目的本研究旨在确定护士对家属在场时实施复苏的自信心与实践之间的关系,并描述护士对相关情形的偏好。方法采用横断面调查方法,研究对象来自肯尼亚西阿亚县转诊医院内外科不同单元。采用匿名自填问卷进行调查,主要测量工具为Twibel等设计的家属在场自信量表(Family presence Self-confi-dence Scale)。采用χ^(2)检验和二元回归分析进行统计学分析。结果护士对家属在场时实施复苏操作的自信心与实践存在关联(χ^(2)=8.060,p=0.01)。非常自信的护士在临床实践中实施家属在场情况下复苏操作的可能性是有点自信的护士的4.9倍(OR=4.94,95%CI 1.07~22.71)。结论护士对实施家属在场复苏操作的自信心差异较大。为成功实施家属在场复苏实践,护士还需通过更多专门培训和实践获得更高水平的自信心。

Introduction Ectopic pregnancy(Ep)poses significant health risks,particularly in developing nations,necessitating improved diagnostic *** study aimed to explore potential biomarkers for Ep *** A case-control study was conducted at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research,Chennai,Tamil *** included 140 Ep cases and 140 pregnant controls,aged 19-38 years,attending routine *** samples were analysed for beta-human chorionic gonadotropin,progesterone,soluble tms-like tyrosine kinase-1(sFLT-1)and eight microRNAs(miRs).Results Ditferential expression of biomarkers was observed in Ep *** miRs(hsa-miR-141,hsa-miR-218,hsa-miR-519d and hsa-miR-873)were downregulated,and four miRs(***-miR-517a,hsa-miR-523 and hsa-miR-323-3p)were *** significant expression fold changes were noted(ppt for hsa-miR-141 and ***-519d exhibited promising diagnostic potential with the highest specificity(97.1%)and a sensitivity of 47.1%.sFLT-1,as an individual marker,demonstrated a sensitivity of 98.6% and a specificity of 90%.The combination of sFLT-1 and miR-519d significantly enhanced the sensitivity to 100% with a specificity of 87.1%.Conclusions The combination of miR-519d and sFLT-1 emerges as a promising diagnostic tool for Ep,offering a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 87.1%.These findings underscore the potential of biomarker-based approaches in improving Ep diagnosis,especially in resource-limited *** validation and clinical implementation studies are warranted to corroborate these findings and enhance Ep management strategies.

keratoconjunctivitis in sheep causes severe ocular irritation thereby reducing the production performance thus causing economic loss to the farmers. Bacterial cause of keratoconjunctivitis in sheep may be due to Listeria monocytogenes, Moraxella ovis, Mycoplasma conjunctivae, etc. An investigation carried out at Tirupathur, Sivagangai district, Tamil Nadu, India revealed keratoconjunctivitis in sheep (population 100 animals). Isolation and identification of eye swabs from ailing animals (n = 5) showed that the bacteria was Moraxella sp. polymerase chain reaction (pCR) of the isolate was positive for Moraxella sp. Antimicrobial sensitivity testing of the isolate showed that it was sensitive to all antibiotics used in the study. This study reports the presence of Moraxella sp. infection in sheep warranting further studies to know the exact status of this organism so as to prevent keratoconjunctivitis in sheep.

In this work, the COSMO-RS （conductor like screening model for real solvent） model algorithm was derived from the modified Rachford rice method. It could be more helpful to investigate the phase behavior of binary systems with the help of quantum chemical calculation at 6-31G＊ basis set. COSMO-RS was used to predict solubility of binary mixture involving non-ILs （ionic liquids）, and ILs systems are： benzyl ethylamine ＋ glycerol system （Type-Ⅰ）, nitro methane ＋ cyclohexane system （Type-Ⅱ）, dipropylamine ＋ water system （Type-Ⅲ）, 1,2-ethanediol ＋ thiophene system （Type-Ⅳ）, [1,2-DMIM] [salicylate] ＋ thiophene （Type-Ⅳ）, and [EMIM] [NO3] ＋ thiophene （Type-Ⅳ）. Totally 15 cations with 27 anions were used for generating 405 binary LLE （liquid liquid equilibrium） systems involving thiophene. However, the predicted COSMO-RS values are consisting with the reported experimental values. Furthermore, the immiscibility gap at 298.15 k was determined and compared for various ILs. It was found that l-butylpyrrolidinium, l-octylquinolinium, 1-octylpyridinium and 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium based cations are most suitable for thiophene extraction from any liquid mixture.

Development of food service institution has been initiated by industrialization and has grown rapidly over the last half century. Institutional Food Service includes planning, preparation, distribution and supply of foods outside home. Consumer perceptions towards institutional foods are influenced by marketing, advertising and lifestyle changes. Food service systems/catering units promote new processing methods and bulk packaging of food to conquer problems like skilled labour shortage and reduce the operation cost. This review emphasize on the evolution of food services (vending, industrial food services, school lunch, hospital etc.) and its importance. It also highlights the attributes for making institutional foods more acceptable for consumers and their role of human engineering.
