Heat stress causes significant economic losses in the broiler *** supplementation of arginine(Arg)and citrulline(Cit)might increase the performance of broilers raised under warm temperature due to vasodilation *** study investigated the effects of L-Arg or L-Cit supplementation in broilers fed a reduced protein wheat-based diet deficient in Arg under thermoneutral(NT)and cyclic warm temperature(WT).Ross 308 cockerels(n=720)were randomly allocated to 4 dietary treatments with 12 replicates of 15 birds per pen from d 7 to *** 4 treatments were:normal protein(NP),i.e.,22.3%and 20.9%crude protein in grower and finisher,respectively;reduced protein(RP),i.e.,2.5%lower protein and deficient in Arg;and RP supplemented with 0.28%Arg(RP-Arg)or 0.28%Cit(RP-Cit).A factorial arrangement of treatments was applied during the finisher phase(21 to 35 d).Factors were:diet(4 diets above);and temperature,NT(24℃)or cyclic WT(33±1℃for 6 h per day)with 6 replicate pens per *** 7 to 35 d and 21 to 35 d,the birds fed the RP diet had lower body weight gain(BWG)and higher FCR compared to the NP diet(Pke(FI),lower BWG(P0.05)compared to birds exposed to *** by temperature interactions were not observed for performance parameters during the period of WT(P>0.05).On d 35,the RP-fed birds had a lower yield of thigh and drumstick,higher fat pad,lower femur ash,and breaking strength but similar serum uric acid level and higher nitrogen digestibility on d 21 compared to those offered NP(P<0.05).Supplementation of Arg or Cit to RP resulted in increased femur ash on d 35(P<0.05).Thus,feeding the NP diets is necessary to maintain growth performance in broilers regardless of the temperature conditions.

To evaluate laboratory germination media, seed germi- nation rates and methodology for both Jatropha curcas and Pongamia pinnata were counted in different germination medium, such as river sand, quartz sand and vermiculite. The seeds of both species were sown at 2-cm depth of river sand, quartz sand and vermiculite. We evaluated methodologies of seeds of J. curcas and P. pinnata by ISTA （Interna- tional Seed Testing Association）. The results showed that river sand is the best medium for tree seeds planted at 2-cm depth of River sand. Vermiculite was second best. On paper media, there were many abnor- mal seedlings and this media were unsuitable for germination of the larger seeds.

Some research on climate change has been the basis of climate change denialism(here-after,CCD is used to refer to denial,denialism,and deniers).There is formative knowledge about the role of political propaganda in climate policies and resulting *** to the understanding of political ideology and the extent of CCD,we adopt econometric techniques to study the impact of the United States of America's withdrawal from the Paris *** results show that ideological political propaganda haspsychological and philosophical consequences that impact climate change *** addition,we find that the effect of a state's economic growth on climate change is mediated by *** particular,low-income capitalist states have a higher propensity to become CCDs because they are more likely to engage in economic expansion even at the expense of environmental *** climate change policies depend on high-income nations and industries'willingness to adopt economic policies to achieve sus-tainable future ***,this study fills the literature gap on the relationship between political ideology and climate *** findings show that CCD significantlyinfluences voting patterns and socioeconomic *** impedes states from achieving net-zero emissions and carbon neutrality and it is used as a political *** to these findings,relevant policy suggestions are offered.

Introduction“There is a kink(shoulder)on[the]Lys peak...”These words scribed in Richard ***’s laboratory notebook marked the discovery of protein methylation and a segue into a new field of scientific research[1].Initially,through ion-exchange chromatography and two-dimensional paper chromatography of the hydrolysate of Salmonella typhimurium flagellin,this“kink”was interpreted as a“new amino acid”,the e-Nmethyl-lysine(NML).This discovery,bolstered by a subsequent examination of purified NML,was the first glimpse of protein methylation in living cells[1].

Task allocation is a fundamental problem in multi-robot systems where heterogeneous robots cooperate to perform a complex mission.A general requirement in a task allocation algorithm is to find an optimal set of robots to execute a certain *** paper presents the work that harnesses an area decomposition algorithm,and a space-based middleware to facilitate task allocation process in unstructured and dynamic *** reduce spatial interference between robots,area decomposition algorithm divides a working area into cells which are then dynamically assigned to *** addition,coordination and collaboration among distributed robots are realized through a space-based *** this purpose,the space-based middleware is extended with a semantic model of robot capabilities to improve task selection in terms of flexibility,scalability,and reduced communication overhead during task *** this way a framework which exploits the synergy of area decomposition and semantically enriched space-based approach is *** conducted performance tests in a specific precision agriculture use case focusing on the utilization of a robotic fleet for weed control introduced in the European Project RHEA–Robot Fleets for Highly Effective Agriculture and Forestry Management.

Introduction Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is currently the fifth most common cancer globally,accounting for the third highest cancer-related deaths(1).Liver resection is the treatment modality of choice for resectable HCCs with adequate liver function in the absence of portal hypertension(1),but actuarial recurrence rates remain as high as 70%at 5 years post-resection(2).The recurrence of HCC post-resection portends poorer prognosis,with a 24%reduction in 5-year survival(2).While there have been a multitude of guidelines for the management of primary HCC across the world(3),the international expert consensus recently published by Wen et *** the first systematic,evidence-based consensus guidelines for the management of recurrent HCC(RHCC)following liver resection(4).

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is a heterogeneous disease, with a diverse and plastic immune cell infiltrate. These immune cells play an important role in regulating tumour growth-progression or elimination. Some populations of cells have a strong correlation with disease-free survival, making them useful prognostic markers. In particular, the infiltrate of CD3^+ and CD8^+ T cells into CRC tumours has been validated worldwide as a valuable indicator of patient prognosis. However, the heterogeneity of the immune response, both between patients with tumours of different molecular subtypes, and within the tumour itself, necessitates the use of multiparametric analysis in the investigation of tumour-specific immune responses. This review will outline the multiparametric analysis techniques that have been developed and applied to studying the role of immune cells in the tumour, with a focus on colorectal cancer. Because much of the data in this disease relates to T cell subsets and heterogeneity, we have used T cell populations as examples throughout. Flow and mass cytometry give a detailed representation of the cells within the tumour in a single-cell suspension on a per-cell basis. Imaging technologies, such as imaging mass cytometry, are used to investigate increasing numbers of markers whilst retaining the spatial and structural information of the tumour section and the infiltrating immune cells. Together, the analyses of multiple immune parameters can provide valuable information to guide clinical decision-making in CRC.
