In this paper,the effects of gamma irradiation on Cast poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate)(PHBV)and PHBV/Cloisite 30B(C30B)(3 wt%)bionanocomposite prepared by melt compounding,were evaluated at various doses,i.e.,5,15,20,50 and 100 kGy at room temperature in *** in molecular weight,morphology and physical properties were *** study showed that the main degradation mechanism occurring in gamma irradiation in both Cast PHBV and C-PHBV/3C30B bionanocomposite is chain scission,responsible for the decrease of molecular *** scanning calorimetry(DSC)data indicated a regular decrease in crystallization temperature,melting temperature and crystallinity index for all irradiated samples with increasing the ***,DSC thermograms of both Cast PHBV and PHBV bionanocomposite exhibited double melting peaks due probably to changes in the PHBV crystal *** and DMA data showed a reduction in Young’s modulus,strength,elongation at break and storage modulus with the radiation dose;the decrease was however more pronounced for Cast *** morphological damages were much less pronounced for the PHBV bionanocomposite sample compared to Cast PHBV,for which some irregularities and defects were observed at 100 *** study highlighted the ability of C30B to counterbalance the detrimental effect of radiolytic degradation on the functional properties of PHBV up to 100 kGy,thus acting as a potential anti-rad.

This paper deals with a stochastic approach based on the principle of the maximum entropy to investigate the effect of the parameter random uncertainties on the arterial pressure. Motivated by a hyperelastic, anisotropic, and incompressible constitutive law with fiber families, the uncertain parameters describing the mechanical behavior are considered. Based on the available information, the probability density functions are attributed to every random variable to describe the dispersion of the model parameters. Numerous realizations are carried out, and the corresponding arterial pressure results are compared with the human non-invasive clinical data recorded over a mean cardiac cycle. Furthermore, the Monte Carlo simulations are performed, the convergence of the probabilistic model is proven. The different realizations are useful to define a reliable confidence region, in which the probability to have a realization is equM to 95%. It is shown through the obtained results that the error in the estimation of the arterial pressure can reach 35% when the estimation of the model parameters is subjected to an uncertainty ratio of 5%. Finally, a sensitivity analysis is performed to identify the constitutive law relevant parameters for better understanding and characterization of the arterial wall mechanical behaviors.

The effects of accelerated photooxidation on the molecular weight and thermal and mechanical properties of Cast PHBV and PHBV/Cloisite 30B(3 wt%)bionanocomposites are investigated *** size exclusion chromatography(SEC)analysis,a significant decrease in both weight and number average molecular weights was observed for all irradiated samples over time,resulting from the chain scission *** scanning calorimetry(DSC)data indicated a decrease in degree of crystallinity and melting temperature after UV exposure,with the appearance of double melting peaks related to the changes in the crystal structure of *** stability,tensile and thermo-mechanical properties were also reduced consecutively in photooxidation,being more pronounced for Cast *** study shows that the incorporation of Cloisite 30B in PHBV provides a better resistance to photooxidation in comparison with the neat polymer.

The seminal vesicles of adult sand rat contain a major secretory protein band （MW 21 kDa） designated as Psammomys obesus seminal vesicles protein of 21 kDa （POSVP21）. This protein is abundant in secretions, regulated by androgens and also present in the vaginal plug. POSVP21 accounts for over 22.3% of soluble proteins from homogenate during the breeding season, 13.3% during the middle season and 5.3% during the hormonal regression season. It is absent during the non-breeding season. POSVP21 is localized in the cytoplasm of epithelial cells and in secretory products in the lumen. It presents an immunological homology with two epididymal proteins with the same molecular weight and a high degree of homology with transgelin from rat （Rattus norvegicus）.

syndrome （BCS） and identify the aetiologies of thisdisease in ***： Patients with BCS, hospitalised in our unitfrom January 2004 until June 2010 were included and theaetiological factors were assessed. Patients presentinga BCS in the setting of advanced-stage cirrhosis or aliver transplantation were excluded from the study. Thediagnosis was established when an obstruction of hepaticvenous outflow （thrombosis, stenosis or compression）was demonstrated. We diagnosed myeloproliferativedisease （MPD） by bone marrow biopsy and V617FJAK2 mutation. Anti-phospholipid syndrome （APLS） wasdetected by the presence of anticardiolipin antibodies,anti-β2 glycoprotein antibodies and Lupus *** also detected paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria（PNH） by flow cytometry. Celiac disease and Beh？etdisease were systematically investigated in our *** anticoagulant protein deficiencies were alsoassessed. We tested our patients for the G20210Amutation at Beaujon Hospital. Imaging procedures wereperformed to determine a local cause of BCS, such as ahydatid cyst or a liver ***： One hundred and fifteen patients wereincluded. Mean follow up： 32.12 mo. Mean age： 34.41years, M/F = 0.64. Chronic presentation was frequent：63.5%. The revealing symptoms for the BCS wereascites （74.8%） and abdominal pain （42.6%）. Themost common site of thrombosis was the hepatic veins（72.2%）. Involvement of the inferior vena cava alonewas observed in 3 patients. According to the radiologicalinvestigations, BCS was primary in 94.7% of the cases（n = 109） and secondary in 5.2% （n = 6）. An aetiologywas identified in 77.4% of the patients （n = 89）; itwas multifactorial in 27% （n = 31）. The predominantaetiology of BCS in our patients was a myeloproliferativedisease, observed in 34.6% of cases. APLS was foundin 21.7% and celiac disease in 11.4%.
