A novel reconfiguration of the solar array to enhance peak power and efficiency under partial shading conditions:experimental validation

Non-homogeneous irradiation patterns and temperature levels immensely affect the performance of solar photovoltaic *** shading conditions on solar arrays reduce the peak power and *** paper provides a new remedy called a novel Ramanujan reconfiguration(NRR)to eliminate this physical shading problem in solar photovoltaic *** is a static-based reconfigured technique that is built using a three-diode model with the help of the MATLAB®/simulink®*** special feature of the proposed NRR technique is that when shade occurs on the solar modules,it gets realigned in a particular row,column,diagonal,corner,centre and middle peripheral *** helps over a wide range of shade dispersion on the solar *** novel topology is tested against the conventional total cross-tied(TCT)model and recently introduced advanced reconfigured models,namely odd–even topology(OET)and kendoku topology(kDT).The results are tested under certain shading *** proposed NRR technique increases the peak power by 4.45,2.15 and 2.17 W under the first shading condition regarding TCT,OET and *** efficiency is improved by 0.51–2.18%under the third shading condition compared with other considered models in this *** addition,NRR leads to smooth output curves under the second,third and fourth shading conditions,effectively mitigating the local power *** experimental results show the proposed enhanced performance of the novel model against the other *** Abstract Remedy for physical problem correlated with solar photovoltaics Comparison with traditional and recent solar models Conclusion:NRR has effectively handled the problem related with solar *** has improved the efficiency up to 31.44%under ***,smooth output curves under s2-s4 shows its effectiveness in mitigating the local power *** power gain at 3.94%under s4 is achieved by novel ***-time verification proves the supremacy of novel proposed model over o

Evaluation of slope stability through rock mass classification and kinematic analysis of some major slopes along NH-1A from Ramban to Banihal, North Western Himalayas

The network of Himalayan roadways and highways connects some remote regions of valleys or hill slopes,which is vital for India’s socio-economic *** to natural and artificial factors,frequency of slope instabilities along the networks has been increasing over last few *** of stability of natural and artificial slopes due to construction of these connecting road networks is significant in safely executing these roads throughout the *** rock mass classification methods are generally used to assess the strength and deformability of rock *** study assesses slope stability along the NH-1A of Ramban district of North Western *** structurally and non-structurally controlled rock mass classification systems have been applied to assess the stability conditions of 14 *** evaluating the stability of these slopes,kinematic analysis was performed along with geological strength index(GsI),rock mass rating(RMR),continuous slope mass rating(CosMR),slope mass rating(sMR),and Q-slope in the present *** sMR gives three slopes as completely unstable while CosMR suggests four slopes as completely *** stability of all slopes was also analyzed using a design chart under dynamic and static conditions by slope stability rating(ssR)for the factor of safety(Fos)of 1.2 and 1 respectively.Q-slope with probability of failure(PoF)1%gives two slopes as stable *** slope angle has been determined based on the Q-slope safe angle equation and ssR design chart based on the *** value ranges given by different empirical classifications were RMR(37-74),GsI(27.3-58.5),sMR(11-59),and CosMR(3.39-74.56).Good relationship was found among RMR&ssR and RMR&GsI with correlation coefficient(R 2)value of 0.815 and 0.6866,***,a comparative stability of all these slopes based on the above classification has been performed to identify the most critical slope along this road.

This study considers an MHD Jeffery-Hamel nanofluid flow with distinct nanoparticles such as copper,Al_(2)O_(3)and siO_(2)between two rigid non-parallel plane walls with the fuzzy extension of the generalized dual parametric homotopy *** nanofluids have been formulated to enhance the thermophysical characteristics of fluids,including thermal diffusivity,conductivity,convective heat transfer coefficients and *** to the presence of distinct nanofluids,a change in the value of volume fraction occurs that influences the velocity profiles of the *** short value of nanoparticles volume fraction is considered an uncertain parameter and represented in a triangular fuzzy number range among[0.0,0.1,0.2].A novel generalized dual parametric homotopy algorithm with fuzzy extension is used here to study the fuzzy velocities at various channel ***,the effectiveness of the proposed approach has been demonstrated through a comparison with the available results in the crisp case.

