patients with infertility who were examined for Y chromosome microdeletion using the polymerase chain reaction-reverse sequence-specific oligonucleotide(PCR-rSSO)method,a newly developed method for Y chromosome microdeletion screening,were *** study enrolled 250 patients with severe oligospermia and 717 patients with *** the 1030 patients,4,4,10,and 52 had AZFa,AZFb,AZFb+c,and AZFc deletions,*** sperm recovery rate(SRR)of microdissection testicular sperm extraction in patients with AZFc deletions was significantly higher than that in those without AZF deletions(60.0%vs 28.7%,P=0.04).In patients with gr/gr deletion,SRR was 18.7%,which was lower than that in those without gr/gr deletion,but was not statistically *** conclusion,our study showed that the frequency of Y chromosome microdeletion in male patients in Japan was similar to that reported in patients from other countries,and SRR was higher in patients with AZFc deletion.

Drug-induced phototoxicity is elicited by exposure of skin and/or eyes to topical or systemic administration of chemicals,followed by exposure to *** photosafety testing,a new screening strategy,employing in vitro photochemical/photobiological and in vivo cassette-dosing pharmacokinetic(PK)studies,was proposed[1,2].The screening system provided reliable phototoxic predictions of tested chemicals at least within the same chemical series;however,the applicability of the proposed strategy is not fully understood.

A number of preclinical studies have demonstrated anticancer effects for curcumin in various types of tumors,including pancreatic *** has anticancer effects both alone and in combination with other anticancer drugs(e.g.,gemcitabine,5-fluorouracil,and oxaliplatin),and it has been shown to modulate a variety of molecular targets in preclinical models,with more than30 molecular targets identified to *** these various molecules,NF-kB is thought to be one of the primary targets of curcumin *** on these promising preclinical results,several research groups,including our own,have progressed to testing the anticancer effects of curcumin in clinical trials;however,the poor bioavailability of this agent has been the major challenge for its clinical *** the ingestion of gram-level doses of curcumin,plasma curcumin levels remain at low(ng/mL)levels in patients,which is insufficient to yield the anticancer benefits of *** problem has been solved by the development of highly bioavailable forms of curcumin(THERACURMIN),and higher plasma curcumin levels can now be achieved without increased toxicity in patients with pancreatic *** this article,we review possible therapeutic applications of curcumin in patients with pancreatic cancer.

A 72-year-old woman was presented with intermittent claudication of bilateral lower extremities, refractory hypertension, and mild renal impairment. Computed tomographic angiography showed severe aortic stenosis caused by calcifications protruding into the aortic lumen proximal and distal to the visceral and renal branches, so-called coral reef aorta. An axillo-iliac bypass was performed. Postoperatively, the patient developed ileus and acute renal failure, presumably caused by a steal phenomenon to the lower extremities. Endovascular stenting of the aorta increased forward blood flow and dramatically improved the patient’s condition. This case study illustrates potential hemodynamic complications after extra-anatomical axillo-iliac bypass for coral reef aorta.
