Background soy protein supplements,with high crude protein and less antinutritional factors,are produced from soybean meal by different *** study evaluated the comparative effects of various soy protein supplements replacing animal protein supplements in feeds on the intestinal immune status,intestinal oxidative stress,mucosaassociated microbiota,and growth performance of nursery *** Sixty nursery pigs(6.6±0.5 kg BW)were allotted to five treatments in a randomized complete block design with initial BW and sex as *** were fed for 39 d in 3 phases(P1,P2,and P3).Treatments were:Control(CON),basal diet with fish meal 4%,2%,and 1%,poultry meal 10%,8%,and 4%,and blood plasma 4%,2%,and 1%for P1,P2,and P3,respectively;basal diet with soy protein concentrate(SPC),enzyme-treated soybean meal(ESB),fermented soybean meal with Lactobacillus(FSBL),and fermented soybean meal with Bacillus(FSBB),replacing 1/3,2/3,and 3/3 of animal protein supplements for P1,P2,and P3,*** were analyzed using the MIXED procedure in SAS *** The SPC did not affect the BW,ADG,and G:F,whereas it tended to reduce(P=0.094)the ADFI and tended to increase(P=0.091)crypt cell *** ESM did not affect BW,ADG,ADFI,and G:F,whereas tended to decrease(P=0.098)protein carbonyl in jejunal *** FSBL decreased(Psoy protein concentrate,enzyme-treated soybean meal,and fermented soybean meal with Bacillus could reduce the use of animal protein supplements up to 33%until 7 kg body weight,up to 67%from 7 to 11 kg body weight,and entirely from 11 kg body weight without affecting the intestinal health and the growth performance of nursery *** soybean meal with

AIM： Interstitial cells of Cajal （ICCs） are the pacemaker cells that generate slow waves in the gastrointestinal （GI） tract. We have aimed to investigate the involvement of mitochondrial Na^＋-Ca^2＋ exchange in intestinal pacemaking activity in cultured interstitial cells of Cajal. METHODS： Enzymatic digestions were used to dissociate ICCs from the small intestine of a mouse. The whole-cell patch-clamp configuration was used to record membrane currents （voltage clamp） and potentials （current clamp） from cultured ICCs. RESULTS： Clonazepam and CGP37157 inhibited the pacemaking activity of ICCs in a dose-dependent manner. Clonazepam from 20 to 60 μmol/L and CGP37157 from 10 to 30 μmol/L effectively inhibited Ca^2＋ efflux from mitochondria in pacemaking activity of ICCs. The ICsos of clonazepam and CGP37157 were 37.1 and 18.2 μmol/ L, respectively. The addition of 20 μmol/L NiCl2 to the internal solution caused a ＂wax and wane＂ phenomenon of pacemaking activity of ICCs. CONCLUSION： These results suggest that mitochondria Na^＋-Ca^2＋ exchange has an important role in intestina pacemaking activity.

BACKGROUND Hepatitis B virus(HBV) DNA polymerase mutations usually occur to long term use of nucleos(t)ide analogues(NAs), but they can occur spontaneously in treatment-na?ve chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients. 3D solid models for parts with regular-form surfaces (PRFSs) are effectively generated using traditional parametric design techniques. A new model is obtained by changing some parameters defining the model. The parts with free-form surfaces (PFFSs), however, cannot be defined by several parameters. Usually they are defined by some geometric elements like profile curves. The traditional parametric design approaches have not easily dealt with the PFFSs. A method for generating a solid model and an engineering drawing for PFFSs is proposed in this paper: First, the new profiles are generated from input point data. Second, the profile information is extracted from the existing model. Last, the old profiles are replaced with the new profiles. This method can preserve the associative information of the existing model and automatically generate the drawing including views, dimen- sions, and annotations. The proposed method has been implemented using a commercial CAD/CAM system, Unigraphics, and API functions written in C-language, and were applied to the blades of a turbine generator. some illustrative examples are pro- vided in order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Hepatitis B virus(HBV) is a non-cytopathic virus that causes acute and chronic inflammatory liver diseases,often leading to the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Although many studies for the roles of HBV on pathogenesis of the liver diseases,such as non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),hepatic inflammation,cirrhosis,and HCC,have been reported,the mechanisms are not fully understood. Endoplasmic reticulum(ER) and mitochondria have the protective mechanisms to restore their damaged function by intrinsic or extrinsic stresses,but their chronic dysfunctions are associated with the pathogenesis of the various diseases. Furthermore,HBV can affect intraor extracellular homeostasis through induction of ER and mitochondrial dysfunctions,leading to liver injury. Therefore,the mechanism by which HBV induces ER or mitochondrial stresses may be a therapeutic target for treatment of liver diseases.

Room temperature deformation behavior of A1-8Fe-2Mo-2V-1Zr alloy produced by spray forming and subsequent warm-extrusion at 693 K and/or rolling at 423 K was investigated in terms of tensile test and microstructural *** the specimen processed by spray forming and warm extrusion, the microstructure consisting of equiaxed grains with the average grain size of 500 nm in the matrix phase and uniformly dispersed fine intermetallic A13(Fe, Mo, V, Zr) and A16(Fe, Mo, V, Zr) phases less than 100 nm was characterized. It was revealed that subsequent warm rolling after warm extrusion promotes precipitation of a fine dispersoid from the supersaturated matrix phase. Warm rolling was found to be effective to increase the yield and tensile strength in the high strain rate regime. Elongation of the warm rolled specimen showed highe r value than extruded specimen over the whole strain rate region studied.
