In the realm of Multi-Label Text Classification(MLTC),the dual challenges of extracting rich semantic features from text and discerning inter-label relationships have spurred innovative *** studies in semantic feature extraction have turned to external knowledge to augment the model’s grasp of textual content,often overlooking intrinsic textual cues such as label statistical *** contrast,these endogenous insights naturally align with the classification *** our paper,to complement this focus on intrinsic knowledge,we introduce a novel Gate-Attention *** mechanism adeptly integrates statistical features from the text itself into the semantic fabric,enhancing the model’s capacity to understand and represent the ***,to address the intricate task of mining label correlations,we propose a Dual-end enhancement *** mechanism effectively mitigates the challenges of information loss and erroneous transmission inherent in traditional long short term memory *** conducted an extensive battery of experiments on the AAPD and RCV1-2 *** experiments serve the dual purpose of confirming the efficacy of both the Gate-Attention mechanism and the Dual-end enhancement *** final model unequivocally outperforms the baseline model,attesting to its *** findings emphatically underscore the imperativeness of taking into account not just external knowledge but also the inherent intricacies of textual data when crafting potent MLTC models.

Low circulating levels of gastrin-17 in patients with Barrett's esophagus

AIM: To examine whether the fasting levels of serum gastrin-17 (G-17) are lower in Barrett's esophagus (BE)patients than in non-Barrett ***: Nineteen patients with BE (presenting with a tubular segment ≥2 cm long in lower esophagus and intestinal metaplasia of incomplete type ('specialized columnar epithelium') in endoscopic biopsies from the tubular segment below the squamocolumnar junction were collected prospectively from outpatients referred to diagnostic gastroscopy. The controls comprised 199 prospectively collected dyspeptic outpatients without BE or any endoscopically visible lesions in the upper GI *** levels of serum G-17 (G-17fast) were assayed with an EIA test using a Mab highly specific to amidated G-17. None of the patients and controls received therapy with PPIs or other antisecretory ***: The mean and median levels of G-17fast in serum were significantly lower (P = 0.001) in BE patients than in controls. The positive likelihood ratios (LR+) of low G-17fast to predict BE in the whole study population at G-17fast levels ＜0.5, ＜1, or ＜1.5 pmol/L were 3.5, 3.0,and 2.8, respectively. Among patients and controls with healthy stomach mucosa, the LR+ were 5.6, 3.8, and 2.6,respectively. In the whole study population, serum G-17 was below 2 pmol/L in 15 of 19 BE patients (79%). The corresponding prevalence was 66 of 199 (33%) in controls (P＜0.001). The G-17fast was 5 pmol/L or more in only one of the 19 BE patients (5%). In controls, 76 of the 199 patients (38%) had such high serum G-17fast levels (P＜0.01).CONCLUsION: serum levels of G-17fast tend to be lower in native patients with BE than in healthy controls.

Impact of prehospital medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) transport time on combat mortality in patients with noncompressible torso injury and traumatic amputations: a retrospective study

Background: In combat operations, patients with traumatic injuries require expeditious evacuation to improve survival. studies have shown that long transport times are associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Limited data exist on the influence of transport time on patient outcomes with specific injury types. The objective of this study was to determine the impact of the duration of time from the initial request for medical evacuation to arrival at a medical treatment facility on morbidity and mortality in casualties with traumatic extremity amputation and noncompressible torso injury(NCTI).Methods: We completed a retrospective review of MEDEVAC patient care records for United states military personnel who sustained traumatic amputations and NCTI during Operation Enduring Freedom between January 2011 and March 2014. We grouped patients as traumatic amputation and NCTI(AMP+NCTI), traumatic amputation only(AMP),and neither AMP nor NCTI(Non-AMP/NCTI). Analysis was performed using chi-squared tests, Fisher's exact tests,Cochran-Armitage Trend tests, shapiro-Wilks tests, Wilcoxon and kruskal-Wallis techniques and Cox proportional hazards regression ***: We reviewed 1267 records, of which 669 had an injury severity score(Iss) of 10 or greater and were included in the analysis. In the study population, 15.5% sustained only amputation injuries(n=104, AMP only), 10.8% sustained amputation and NCTI(n=72, AMP+NCTI), and 73.7% did not sustain either an amputation or an NCTI(n=493,Non-AMP/NCTI). AMP+NCTI had the highest mortality(16.7%) with transport time greater than 60 min. While the AMP+NCTI group had decreasing survival with longer transport times, AMP and Non-AMP/NCTI did not exhibit the same ***: A decreased transport time from the point of injury to a medical treatment facility was associated with decreased mortality in patients who suffered a combination of amputation injury and NCTI. On-chip generation of hybrid polarization-frequency entangled biphoton states

We demonstrate a chip-integrated semiconductor source that combines polarization and frequency entanglement,allowing the generation of entangled biphoton states in a hybrid degree of freedom without *** Al Ga As device is based on type-Ⅱ spontaneous parametric downconversion in a counterpropagating phasematching scheme in which the modal birefringence lifts the degeneracy between the two possible nonlinear interactions. This allows the direct generation of polarization–frequency entangled photons at room temperature and telecom wavelength, and in two distinct spatial modes, offering enhanced flexibility for quantum information protocols. The state entanglement is quantified by a combined measurement of the joint spectrum and Hong–Ou–Mandel interference(raw visibility 70.1% ± 1.1%) of the biphotons, allowing to reconstruct a restricted density matrix in the hybrid polarization–frequency space.

