Building blocks of quantum computers have been demonstrated in small to intermediate-scale *** one of the leading platforms,the trapped ion system has attracted wide attention.A significant challenge in this system is to combine fast high-fidelity gates with scalability and convenience in ion trap *** we propose an architecture for large-scale quantum computing with a two-dimensional array of atomic ions trapped at such large distance which is convenient for ion-trap fabrication but usually believed to be unsuitable for quantum computing as the conventional gates would be too *** gate operations far outside of the Lamb–Dicke region,we show that fast and robust entangling gates can be realized in any large ion *** gate operations are intrinsically parallel and robust to thermal noise,which,together with their high speed and scalability of the proposed architecture,makes this approach an attractive one for large-scale quantum computing.

基于金属基底-介质层-金属阵列的多层结构,以三角柱-圆柱金属阵列为核心,提出了铬基超材料吸收-发射器对以同步实现太阳能全谱段吸收和光谱调制。围绕对光波的吸收、发射性能及其温度场的演化,建立了光热耦合计算模型并开展了系统研究。首先,在入射太阳能波段为300~2500 nm、吸收器三角柱边长为50~300 nm、圆柱高度为10~100 nm条件下开展了吸收性能模拟;其次,在发射器基底边长为1000~2000 nm、三角柱高度为10~500 nm、圆柱高度为30~500 nm条件下开展了发射性能模拟;最后,在入射功率为3~15 MW·m^(-2)条件下进行了温度场的演化计算。研究结果表明:吸收器光谱吸收率与太阳光AM1.5吻合,总体吸收率在0.88~0.90之间,且随阵列柱体几何结构、材质无明显变化,这有利于降低制造成本和工艺难度;发射器光谱发射率与1500~2000 k时的黑体辐射力曲线基本吻合,在1450~2000 nm的区间发射效率为0.50~0.99,实现了光谱调制,其中三角柱高度与发射器自身温度是影响发射效率的关键因素;吸收-发射器对的总体光谱调制效率为0.18~0.67,在合理设计发射器表面几何结构的基础上,通过强化吸收来提高发射器温度,这是提升光谱调制效能的根本途径。研究结果可为光谱调制元件的设计和运行提供一定的参考。

Influence of Heat Treatment on the Bond Coat Cyclic Oxidation Behaviour in an Air-plasma-sprayed Thermal Barrier Coating System

It is generally believed that a thermally grown oxide (TOO) layer of alumina provides enhanced protection to the metallic bond coat in thermal barrier coating (TBC) systems at elevated temperatures. However, in an air-plasma-sprayed (APS) TBC system with Co-32Ni-21Cr-8Al-0.5Y (wt%) bond coat, the TGO layer formed upon thermal exposure in air was predominantly chromia and spinels, which would not effectively protect the bond coat at above 1000°C. In addition, mixed oxides of chromia, spinel and nickel oxide formed heterogeneously between the ceramic coating and CoNiCrAlY bond coat, which would promote crack initiation and lead to premature TBC failure. A heat treatment in a low-pressure condition was applied to the as-sprayed TBC system, with the aim to produce an alumina layer as well as reduce the amount of detrimental oxides. The influence of this low-pressure oxidation treatment (LPOT) on the bond coat cyclic oxidation behaviour of the TBC system was also investigated.

对某矿区高硫铝土矿进行了不同焙烧方式的脱硫试验,提出了一种模拟流态化焙烧脱硫过程的静态焙烧试验方法,进行了系统的焙烧脱硫试验,确定了较适宜的焙烧脱硫工艺条件,考察了焙烧过程对精矿溶出性能的影响。在磨矿粒度250μm筛下含量≥90.84%、焙烧温度580~600℃、焙烧时间2 min的条件下,精矿中全硫(ST)含量可降低至0.50%左右,S2−含量不超过0.10%;在石灰添加量10%、溶出温度265℃、溶出液αk=1.35~1.39及溶出时间50 min的条件下,精矿的氧化铝溶出率>89%,溶出赤泥A/S=1.31~1.34,N/S=0.15~0.16。在相同溶出试验条件下,与原矿相比,焙烧精矿溶出性能变化不大。

Stars are born in dense cores of molecular clouds. The core mass function （CMF）, which is the mass distribution of dense cores, is important for understanding the stellar initial mass function （IMF）. We obtained 350μm dust continuum data using the SHArC-II camera at the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory （CSO） telescope. A 350μm map covering 0.25 deg2 of the Ophiuchus molecular cloud was created by mosaicing 56 separate scans. The CSO telescope had an angular resolution of 9＂, corresponding to 1.2 ×103 AU at the distance of the Ophiuchus molecular cloud （131 pc）. The data was reduced using the Comprehensive reduction Utility for SHArC-II （CrUSH）. The flux density map was analyzed using the GaussClumps algorithm, within which 75 cores has been identified. We used the Spitzer c2d catalogs to separate the cores into 63 starless cores and 12 protostellar cores. By locating Jeans instabilities, 55 prestellar cores （a subcategory of starless cores） were also identified. The excitation temperatures, which were derived from FCrAO 12CO data, help to improve the accuracy of the masses of the cores. We adopted a Monte Carlo approach to analyze the CMF with two types of functional forms; power law and log-normal. The whole and prestellar CMF are both well fitted by a log-normal distribution, with p = -1. 18 ±0.10, σ = 0.58 ± 0.05 and μ= 1.40 ＋ 0.10, σ= 0.50 ＋ 0.05 respectively. This finding suggests that turbulence influences the evolution of the Ophiuchus molecular cloud.

The recently developed elastic-viscoplastic self-consistent model with various self-consistent schemes was applied to study the effect of basal texture on the mechanical behavior of magnesium alloy AZ31B sheet. The influence of the basal texture was investigated using various initial textures generated by artificially tilting the measured texture of the reference AZ31B sheet around in a transverse direction. The material parameters for the various models were fitted to experimental uniaxial tension and compression along the rolling direction and were then used to study the effects of the basal texture on the yield stress, r value, ultimate stress and uniform strain under uniaxial tension. The effect of the basal texture on sheet metal forming was further assessed by calculating the limit strain under in-plane plane strain tension. An assessment of the predictive capability of polycrystal plasticity models was made based on comparisons of predictions and experimental observations. Among the available self-consistent approaches, the Affine self-consistent scheme resulted in the best overall performance.

After the progressive collapse of ronan Point apartment in Uk in 1968, intensive research effort had been spent on developing guidelines for design of new or strengthening the existing structures to prevent progressive collapse. However, only very few building design codes provide some rather general guidance, no detailed design requirement is given. Progressive collapse of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building in Oklahoma City and the World Trade Centre (WTC) sparked again tremendous research interest on progressive collapse of structures. recently, US Department of Defence (DoD) and US General Service Administration (GSA) issued guidelines for structure progressive collapse analysis. These two guidelines are most commonly used, but their accuracy is not known. This paper presents numerical analysis of progressive collapse of an example frame structure to blast loads. The DoD and GSA procedures are also used to analyse the same example structure. Numerical results are compared and discussed. The accuracy and the applicability of the two design guidelines are evaluated.
