Microgels prepared from natural or synthetic hydrogel materials have aroused extensive attention as multifunctional cells or drug carriers,that are promising for tissue engineering and regenerative *** can also be aggregated into microporous scaffolds,promoting cell infiltration and proliferation for tissue *** review gives an overview of recent developments in the fabrication techniques and applications of microgels.A series of conventional and novel strategies including emulsification,microfluidic,lithography,electrospray,centrifugation,gas-shearing,three-dimensional bioprinting,*** discussed in *** characteristics and applications of microgels and microgel-based scaffolds for cell culture and delivery are elaborated with an emphasis on the advantages of these carriers in cell ***,we expound on the ongoing and foreseeable applications and current limitations of microgels and their aggregate in the field of biomedical *** stimulating innovative ideas,the present review paves new avenues for expanding the application of microgels in cell delivery techniques.

To explore highly active and thermomechanical stable air electrodes for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells(ITSOFCs),10mol%Ta5+doped in the B site of strontium ferrite perovskite oxide(SrTa_(0.1)Fe_(0.9)O_(3-δ),STF)is investigated and *** effects of Ta^(5+)doping on structure,transition metal reduction,oxygen nonstoichiometry,thermal expansion,and electrical performance are evaluated *** 10mol%Ta^(5+)doping,the thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)decreased from 34.1×10^(-6)(SrFeO_(3-δ))to 14.6×10^(-6) k^(-1)(STF),which is near the TEC of electrolyte(13.3×10^(-6) k^(-1) for Sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(1.9),SDC),indicates excellent thermomechanical *** 550-750℃,STF shows superior oxygen vacancy concentrations(0.262 to 0.331),which is critical in the oxygen-reduction reaction(ORR).Oxygen temperature-programmed desorption(O_(2)-TPD)indicated the thermal reduction onset temperature of iron ion is around 420℃,which matched well with the inflection points on the thermos-gravimetric analysis and electrical conductivity *** 600℃,the STF electrode shows area-specific resistance(ASR)of 0.152Ω·cm^(2) and peak power density(PPD)of 749 mW·cm^(-2).ORR activity of STF was further improved by introducing 30wt%Sm_(0.2)Ce_(0.8)O_(1.9)(SDC)powder,STF+SDC composite cathode achieving outstanding ASR value of 0.115Ω·cm2 at 600℃,even comparable with benchmark cobalt-containing cathode,Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.2)O_(3-δ)(BSCF).Distribution of relaxation time(DRT)analysis revealed that the oxygen surface exchange and bulk diffusion were improved by forming a composite *** 650℃,STF+SDC composite cathode achieving an outstanding PPD of 1117 mW·cm^(-2).The excellent results suggest that STF and STF+SDC are promising air electrodes for IT-SOFCs.

Effect of electroacupuncture at Neiguan(PC6)at different time points on myocardial ischemia reperfusion arrhythmia in rats

OBjECTIVE:To observe the effects of electroacupuncture at Neiguan(PC6)at different time points on reperfusion arrhythmia(RA)after myocardial ischemia and reperfusion in rats,and to investigate the correlation of this protective effect with nerve growth factor(NGF),tyrosine kinase A(Trk A),tyrosine hydroxylase(TH),and norepinephrine(NE).METHODS:A total of 72 Sprague-Dawley male rats were randomly divided into six groups(n=12 rats/group):normal group(Norm),sham operation group(Sham),ischemia reperfusion group(I/R),pre-ischemic electroacupuncture group(EAI),pre-reperfusion electroacupuncture group(EAII),post-reperfusion electroacupuncture group(EAIII).The myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury(MIRI)model was induced by occlusion of left anterior descending coronary artery for 20 min followed by reperfusion for 40 min in *** no intervention in the Norm group and only threading without ligation in the Sham *** pretreatment at 20 min/d for 7 d before ligation in the EAⅠgroup,20 min of electroacupuncture before reperfusion in the EAII group and 20 min of electroacupuncture after reperfusion in the EAIII *** electrocardiogram(ECG)of each group was recorded throughout the whole process,and the success of the MIRI model was determined based on the changs of j-point and T-wave in the *** arrhythmia score was used to record premature ventricular contractions,ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation during the reperfusion period to assess the reperfusion induced *** expression levels of NGF,Trk A,TH protein were measured by Western ***,the expression levels of plasma and myocardial NE levels were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent ***:The differences between Norm group and Sham group were not statistically significant in all *** score,myocardial NGF,Trk A,TH,and NE expression were significantly higher in the I/R group compared with the Sham *** score,myocardial NGF,T