AIM; To investigate the protective effect of HD-03 in experimental cirrhosis following chronic intoxication with thioacetamide (TAA). METHODs; The effect of HD-03 (750 mg/kg po) was studied in rats following TAA-induced intoxication (50 mg/kg po) for a period of 90 d. HD-03 was administered as an aqueous suspen-sion . Levels of biochemical markers indicative of hepa-totoxicity were assessed in serum and liver. Histopatho-logical evaluation of liver was also carried out to find out the protective effect of HD-03 following TAA-induced chronic intoxication. Experimental charge density distribution and its correlation to structural and optical properties of sm^3＋ doped Nd2O3 nanophosphors

Pure and smdoped NdOnanophosphors were synthesized using modified Pechini method. The phase formation with symmetry of the sample is confirmed by the Rietveld refinement of the powder Xray diffraction(PXRD) data. The surface morphology and the crystallite size were examined using scanning electron microscopy(sEM) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and the results confirmed that the synthesized particles are in nanosize. The energy-dispersive X-ray(EDX) analysis was done to confirm the purity of the sample. The optical properties of the sample were studied using ultraviolet-visible range(UV-Vis) spectroscopic analysis and photoluminescence studies. The calculated band gap of the synthesized NdOwas found to be higher than that of bulk NdO. The photoluminescence(PL) of the prepared samples reveals that doping with sm3+ ion has influenced the optical properties. Quantitative investigation on charge density distribution was done by analysing the 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional charge density maps drawn along the bonding directions. The maximum entropy method(MEM)/Rietveld analysis was used for the first time to analyse the charge density in the chosen system. Charge density arrangement in the unit cell is correlated to the analysed photoluminescent(PL) properties. The spectral behaviour of the samples has been explained through charge ordering which are verified using experimental data obtained. The studies on these materials have shown that these nanophosphors will provide promising application for near-ultraviolet lightemitting diodes(n-UV-LEDs).

ANN Based Performance Analysis of UPFC in Power Flow Control

The Unified Power Flow Controller （UPFC） is one of the most versatile Flexible AC Transmission systems （FACTs） devices that has unique capability of independently controlling the real and reactive power flows, in addition to regulate the system bus voltage. This paper presents performance analysis of Unified Power Flow Controller based on two axis theory. Based on this analysis, a new Artificial Neural Network （ANN） based controller has been proposed to improve the system performance. The controller rules are structured depending upon the relationship between series inserted voltage and the desired changes in real/reactive power flow in the power system. The effects of different controllers along with parameters of series transformer and transmission line have been investigated through developed control block model in sIMULINk tool box of MATLAB. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by case studies.

In VitroAnti-HIV Activity of Partially Purified Coumarin(s) Isolated from Fungal Endophyte, Alternariaspecies of Calophyllum inophyllum

5 totally different endophytic fungal species were isolated from bark and leaf parts of Calophyllum inophyllum. Leaf part yielded Trichoderma harzianum and Alternaria species, whereas bark showed the presence of Fusarium species, Aspergillus species and unidentified fungi. Two solvents (hexane and methanol) were used for endophytic fungal extraction and the Alternaria species had shown the presence of coumarin whereas Trichoderma harzianum in methanol extract and Fusarium species in hexane extract had shown the coumarin(s) in all the four methods tested. The total coumarin yield was more in microwave assistance method, the methanol Alternaria species (3.941 ± 0.082) stood first, followed by hexane extract of Alternaria species (3.254 ± 0.082), Fusarium species (2.532 ± 0.082) and Trichoderma harzianum (2.294 ± 0.082), the plant extract showed 4.149 + 0.053. The methanol extract of Alternaria species inhibited the activity of HIV-Reverse Transcriptase (RT) (82.81 ± 1.0), integrase (98%) and protease (78) in maximum level followed by hexane extract of Alternaria species (71.12 ± 0.9, 89, 68), Fusarium species (63.92 ± 1.8, 67, 66) and Trichoderma harzianum (56.69 ± 0.9, 71, 63). The endophytic fungi Alternaria species inhibited all the three viral enzymes at maximum level and it was more than standard drug. However, in order to know possible anti-HIV, it is necessary to isolate active coumarin from the Alternaria species and the mechanism of action will be studied in future studies.