Facial Expression Recognition with High Response-Based Local Directional Pattern (HR-LDP) Network

Although lots of research has been done in recognizing facial expressions,there is still a need to increase the accuracy of facial expression recognition,particularly under uncontrolled *** use of Local Directional Patterns(LDP),which has good characteristics for emotion detection has yielded encouraging *** innova-tive end-to-end learnable High Response-based Local Directional Pattern(HR-LDP)network for facial emotion recognition is implemented by employing fixed convolutional filters in the proposed *** combining learnable convolutional layers with fixed-parameter HR-LDP layers made up of eight kirsch filters and derivable simulated gate functions,this network considerably minimizes the number of network *** cost of the parameters in our fully linked layers is up to 64 times lesser than those in currently used deep learning-based detection *** seven well-known databases,including JAFFE,Ck+,MMI,sFEW,OULU-CAsIA and MUG,the recognition rates for seven-class facial expression recognition are 99.36%,99.2%,97.8%,60.4%,91.1%and 90.1%,*** results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed work over cutting-edge techniques.

Phytosomes(phytophospholipid complex) are dosage forms that have recently been introduced to increase the stability and therapeutic effect of herbal medicine. Currently, bioactive herbs and the phytochemicals they contain are considered to be the best remedies for chronic diseases. One promising approach to increase the efficacy of plant-based therapies is to improve the stability and bioavailability of their bio-active ingredients. Phytosomes employ phospholipids as their active ingredients, and use their amphiphilic properties to solubilize and protect herbal extracts. The unique properties of phospholipids in drug delivery and their use in herbal medicines to improve bioavailability results in significantly enhanced health benefits. The introduction of phytosome nanotechnology can alter and revolutionize the current state of drug delivery. The goal of this review is to explain the application of phytosomes, their future prospects in drug delivery, and their advantages over conventional formulations.

The primary focus during surgery is to ensure successful implantation by achieving long-term and stable fixation of *** surgery is now more focused on the development of novel biomaterials intended to improve implant *** obtain a better understanding of metal implants,this article investigated the causes of material failures in certain cases and analysed a few case *** interaction between the implant and bone tissue was a crucial aspect of successful implantation,and this study explored the factors influencing this interaction as well as ways to improve *** modern approaches used for modifying implant surfaces were systematically illustrated and briefly *** spray coatings were often favoured because of their wide range of coating materials,but other substantial surface modifications(such as friction stir processing and laser surface texturing)were also used for a selection of ***,implant surfaces with desirable features,such as biocompatibility,antibacterial properties,corrosion resistance,and wear resistance,were essential for optimising implant *** systematic review's main aim is to provide exhaustive reference information and a broad overview to advance the production and design of orthopaedic implants.

Angular unconformity in Pennsylvanian strata from 3-D seismic interpretation,Goldsmith Field,West Texas

The Pennsylvanian unconformity,which is a detrital surface,separates the beds of the Permian-aged strata from the Lower Paleozoic in the Central Basin *** data interpretation indicates that the unconformity is an angular unconformity,overlying multiple normal faults,and accompanied with a thrust fault which maximizes the region's structural ***,the Pennsylvanian angular unconformity creates pinch-outs between the beds above and *** computed the spectral decomposition and reflector convergence attributes and analyzed them to characterize the angular unconformity and *** spectral decomposition attribute divides the broadband seismic data into different spectral bands to resolve thin beds and show thickness *** contrast,the reflector convergence attribute highlights the location and direction of the pinch-outs as they dip south at angles between 2and 6.After reviewing findings from RGB blending of the spectrally decomposed frequencies along the Pennsylvanian unconformity,we observed channel-like features and multiple linear bands in addition to the faults and *** can be inferred that the identified linear bands could be the result of different lithologies associated with the tilting of the beds,and the faults may possibly influence hydrocarbon migration or act as a flow barrier to entrap hydrocarbon *** identification of this angular unconformity and the associated features in the study area are vital for the following reasons:1)the unconformity surface represents a natural stratigraphic boundary;2)the stratigraphic pinch-outs act as fluid flow connectivity boundaries;3)the areal extent of compartmentalized reservoirs'boundaries created by the angular unconformity are better defined;and 4)fault displacements are better understood when planning well locations as faults can be flow barriers,or permeability conduits,depending on facies heterogeneity and/or seal effectiveness of a fault,which c