The exploration of ethane(C_(2)H_(6))-selective porous materials for the direct production of polymer-grade ethylene(C_(2)H_(4))from a C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4) mixture in a single energy-saving adsorption step is of utmost importance but remains a significant ***,developing robust C_(2)H_(6)-selective adsorbents with high C_(2)H_(6) capacity and C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4) selectivity is urgently needed for industrial *** this study,we have successfully designed and synthesized two novel calix[4]resorcinarene-based porous organic cages(POCs)named CPOC-501 and *** POCs were formed via a Schiff-base reaction involving face-directed[6+8]condensation between a bowlshaped tetratopic tetraformylcalix[4]resorcinarene and triangular tritopic amine *** using single crystal X-ray crystallography revealed that both cages possess large truncated octahedral cavities with a volume of approximately 6500Å3 and 12 accessible rhombic windows with a side length of approximately 10.5Å.Furthermore,the cages exhibited excellent chemical stability under neutral,acidic,and basic conditions and high Brunauer–Emmett–Teller specific surface areas of up to 2175 m^(2) g^(−1) after *** POCs demonstrated superior adsorption capabilities for C_(2)H_(6) over C_(2)H_(4).Notably,CPOC-502 exhibited a C_(2)H_(6) capacity and C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4) selectivity of 83 cm^(3) g^(−1) and 2.83,respectively,surpassing most of the best-performing C_(2)H_(6)-selective porous organic materials reported to ***,breakthrough experiments confirmed that both cages efficiently produced polymer-grade C_(2)H_(4)(>99.9%)directly from the C_(2)H_(6)/C_(2)H_(4) mixture,highlighting their outstanding recyclability.

The presence of a pair of Weyl and Dirac points(WP-DP)in topological semimetal states is intriguing and sought after due to the effects associated with chiral topological ***,identifying these states in real materials poses a significant *** this study,by means of first-principles calculations we predict the coexistence of charge-2 Dirac and charge-2 Weyl phonons at high-symmetry points within a noncentrosymmetric P4_(1)2_(1)2 space ***,we propose GeO_(2)as an ideal candidate for realizing these ***,we observe two distinct surface arcs that connect the Dirac and Weyl points across the entire Brillouin zone,which could facilitate their detection in future experimental *** study not only presents a tangible material for experimentalists to explore the topological properties of WP-DP states but also opens up new avenues in the quest for ideal platforms to study chiral particles.

We demonstrate a low-noise,high-gain,and large-dynamic-range photodetector(PD)based on a junction field-effect transistor(jFET)and a charge amplifier for the measurement of quantum noise in Bell-state detection(BSD).Particular photodiode junction capacitance allows the silicon N-channel jFET 2sk152 to be matched to the noise requirement for charge amplifier *** electronic noise of the PD is effectively suppressed and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is up to 15 dB at the analysis frequency of 2.75 MHz for a coherent laser power of 50.08µ*** combining of the inductor and capacitance,the alternating current(AC)and direct current(DC)branches of the PD can operate linearly in a dynamic range from 25.06µW to 17.50 *** PD can completely meet the requirements of SNR and dynamic range for BSD in quantum optics experiments.

Ingenious design and fabrication of advanced carbon-based sulfur cathodes are extremely important to the development of high-energy lithium-sulfur batteries,which hold promise as the next-generation power ***,for the first time,we report a novel versatile hyphae-mediated biological assembly technology to achieve scale production of hyphae carbon fibers(HCFs)derivatives,in which different components including carbon,metal compounds,and semiconductors can be homogeneously assembled with HCFs to form composite *** mechanism of biological adsorption assembly is also *** a representative,reduced graphene oxides(rGOs)decorated with hollow carbon spheres(HCSs)successfully co-assemble with HCFs to form HCSs@rGOs/HCFs hosts for sulfur *** this unique architecture,not only large accommodation space for sulfur but also restrained volume expansion and fast charge transport paths are ***,multiscale physical barriers plus chemisorption sites are simultaneously established to anchor soluble lithium ***,the designed HCSs@rGOs/HCFs-S cathodes deliver a high capacity(1189 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 C)and good high-rate capability(686 mA h g^(-1)at 5 C).Our work provides a new approach for the preparation of high-performance carbon-based electrodes for energy storage devices.
