Time‐varying matrix inversion is an important field of matrix research,and lots of research achievements have been *** the process of solving time‐varying matrix inversion,disturbances inevitably exist,thus,a model that can suppress disturbance while solving the problem is *** this paper,an advanced continuous‐time recurrent neural network(RNN)model based on a double integral RNN design formula is pro-posed for solving continuous time‐varying matrix inversion,which has incomparable disturbance‐suppression *** digital hardware applications,the corresponding advanced discrete‐time RNN model is proposed based on the discretisation *** a result of theoretical analysis,it is demonstrated that the advanced continuous‐time RNN model and the corresponding advanced discrete‐time RNN model have global and exponential convergence performance,and they are excellent for suppressing different ***,inspiring experiments,including two numerical experiments and a practical experiment,are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the advanced discrete‐time RNN model for solving discrete time‐varying matrix inversion with disturbance‐suppression.

Background: The early stage of forest succession following disturbance is characterized by a shift in songbird composition as well as increased avian richness due to increased herbaceous growth in the forest understory. However, regeneration of woody species eventually outcompetes the herbaceous understory, subsequently shifting vegetation communities and decreasing availability of vital foraging and nesting cover for disturbance-dependent birds, ultimately resulting in their displacement. These early stages following forest disturbance, which are declining throughout the eastern United States, are ephemeral in nature and birds depend on such disturbances for nesting and other purposes throughout their ***: We investigated the use of a two-stage shelterwood method to manage long-term persistence of seven early successional songbirds over a 13-year period in an upland hardwood forest within the southern end of the midCumberland Plateau in the eastern United ***: Canopy and midstory gaps created after initial harvest were quickly exploited by tree growth and canopy cover returned to these areas, accelerating the displacement of early-successional species. Woody stem densities increased substantially following stage two harvest as advanced tree regeneration combined with the re-opening of the overstory layer increased resource competition for early-successional plants in the understory. Carolina Wren(Thryothorus ludovicianus), Eastern Towhee(Pipilo erythrophthalmus), Indigo Bunting(Passerina cyanea), and Yellowbreasted Chat(Icteria virens) were characterized by immediate increases following initial harvest in 2001; while the American Goldfinch(Spinus tristis), Prairie Warbler(Setophaga discolor), and White-eyed Vireo(Vireo griseus) did not show an immediate response. Objective:To evaluate whether there would be a difference in outcome when the smaller ultra-mini 12 Fr sheath was used instead of the mini 16 Fr sheath for percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL)in paediatric patients for stones less than 25 ***:This was a prospective cohort study of patients who underwent PCNL in our hospital in a 2-year period from July 2016 to June 2018 by a single *** was performed in a prone position and tract was dilated to the respective size using single step *** was used to fragment the ***-free outcome was defined as absence of stone fragment at 3 months on kidney,ureter,and bladder ***:There were 40 patients in each *** stone size was comparable between the two groups(14.5 mm vs.15.0 mm).The procedure was completed faster in the 16 Fr group compared to 12 Fr group(24.5 min vs.34.6 min).Stone clearance was highly successful in both groups(97.5%vs.95.0%).There was no difference in complications between the two *** decrease in hemoglobin was minimal in both groups(0.2 g/dL vs.0.3 g/dL).Conclusion:We found that the success rates were similar in both mini PCNL and the smaller ultra-mini PCNL *** significant difference in bleeding was noted in our pilot study,however,operative time was longer in the ultra-mini group as compared to the mini sheath group.

We describe briefly here the recent R&D activities in the optical subassembly packaging technologies at the Hong kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI). We have designed, developed and prototyped multiple of low-cost high performance packages for serial and parallel transmitters and receivers, in particular, the novel chip-in-plastic (CiP) package designed for 10G serial transmission for data communications.

Pedotransfer functions （PTFs） have been developed to estimate soil water retention curves （SWRC） by various techniques. In this study PTFs were developed to estimate the parameters （θs, θr, α and λ） of the Brooks and Corey model from a data set of 148 samples. Particle and aggregate size distribution fractal parameters （PSDFPs and ASDFPs, respectively） were computed from three fractal models for either particle or aggregate size distribution. The most effective model in each group was determined by sensitivity analysis. Along with the other variables, the selected fractal parameters were employed to estimate SWRC using multi-objective group method of data handling （mGMDH） and different topologies of artificial neural networks （ANNs）. The architecture of ANNs for parametric PTFs was different regarding the type of ANN, output layer transfer functions and the number of hidden neurons. Each parameter was estimated using four PTFs by the hierarchical entering of input variables in the PTFs. The inclusion of PSDFPs in the list of inputs improved the accuracy and reliability of parametric PTFs with the exception of ~s- The textural fraction variables in PTF1 for the estimation of a were replaced with PSDFPs in PTF3. The use of ASDFPs as inputs significantly improved a estimates in the model. This result highlights the importance of ASDFPs in developing parametric PTFs. The mCMDH technique performed significantly better than ANNs in most PTFs.

The design and operation features of the automatic data acquisition system for the low latitude ionospheric tomography along the 120°E meridian are presented. The system automatically collects the differential Doppler phase data,and GPS satellite beacon signal is simultaneously collected to achieve time synchronization of all receivers in whole station chain. An improved reconstruction algorithm of computerized ionospheric tomography is also proposed, in which calculating of the integral phase constant and choosing of the initial guess are integrated in the procedure of reconstruction and evaluated by the reconstructed image. Both numerical simulation examples and reconstructed results from observed data show that the new algorithm works reasonably and effectively with ionospheric CT problems.

A viable option for increasing nitrogen (N) use efficiency and mitigation of negative impacts of N on the environment is to capitalize on multi-element interactions through implementation of nutrient management programs that provide balanced nutrition. Numerous studies have demonstrated the immediate efficacy of this approach in the developing regions like China and India as well as developed countries in North America. Based on 241 site-years of experiments in these countries, the first-year N recovery efficiency (RE) for the conventional or check treatments averaged 21% while the balanced treatments averaged 54% RE, for an average increase of 33% in RE due to balanced nutrition. Effective policies to promote adoption are most likely those that enable site-specific approaches to nutrient management decisions rather than sweeping, nation-wide incentives supporting one nutrient over another. Local farmers, advisers and officials need to be empowered with tools and information to help them define necessary changes in practices to create more balanced nutrient management.
