Rechargeable alkaline aqueous zinc batteries(RAZBs)have attracted increasing ***,most RAZBs are hindered by the limited availability of cathode *** practical electrochemical performance of most cathode materials is lower than the theoretical value due to their poor electrical conductivity and low utilization *** this work,we develop a facile hydrothermal procedure to prepare highly uniform bimetallic sulfides as novel cathode materials for ***-cobalt binary metallic oxides materials possess higher conductivity and larger capacity compared with their mono-metal oxides compounds due to bimetallic synergistic effects and multiple oxidation ***,bimetallic sulfide compounds have smaller bond energy and longer bond length than their oxides,leading to less structural damage,faster kinetics of electrochemical reactions,and better *** as-prepared Co-Cu bimetallic sulfides show enhanced electrochemical performance due to various valences of Co and Cu as well as the existence of *** a result,aqueous Zn/CuCo_(2)S_(4) battery shows a high specific capacity of 117.4 mAh/g at 4 A/g and a good cycle life of over 8000 *** on PANa hydrogel electrolytes,a flexible Zn/CuCo_(2)S_(4) battery demonstrates excellent cycling *** battery can also meet the requirements of electronic devices with different shapes and performs well in extreme environments,such as freezing,drilling,and *** work opens new avenues to obtain high-rate and long-life cathode materials for RAZBs by utilizing the synergistic effects of bimetallic sulfides and provides a new platform for flexible energy storage devices.

Break of thermal equilibrium between optical and acoustic phonon branches of CsPbI_(3)under continuous-wave light excitation and cryogenic temperature

The kinetic of low-temperature carrier and lattice of lead-halide perovskite is yet to be fully *** this work,we investigate the steady-state photoluminescences(PLs)of CsPbI_(3)at the environmental temperature(Te)ranging from 20 k to 300 k,and observed anomalous behaviors at cryogenic temperatures:The carrier temperature(Tc)of pure CsPbI_(3)exhibits a negative correlation with Te,accompanied by an expansion in Urbach tails of absorption spectra(Abs.)and excessive red-shifts at peak energy of *** phenomena are also observed in those samples containing a certain amount of Cs_(4)PbI_(6),but to a lesser extent and occurs at lower *** is attributed to the intensified hot phonon bottleneck effect(HPB)in CsPbI_(3)at cryogenic Te,which hinders the energy transfer from hot carriers,via longitudinal optics(LO)phonons to longitudinal acoustic(LA)phonons,to the *** samples under continuous-wave laser excitation,in specific,the barrier induced by the enhanced HPB at low Teprevents the effective thermalization among carriers,LO and LA phonons,which,therefore,form thermally isolated ensembles with different *** cryogenic Terange,the elevated temperatures of carrier and LO phonon expand the high-energy side of PLs and the low-energy tail of Abs.,*** those samples in which the CsPbI_(3)is mixed with Cs_(4)PbI_(6),the interfacial LO-LO interaction across them provides a bypass for heat dissipation,mitigating the heat accumulation in LO-phonons of CsPbI_(3).The results suggest that a strong HPB effect may break the thermal equilibrium among different branches of phonons in the lattice under certain extreme conditions.

Utilizing synergistic effects of bifunctional polymer hydrogel PAM-PAMPS for selective capture of Pb(Ⅱ)from wastewater

The preparation of hydrogel adsorbents with admirable performance for efficient selective remove Pb(Ⅱ)in complex wastewater still remains a great ***,a novel bifunctional modified polymer hydrogel PAM-PAMPS was prepared by crosslinking acrylamide(AM)and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid(AMPS).Compared with PEG,PAA and PAMPS,PAM-PAMPS exhibited both the maximum adsorption capacity of Pb(Ⅱ)(541.90 mg/g)and satisfactory selectivity for Pb(Ⅱ)in multiple heavy metal ions coexistence *** characterizations indicated that–SO3H and–NH2as active sites on PAM-PAMPS occur the synergistic effects of ion-exchange and coordination with Pb(Ⅱ)during the adsorption process,*** adsorption energy Ead(PAM-PAMPS)obtained from density functional theory(DFT)calculations was lower than the other three hydrogels,manifesting that PAMPAMPS formed the most stable complex with Pb(Ⅱ),which further demonstrated that Pb(Ⅱ)preferred to combine with PAM-PAMPS to selective capture of Pb(Ⅱ).The practice utilization of PAM-PAMPS was assessed by wastewater of electroplate containing Pb(Ⅱ).Meanwhile,the removal ratio of PAM-PAMPS was maintained at about 89%after 4 adsorption-desorption *** study establishes a new and effective idea for the design and fabrication of bifunctionalized modified polymer hydrogels.

