Raman and Brillouin lasers based on a high-quality(high-Q) whispering gallery mode microresonator(WGMR)are usually achieved by employing a tunable single-frequency laser as a pump source. Here, we experimentally demonstrate visible Raman and Brillouin lasers using a compact microresonator/ZrF4-BaF2-LaF3-AlF3-NaF(ZBLAN)-fiber hybrid system by incorporating a WGMR with a fiber-compatible distributed Bragg reflector/fiber Bragg grating to form a Fabry–Perot(F-P) fiber cavity and using a piece of Pr:ZBLAN fiber as gain *** high-Q silica-microsphere not only offers a Rayleigh-scattering-induced backreflection to form the ~635 nm red laser oscillation in the F-P fiber cavity, but also provides a nonlinear gain in the WGMR itself to generate either stimulated Raman scattering or stimulated Brillouin scattering. Up to six-order cascaded Raman lasers at0.65 μm, 0.67 μm, 0.69 μm, 0.71 μm, 0.73 μm, and 0.76 μm are achieved, respectively. Moreover, a Brillouin laser at 635.54 nm is clearly observed. This is, to the best of our knowledge, the first demonstration of visible microresonator-based lasers created by combining a Pr:ZBLAN fiber. This structure can effectively extend the laser wavelength in the WGMR to the visible waveband and may find potential applications in underwater communication, biomedical diagnosis, microwave generation, and spectroscopy.

Bacterial blight, caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae(Xoo), is one of the most destructive diseases of rice(Oryza sativa L.) worldwide. The type III secretion system(T3SS) of Xoo, encoded by the hrp(hypersensitive response and pathogenicity) genes, plays critical roles in conferring pathogenicity in host rice and triggering a hypersensitive response(HR) in non-host plants. To investigate the major genes conferring the pathogenicity and avirulence of Xoo, we previously constructed a random Tn5-insertion mutant library of Xoo strain PXO99A. We report here the isolation and characterization of a Tn5-insertion mutant PXM69. Tn5-insertion mutants were screened on indica rice JG30, which is highly susceptible to PXO99A, by leaf-cutting *** mutants with reduced virulence were obtained after two rounds of screening. Among them, the mutant PXM69 had completely lost virulence to the rice host and ability to elicit HR in non-host tobacco. Southern blotting analysis showed a single copy of a Tn5-insertion in the genome of PXM69. PCR walking and sequencing analysis revealed that the Tn5 transposon was inserted at nucleotide position 70,192–70,201 in the genome of PXO99A, disrupting the type III hrc(hrp-conserved) gene hrcQ, the first gene in the D operon of the hrp cluster in Xoo. To confirm the relationship between the Tn5-insertion and the avirulence phenotype of PXM69, we used the marker exchange mutagenesis to create a PXO99Amutant, ΔhrcQ::KAN, in which the hrcQ was disrupted by a kanamycin-encoding gene cassette at the same site as that of the Tn5-insertion. ΔhrcQ::KAN showed the same phenotype as mutant PXM69. Reintroduction of the wild-type hrcQ gene partially complemented the pathogenic function of PXM69. RT-PCR and cellulase secretion assays showed that the Tn5-disruption of hrcQ did not affect transcription of downstream genes in the D operon and function of the type II secretion system. The majority of plant disease resistance （R） genes encode proteins that share common structural features. However, the transcription activator-like effector （TALE）-associated executor type R genes show no considerable sequence homology to any known R genes. We adopted a map-based cloning approach and TALE-based technology to isolate and characterize Xa23, a new executor R gene derived from wild rice （Oryza rufipogon） that confers an extremely broad spectrum of resistance to bacterial blight caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae （Xoo）. Xa23 encodes a 113 amino acid protein that shares 50% identity with the known executor R protein XA10. The predicted transmembrane helices in XA23 also overlap with those of XA10. Unlike XalO, however, Xa23 transcription is specifically activated by AvrXa23, a TALE present in all examined Xoo field isolates. Moreover, the susceptible xa23 allele has an identical open reading frame of Xa23 but differs in promoter region by lacking the TALE binding element （EBE） for AvrXa23. XA23 can trigger a strong hypersensitive response in rice, tobacco, and tomato. Our results provide the first evidence that plant genomes have an executor R gene family of which members execute their function and spectrum of disease resistance by recognizing the cognate TALEs in the pathogen.

目的了解“十二五”期间枣阳市碘缺乏病病情和人群碘营养状况，评价干预措施落实情况及效果，为今后防治措施的调整提供科学依据。方法全市按东、西、南、北、中5个方位各抽取1个乡（镇）、每个乡（镇）抽取4个行政村，每个行政村抽检15户居民家中食盐，定量检测盐碘含量；在所抽取的乡（镇）各抽取1所乡中心小学，每所小学采集40名8～10岁儿童（男、女各半）的尿样，检测尿碘含量，并用触诊法检查儿童甲状腺肿大情况；在所抽取的乡（镇）各采集20名孕妇的尿样和家中食盐，检测尿碘和盐碘含量；每个乡（镇）在开展尿碘含量检测的孕妇中，各抽取10人进行人户问卷调查，了解孕妇碘缺乏病健康教育知晓情况。结果共采集居民户食用盐300份，盐碘中位数为21．2mg／kg，碘盐覆盖率为97．7％（293／300），合格碘盐食用率为90.3％（271／300）；共采集儿童尿样200份，尿碘中位数为232．4μg／L；共采集孕妇尿样100份，尿碘中位数为232．9μg/L；调查8～10岁儿童甲状腺200人，甲状腺肿大率为3．0％（6／200）；问卷调查孕妇50名，知晓率为82．0％（41／50）。结论“十二五”期间枣阳市已达到持续消除碘缺乏病标准，儿童碘营养超适宜与孕妇碘营养不足状态依然存在。建议进一步加大碘盐市场的管理和碘缺乏病宣传力度，精准调整食盐加碘标准，确保各类人群处于碘适宜状态。

许多黄单胞杆菌通过Ⅲ型分泌系统将效应子注入到寄主细胞中,引起寄主的免疫反应或感病。最近的研究提供了大量的关于Ⅲ型效应子作为致病因子或激发子同寄主互作的实验数据。笔者综述了黄单胞杆菌Ⅲ型效应子的分类及avrbs3、AvrRxv/YopJ、XopN、XopD家族的主要功能,重点介绍了Ⅲ型效应子的酶活性功能在同寄主互作过程中发挥的重要作用,如XopD的SUMO化作用;AvrBs3家族效应子在调节寄主基因转录方面的作用;XopN抑制PAMP介导的植物免疫反应的功能等。论文还对一些研究深入的Ⅲ型效应子及其与寄主的互作进行了比较详细的评述,讨论Ⅲ型效应子的研究对于植物抗病基因工程的影响及重要意义,并对Ⅲ型效应子的研究方向进行了展望。
