Spinal cord injury remains a major cause of disability in young adults,and beyond acute decompression and rehabilitation,there are no pharmacological treatments to limit the progression of injury and optimize recovery in this *** the thorough investigation of the complement system in triggering and propagating cerebral neuroinflammation,a similar role for complement in spinal neuroinflammation is a focus of ongoing *** this work,we survey the current literature investigating the role of complement in spinal cord injury including the sources of complement proteins,triggers of complement activation,and role of effector functions in the *** study relevant data demonstrating the different triggers of complement activation after spinal cord injury including direct binding to cellular debris,and or activation via antibody binding to damage-associated molecular *** effector functions of complement have been implicated in spinal cord injury,and we critically evaluate recent studies on the dual role of complement anaphylatoxins in spinal cord injury while emphasizing the lack of pathophysiological understanding of the role of opsonins in spinal cord *** this pathophysiological review,we systematically review the different translational approaches used in preclinical models of spinal cord injury and discuss the challenges for future translation into human *** review emphasizes the need for future studies to dissect the roles of different complement pathways in the pathology of spinal cord injury,to evaluate the phases of involvement of opsonins and anaphylatoxins,and to study the role of complement in white matter degeneration and regeneration using translational strategies to supplement genetic models.

In this paper,we develop the teleportation scheme in[Zheng in Phys Rev A 69,064302,2004],in the sense that,we work in the strong atom-field coupling regime wherein the rotating wave approximation(RWA)is no longer *** achieve the purpose,a scheme consisting of a qubit interacting with a single-mode quantized field is described via the Rabi model(counter rotation terms are taken into account).Our first aim is to teleport an unknown atomic state of a qubit(which interacts with the quantized field in a cavity)to a second qubit(exists in another distant cavity field),beyond the RWA and without the Bell-state measurement *** the continuation,in a similar way,we teleport an unknown state of a single-mode field *** fact,it is shown that,in this regime,after applying some particular conditions,containing the interaction time of atom-field in the cavities,adjusting the involved frequencies,as well as the atom-field coupling in the model,if a proper measurement is performed on the state of the first qubit(the related field in the cavity),the unknown states of the qubit(field)can be teleported from the first qubit(cavity field)to the second qubit(cavity field),*** show that in both considered cases,the teleportation protocol is successfully performed with the maximum possible fidelity,1,and the acceptable success probability,0.25.

the dihydrated potassium yttrium diphosphate, kYP2O7·2H2O, has been synthesized for the first time. Single-crystal XRD study has allowed the determination of its structure and correct formula. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c, with the cell parameters a = 7.7069（3）, b = 10.5801（4）, c = 10.0204（5）A,β = 93.24（3）A, V= 815.76（6）A^3, Z= 4, mr = 337.98, f（000） = 656, Dc = 2.752 g/cm^3 and/t = 8.073 mm^-1. the single-crystal structure was solved from 1856 unique reflections with the final R = 0.0365 and wR = 0.0772, refined with 119 parameters. the atomic arrangement of kYP2O7·2H2O is built by the P2O7 groups, the YO7 and the kO10 polyhedrons which are connected by corner and edge-sharing to form a three-dimensional framework. Water molecules are directly bonded to the Y and k atoms, and they are located in channels running along the a direction.

In this work,we first use momentum density studies to understand strongly correlated electron behavior,which is typically seen in transition metal *** observe that correlated electron behavior as seen in bulk NiO is due to the fermi break located in the middle of overlapping spectral functions obtained from a GW（G is Green’s function and W is the screened Coulomb interaction） approximation（GWA） calculation while in the case of tiO2 we can see that the origin of the constant momentum distribution in lower momenta is due to a pile up of spectra before the fermi *** observations are then used to compare our calculated Compton profiles with previous experimental studies of fukamachi and *** calculations for NiO are observed to follow the same trend as the experimental profile but it is seen to have a wide difference in the case of tiO2 before the fermi *** ground state momentum densities differ significantly from the quasiparticle momentum density,thus stressing the importance of the quasiparticle wave function as the input for the study of charge density and the electron localization *** we perform a calculation of the quasiparticle renormalization function,giving a quantitative description of the discontinuity of the GWA momentum density.

Objective:to determine the prevalence and risk factors associated with drug resistance tuberculosis(tB) at facility-base level in tanga,***:A total of 79 mycobacterium tuberculosis(mtB) isolates included in the study were collected from among372(312 new and 60 previously treated) tB suspects self referred to four tB clinics during a prospective study conducted from November 2012 to January *** and drug susceptibility test of the isolates was performed at the institute of medical microbiology and epidemiology of infectious diseases,University hospital,Leipzig,*** on the patient's characteristics were obtained from structured questionnaire administered to the patients who gave informed verbal *** bivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to assess the risk factors for drug *** significance level was determined at Pthe overall proportions of any drug resistance and mDRtB were 12.7%and 6.3%*** prevalence of any drug resistance and mDRtB among new cases were 11.4%and 4.3%respectively,whereas among previously treated cases was 22.2%*** treated patients were more likely to develop anti-tB drug *** was no association between anti-tB drug resistances(including mDRtB) with the risk factors ***:High proportions of anti tB drug resistance among new and previously treated cases observed in this study suggest that,additional efforts still need to be done in identifying individual cases at facility base level for improved tB control programmes and drug resistance survey should continuously be monitored in the country.

We investigate the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model for a two-dimensional laminar boundary layer flow of an incompressible Oldroyd-B fluid over a linearly stretching sheet. mathematical formulation of the boundary layer problems is given. the nonlinear partial differential equations are converted into the ordinary differential equations using similarity transformatioris. the dimensionless velocity and temperature profiles are obtained through optimal homotopy analysis method （OHAm）. the influences of the physical parameters on the velocity and the temperature are pointed out. the results show that the temperature and the thermal boundary layer thickness are smaller in the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model than those in the fourier＇s law of heat conduction.

the electronic properties（fermi surface,band structure,and density of states（DOS）） of Al-based alloys Alm3（m=Zr and Cu） and AlCu2Zr are investigated using the first-principles pseudopotential plane wave method within the generalized gradient approximation（GGA）.the structural parameters and elastic constants are evaluated and compared with other available ***,the pressure dependences of mechanical properties of the compounds are *** temperature dependence of adiabatic bulk modulus,Debye temperature,specific heat,thermal expansion coefficient,entropy,and internal energy are all obtained for the first time through quasi-harmonic Debye model with phononic effects for t = 0 k-100 *** parameters of optical properties（dielectric functions,refractive index,extinction coefficient,absorption spectrum,conductivity,energy-loss spectrum,and reflectivity） of the compounds are calculated and discussed for the first *** reflectivities of the materials are quite high in the IR-visible-UV region up to ~ 15 eV,showing that they promise to be good coating materials to avoid solar *** of the properties are also compared with those of the Al-based Ni3 Al compound.

the structural vibrational, thermodynamical, and optical properties of potentially technologically important, weakly coupled mAX compound, Sc2 Al C are calculated using density functional theory(Dft). the structural properties of ScAlC are compared with the results reported earlier. the vibrational, thermodynamical, and optical properties are theoretically estimated for the first time. the phonon dispersion curve is calculated and the dynamical stability of this compound is investigated. the optical and acoustic modes are observed clearly. We calculate the Helmholtz free energy(f), internal energy(E), entropy(S), and specific heat capacity(Cv) from the phonon density of states. Various optical parameters are also calculated. the reflectance spectrum shows that this compound has the potential to be used as an efficient solar reflector.