The AMPk and AkT/GSk3β pathways are involved in recombinant proteins fibroblast growth factor 1(rFGF1 and rFGF1a) improving glycolipid metabolism in rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss) fed a high carbohydrate diet

Fibroblast growth factor 1(FGF1) regulates vertebrate cell growth, proliferation and differentiation, and energy metabolism. In this study, we cloned rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss) fgf1 and fgf1a, prepared their recombinant proteins(rFGF1 and rFGF1a), and described the molecular mechanisms by which they improve glycolipid metabolism in carnivorous fish. A 31-d feeding trial was conducted to investigate whether they could enhance glycolipid metabolism in rainbow trout on high-carbohydrate diets(HCD). A total of 720 rainbow trout(8.9 ± 0.5 g) were equally divided into 4 groups: the chow diet(CD) group injected with PBS, the HCD group injected with PBS, the HCD group injected with rFGF1(400 ng/g body weight), and the HCD group injected with rFGF1a(400 ng/g body weight). The results showed that short-term HCD had a significant positive effect on the specific growth rate(SGR) of rainbow trout(P k pathway and reducing lipid accumulation in the liver caused by HCD. In addition,the rFGF1 and r FGF1a-treated groups significantly reduced serum glucose levels and elevated hepatic glycogen content under HCD, and increased glucose uptake by hepatocytes. We observed a decrease in mRNA levels for pepck, g6pase, and pygl, along with an increase in mRNA levels for gys, glut2, and gk in the liver. Nanopore design of sulfur doped hollow carbon nanospheres for superior potassium-ion battery anodes

Sulfur doped carbonaceous materials are promising anodes for potassium-ion batteries because of their ability to bridge active sites and induce C/S electron coupling,resulting in increased ion storage capacitance However,the large potassium ions could cause significant volume expansion and structure collapse during operation in sulfur doped carbonaceous anodes,which lead to rapidly capacity sacrifice during long-term *** design for anchoring sulfur atom in carbon skeleton is a novel way to alleviate the structure collapse and maintain the cycling ***,this study developed a controlled nanopore and sulfur doped carbon sphere structure(S-NPHCSs).In potassium-ion batteries S-NPHCSs anode demonstrated exceptional performance with a high reversible capacity of 247 mAh·g^(–1)after 50 cycles at 0.2 A·g^(–1)and delivered a long cycle stability of 600 cycles at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(–1).Interconnected nanopores and doped sulfur structure not only expand the accumulation space and offer ample active sites for diffusion and adsorption of potassium ions,but also build stable channels through nanopore structure to ensure the cyclic *** finding provides a fundamental theory for designing nanopore structures and introducing sulfur doped carbonaceous materials to enhance capacitive potassium storage and long cycle stability.

Direct methanol fuel cell technology recently becomes the focus of both academic and engineering circles,which stimulates the exploitation and utilization of advanced electrode catalysts with high activity and long ***,we demonstrate a robust bottom-up approach to the spatial construction of three-dimensional(3D) spinel manganese-cobalt oxide-modified N-doped graphene nanoarchitectures decorated with ultrasmall Pt nanoparticles(Pt/MnCo_(2)O_(4)-NG) via a controllable selfassembly *** incorporation of MnCo_(2)O_(4)nanocrystals provides abundant hydroxyl sources to promote the oxidative removal of CO-like byproducts on Pt sites,while the existence of 3D porous N-doped graphene networks facilitates the transportation of both ions and electrons in the hybrid system,thus giving rise to remarkable synergetic coupling effects during the methanol oxidation ***,the optimized Pt/MnCo_(2)O_(4)-NG nano architecture expres ses exceptional electrocatalytic properties with a large electrochemically active surface area of 99.5 m^(2)·g^(-1),a high mass activity of1508.3 mA·mg^(-1),strong toxicity resistance and reliable long-term durability,which have obvious competitive advantages over those of conventional Pt/carbon black,Pt/carbon nano tube,Pt/graphene,and Pt/N-doped graphene catalysts with the same Pt usage.
