This paper proposed the reclosing method in distribution system with battery energy storage system(BESS)using wavelet transform(WT).The proposed method performs the WT of load current and then calculates the absolute value of slope of detail *** mother wavelet used is db4of *** fault clearing is detected using the rapid increase of this *** the detection of fault clearing,the reclosing is *** verify the proposed method,various simulations according to the fault clearing times,fault resistances,and fault lengths are performed using *** simulation results show that fault clearing can be detected using proposed absolute value of slope of detail coefficient and hence the reclosing can be performed successfully.

This study represents a well-dispersed gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)synthesis process via cellulose nanocrystals(CNC)which acts as both reducing and supporting *** synthesis process was ultrafast and completed in a few seconds using microwave *** entire synthesis process was cost-effective,sustainable and *** synthesized(AuNPs/CNC)nanocomposite was investigated by transmission electron microscopy,selected area electron diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,energy dispersive X-ray analysis,X-ray diffraction,and UV–vis *** obtained AuNPs were well accumulated on the CNC surface and had a uniform spherical shape with an average diameter of 8±5.3 *** diameter of AuNPs could be altered by tuning the concentration of CNC *** synthesized AuNPs/CNC nanocomposite film exhibited excellent degradation properties against various organic dyes,namely,Allura red,Congo red,Rhodamine B and *** ultrafast degradation reactions followed pseudo first order *** the catalytic degradation reaction,AuNPs/CNC was transmitting electrons from a donor(NaBH4)to an acceptor(a dye).

Sandwich-type ordered mesoporous carbon/graphene nanocomposites were successfully synthesized using 2D ordered mesoporous silica/graphene nanocomposites as the hard template and an ionic liquid as a N-rich carbon source. We used an ionic liquid of 1-(3-cyanopropyl)-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide containing nitrile groups (–CN) in the cation and anion as a carbon precursor for the preparation of the nanocomposites. Nitriles do not decompose under thermal treatment in an inert gas atmosphere, but leave significant amounts of N-rich carbon materials. The nanocomposites had a large surface area (1,316 m2·g–1), an average pore diameter of 5.9 nm, and high electrical conductivity. The nanocomposite electrode showed a high specific capacitance of 190 F·g–1at 0.5 A·g–1in 1 M TEABF4/AN electrolyte and a good rate capability between 0 and 2.7 V for supercapacitor (or ultracapacitor) applications. The increasing importance of energy efficiency has led to several studies related to the construction of a reliable low voltage DC(LVDC) distribution ***, studies on a protection scheme that considers the fault characteristics of an LVDC distribution system are essential to improve system reliability. When compared to a conventional distribution system, the most distinct feature of an LVDC distribution system is the existence of a capacitive discharge current from converters under a fault condition that results in the prompt operation of protection devices. Therefore, this study involves proposing a precise and rapid technique to identify the fault section in an LVDC distribution system. The technique involves two stages, namely: an analysis stage to analyze the capacitive discharge current and a decision stage to identify the fault section based on the fault type. A detailed discussion of each step is presented and its feasibility is verified based on the results of simulations with an ElectroMagnetic Transients Program and MATLAB~?.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS)is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the degeneration of motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord,leading to muscle weakness,paralysis,and ultimately death(Cleveland and Rothstein,2001).Frontotemporal lobar degeneration(FTLD)is a neurodegenerative disease affecting the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain,leading to changes in behavior,personality,and language(Van Langenhove et al.,2012).Both ALS and FTLD are classified as proteinopathies in which abnormal protein aggregation and accumulation in neurons contribute to the disease *** in sarcoma(FUS)is a DNA/RNA-binding protein involved in various cellular processes,including transcriptional regulation,RNA splicing,and DNA *** in the FUS gene have been linked to familial ALS,highlighting the importance of FUS in the disease pathogenesis(Vance et al.,2009).In ALS and FTLD,aberrant post-translational modifications(PTMs)of FUS,such as phosphorylation,acetylation,and methylation,have been implicated in the promotion of FUS aggregation and neurotoxicity(Choi et al.,2023).Therefore,understanding the regulatory mechanisms of FUS PTMs is crucial for developing targeted therapies against these diseases.

The integration of distributed energy resources(DERs) into distribution networks is becoming increasingly important, as it supports the continued adoption of renewable power generation, combined heat and power plants, and storage systems. Nevertheless, inadvertent islanding operation is one of the major protection issues in distribution networks connected to DERs. This study proposes an intelligent islanding detection method(IIDM) using an intrinsic mode function(IMF)feature-based grey wolf optimized artificial neural network(GWO-ANN). In the proposed IIDM, the modal voltage signal is pre-processed by variational mode decomposition followed by Hilbert transform on each IMF to derive highly involved features. Then, the energy and standard deviation of IMFs are employed to train/test the GWO-ANN model for identifying the islanding operations from other non-islanding events. To evaluate the performance of the proposed IIDM, various islanding and non-islanding conditions such as faults, voltage sag, linear and nonlinear load and switching, are considered as the training and testing datasets. Moreover, the proposed IIDM is evaluated under noise conditions for the measured voltage signal. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed IIDM is capable of differentiating between islanding and non-islanding events without any sensitivity under noise conditions in the test signal.
