First evidence of a structure in the J/ψΛinvariant mass distribution is obtained from an amplitude analysis of■b^(-)J/ψΛk^(-)*** observed structure is consistent with being due to a charmonium pentaquark with strangeness with a significance of 3.1r including systematic uncertainties and lookelsewhere *** mass and width are determined to be 4458:8±2:9t4:7-1:1 MeV and 17:3±6:5t8:0-5:7 MeV,respectively,where the quoted uncertainties are statistical and *** structure is also consistent with being due to two *** addition,the narrow excited■^(-)states,N■(1690)and■(1820),are seen for the first time in a■b^(-)decay,and their masses and widths are measured with improved *** analysis is performed using pp collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb^(-1),collected with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7,8 and 13 TeV.

角质层是皮肤屏障作用的最主要部分,它决定了外界物质对皮肤的渗透情况.在假设角质层细胞为一种三维的十四面体(物理学经典的tetrakaidecahedron体)的情况下,利用有限元法对角质层渗透性质进行了数值模拟研究.为此,首先完成了对角质层空间结构的网格拆分,拆分过程分两步进行:1.对角蛋白细胞的网格拆分;2.对角蛋白细胞周围的网状脂质体的网格拆分.在数值模拟过程中,则用有限元法得到方程离散的格式,用多重网格算法降低高频误差,提高计算精度.最后,给出了数值模拟结果的可视化效果图.

Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis is an infectious agent that occurs in small ruminants causing caseous lymphadenitis, and more rarely in humans causing lymphadenitis and pneumonia. The breeding small ruminants have great economic importance in Brazil. Rural farm workers and veterinary students who acquired this disease suffered from weakening symptoms for weeks, and the identification of the etiological agent was time-consuming and complex. Due to the low prevalence of case records, there is probably no available commercial diagnostic kit for C. pseudotuberculosis infection in humans. This study aimed to describe human seroreactivity to secreted antigens from C. pseudotuberculosis. Reactivity of serum from farm workers (n = 14), individuals who work with the bacillus at laboratory (n = 8) or individuals without contact (n = 25) was tested with secreted proteins from PAT10 strain of C. pseudotuberculosis by Western blotting. samples of all (100%) farm workers showed reactivity to 31 kDa, 71 kDa and 164 kDa proteins, while laboratory workers showed 87.5%, 62.5 % and 37.5%, and no-contact 20%, 0% and 16%, respectively. All sera recognized the 275 kDa protein. Our data suggest that C. pseudotuberculosis secreted proteins are antigenic in humans and the recognition profiles allowed the identification of individuals with and without prior contact with this bacillus. This is the first paper which describes human reactivity to C. pseudotuberculosis in serum samples of workers in Brazil.

strong>Aim:strong> To carry out a 3D vector reconstruction of the typical cervical vertebra from anatomical sections of the “korean Visible Human” for educational purposes. strong>Material and Methods:strong> The anatomical subject was a 33-year-old korean man who died of leukemia. He was 164 cm tall and weighed 55 kg. This man donated his body to science. Her body was frozen and cut into several anatomical sections after an MRI and CT scan. These anatomical sections were made using a special saw called a 0.2 mm thick cryomacrotome. Thus 8100 cuts were obtained. Only the sections numbered 940 to 1200 were used for our study. A segmentation by manual contouring of the different parts of the typical cervical vertebra was made using the software Winsurf version 3.5 on a laptop PC running Windows 7 equipped with a Ram of 8 gigas. strong>Results:strong> Our 3D vector model of the typical cervical vertebra is easily manipulated using the Acrobat 3DPDF interface. Each part of the vertebra accessible in a menu can be displayed, hidden or made transparent, and 3D labels are available as well as educational menus for learning anatomy. strong>Conclusion: strong>This original work constitutes a remarkable educational tool for the anatomical study of the typical cervical vertebra and can also be used as a 3D atlas for simulation purposes for training in therapeutic gestures.

Chagas disease, or American trypanosomiasis, is a parasitic infection caused by the flagellate protozoanTrypanosoma cruzi. Chagas disease is mainly affecting rural populations in Mexico and Central and south America. The World Health Organization estimates that 300 000 new cases of Chagas disease occur every year and approximately 20 000 deaths are attributable to Chagas. However, this organisation classified Chagas disease as a neglected tropical disease. The economic burden of this disease is significant. In many Latin American countries, the direct and indirect costs, including the cost of health care in dollars and loss of productivity, attributable to Chagas disease ranges from $40 million to in excess of $800 million per nation per annum. so, it remains a contemporary public health concern. In chronic phase, mortality is primarily due to the rhythm disturbances and congestive heart failure that result from the chronic inflammatory cardiomyopathy(CCC) due to the persistence presence of parasites in the heart tissue. Mechanisms underlying differential progression to CCC are still incompletely understood. In the last decades immunological proteomic genetic approaches lead to significant results which help to disperse the veil covering the knowledge of the pathogenic process. Here, we reported these significant progresses.
