Poly[R-3-hydroxybutyrate-co-(R-3-hydroxyvalerate)] (PHBVs) copolymers are promising biopolymers, which could substitute petroleum-based plastics for various applications. PHB and PHBV pellets were processed on a customized 3D printer via Fused Granular Manufacturing (FGM) approach modified with a Mahor screw extruder. To anticipate the behaviour of PHBVs when transformed using conventional thermo-mechanical shaping processes, thermal and mechanical analyses were carried out in order to better understand the effect of annealing temperature on their crystallization behaviour and mechanical properties of PHB polymer and PHBV copolymer. The objectives of the present work were to propose an experimental strategy to study the melting and crystallization events, crystalline structure changes, and mechanical performances of both PHB homopolymer and PHBV copolymer according to identical thermal annealing treatments. A monitoring of 3D printed PHB and PHBV structures was achieved by coupling Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and tensile tests. .

Raw water from the Yantian Reservoir in Southern china was used for this study. Several process parameters of biofiltration, temperature, media, empty bed contact time, ozone dosage and concentration of geosmin and MIB, were adopted in order to determine their effects. Experiments were conducted using the Taguchi method and 9 experiments were needed to obtain the best process parameter settings and parameter effects. The results of these experiments indicate the use of biological filtration as a method of geosmin and MIB removal, to be satisfactory. In addition, the results show that temperature impacts the removal rate of both geosmin and MIB. Useful insights into the effects of the filter media on such as, empty bed contact time, ozone dosage and concentration of geosmin and MIB were also obtained.

Ozone plasma treatment is accessible to be applied on shading adjustment and colour fading because of the capacity of ozone production. It is a green process that treats dyed cotton fabric under dry condition so as to avoid chemical pollutants. This study means to explore colour reflectance of decolourized sulfur dyed cotton texture using ozone plasma treatment. Sulfur dyed cotton textures with various colour depths (0.5%, 1.5%, 2.5%) were set up to be treated different plasma parameters, including ozone air concentrations (10%, 30%, 50%, 70%), water contents in terms of weight percentage (35%, 45%) of fabric and ozone air plasma treatment periods (10 mins, 20 mins, 30 mins). The colour fading result is assessed by the colour reflectance in percentage (R%) utilizing spectrophotometer under CIE standard illuminant D65. The valid colour fading based on high percentage of reflectance was demonstrated from plasma treatment under higher ozone air concentration (50% and 70% ozone in air) and longer time length of plasma treatment (20 mins and 30 mins). The level of water content contained in the cotton fabrics is appeared to have noteworthy relationship with the degree of decolourization.

The Polyhydroxyalkanoates(PHAs) are promising biodegradable materials exhibit similar thermal and mechanical properties as conventional plastics. However, the current production cost for PHAs is high and less application examples were found. In addition, the development of electrospun nanofibrous membrane has attracted more attention in recent years. This study aims to investigate the production of PHAs using dyeing wastewater as the carbon source to reduce the major operation cost and prepare Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate)(PHB)-based fibrous membrane with controlled surface microstructure through electrospinning technique. At the optimal Carbon to Nitrogen(C:N) ratio(100:1) by using dyeing wastewater, the reactor achieved 0.2562 g PHAs from unit mass of activated sludge and 0.0571 g PHAs from unit mass of COD consumed. By using industrial glucose as carbon source adjustment, 1.180 g polymer per 1 RMB could be synthesized at the optimal C:N ratio. As a feasible study, the industrial PHB was used for electropining. The influence of the process parameters(applied electric field, solution flow rate and polymer concentration) on the electrospun fiber microstructure was investigated and optimized in order to achieve smooth, bead-free fibers with diameter range of 1-10 mm. The morphological transition from bead-like microstructure to smooth fiber was investigated under control of three major process parameters: applied voltage increased from 9 kV to 20 kV, flow rate decreased from 5 mL?hr to 0.5 mL?hr and polymer concentration increased from 9 wt% to 15 wt%. It was observed that well-defined fibrous film was achieved at applied electric field of 12 kV, flow rate of 1 mL?hrand solution concentration of 14 wt%. The optimally processed electrospun fibers exhibited large area, continuous network with good distribution of fiber diameter distribution. 目的探討澳門地区人群惡性腫瘤患者行^(99m)Tc-MDP骨掃描的臨床價值。方法回顧性分析澳門地區2005年至2010年期間行骨掃描的389例惡性腫瘤患者,取本組發病率前5位的惡性腫瘤病種進行資料分析,由兼具放射學及核醫學臨床背景的醫師閱讀每例SPECT(SPECT/CT)圖像,然後挑選出骨掃描有陽性發現的病例進行追蹤隨訪,結合病理、影像學或臨床隨訪來驗證診斷結果,得出骨掃描對不同病種骨轉移檢出的準確率以及其解剖學分佈特點,從而分析99m Tc-MDP骨掃描臨床價值。結果389例行骨掃描惡性腫瘤病例中數量居前5位分別為乳腺癌160例、鼻咽癌56例、前列腺癌52例、肺癌36例、大腸癌15例。骨掃描有骨轉移和有隨訪結果的分別為乳腺癌23例、鼻咽癌22例、前列腺癌24例、肺癌22例、大腸癌9例。骨掃描發現骨轉移的準確性為乳腺癌91.3%、鼻咽癌61.5%、前列腺癌66.7%、肺癌90.9%、大腸癌88.9%。各病種骨轉移灶數目常見部位:前列腺癌、肺癌、大腸癌為脊椎>骨盆>肋骨>四肢骨及顱骨,乳腺癌、鼻咽癌為脊椎>肋骨>骨盆>四肢骨,然而鼻咽癌局部顱骨侵犯最常見。結論澳門地區惡性腫瘤患者行骨掃描以乳腺癌、鼻咽癌、前列腺癌、肺癌及大腸癌多見。骨掃描對發現乳腺癌、肺癌及大腸癌骨轉移準確性最高,並以脊柱轉移最多見,而乳腺癌由於解剖關係發生肋骨轉移是第二好發部位。骨掃描對於乳腺癌、肺癌、大腸癌等惡性腫瘤臨床M分期有著重要的價值。
