Cilia-induced flow of viscoelastic mucus through an idealized two-dimensional model of the human trachea is *** cilia motion is simulated by a metachronal wave pattern which enables the mobilization of highly viscous mucus even at nonzero Reynolds *** viscoelastic mucus is analyzed with the upper convected Maxwell viscoelastic formulation which features a relaxation time and accurately captures normal stress generation in shear *** governing equations are transformed from fixed to wave(laboratory)frame with appropriate variables and resulting differential equations are perturbed about wave *** trachea is treated as an axisymmetric ciliated *** and axial distributions in axial velocity are calculated via the regular perturbation method and pressure rise is computed with numerical integration using symbolic software MATHEMATICA^(‘TM’).The influence of selected parameters which is cilia length,and Maxwell viscoelastic material parameter *** time for prescribed values of wave number are visualized *** rise is observed to increase considerably with elevation in both cilia length and relaxation time whereas the axial velocity is markedly *** simulations provide some insight into viscous-dominated cilia propulsion of rheological mucus and also serve as a benchmark for more advanced modeling.

This research explores the transport of a Jeffrey fluid through a permeable slit of microchannel under the effect of a porous medium and constant *** laws of fluid mechanics are used to study the flow in a cross-sectional area of a narrow slit which generates a highly nonlinear system of partial differential equation with nonhomogeneous boundary *** solve the complex boundary value problem;a recursive(Langlois)approach is used and explicit expressions for velocity,pressure,stream function,flux,shear stress and fractional reabsorption are *** is noticed that the flow rate at the centre line of slit and shear stress on the walls of slit decay due to the presence of porous medium and viscoelastic fluid *** is also quantitatively observed that more pressure is required for the fluid flow when the slit is filled with a porous medium and reabsorption on the walls is *** mathematical results of the present research have significant importance in the field of biofluid mechanics and medical industry,therefore the application of a diseased rat kidney is also included in this research:and reabsorption velocities in the case of a diseased and a healthy rat kidney are calculated with the effects of a porous medium and constant re-absorption.

The large number of new bug reports received in bug repositories of software systems makes their management a challenging *** these reports manually is time consuming,and often results in delaying the resolution of important *** address this issue,a recommender may be developed which automatically prioritizes the new bug *** this paper,we propose and evaluate a classification based approach to build such a *** use the Na¨ ve Bayes and Support Vector Machine （SVM） classifiers,and present a comparison to evaluate which classifier performs better in terms of *** a bug report contains both categorical and text features,another evaluation we perform is to determine the combination of features that better determines the priority of a *** evaluate the bug priority recommender,we use precision and recall measures and also propose two new measures,Nearest False Negatives （NFN） and Nearest False Positives （NFP）,which provide insight into the results produced by precision and *** findings are that the results of SVM are better than the Na¨ ve Bayes algorithm for text features,whereas for categorical features,Na¨ ve Bayes performance is better than *** highest accuracy is achieved with SVM when categorical and text features are combined for training.

The increasing use of cloud-based devices has reached the critical point of cybersecurity and unwanted network *** environments pose significant challenges in maintaining privacy and *** approaches,such as IDS,have been developed to tackle these ***,most conventional Intrusion Detection System(IDS)models struggle with unseen cyberattacks and complex high-dimensional *** fact,this paper introduces the idea of a novel distributed explainable and heterogeneous transformer-based intrusion detection system,named INTRUMER,which offers balanced accuracy,reliability,and security in cloud settings bymultiplemodulesworking together within *** traffic captured from cloud devices is first passed to the TC&TM module in which the Falcon Optimization Algorithm optimizes the feature selection process,and Naie Bayes algorithm performs the classification of *** selected features are classified further and are forwarded to the Heterogeneous Attention Transformer(HAT)*** this module,the contextual interactions of the network traffic are taken into account to classify them as normal or malicious *** classified results are further analyzed by the Explainable Prevention Module(XPM)to ensure trustworthiness by providing interpretable *** the explanations fromthe classifier,emergency alarms are transmitted to nearby IDSmodules,servers,and underlying cloud devices for the enhancement of preventive *** experiments on benchmark IDS datasets CICIDS 2017,Honeypots,and NSL-kDD were conducted to demonstrate the efficiency of the INTRUMER model in detecting network trafficwith high accuracy for different *** outperforms state-of-the-art approaches,obtaining better performance metrics:98.7%accuracy,97.5%precision,96.3%recall,and 97.8%*** results validate the robustness and effectiveness of INTRUMER in securing diverse cloud environments against sophisticated cyber threats.

Much remains unknown about compositional variations in soluble microbial products(SMP)with the shift of the substrate condition from a feast to a famine phase in biological treatment *** study demonstrated that the formation of SMP could be suppressed by up to 75%during the famine phase with the addition of essential *** contrast,presence of electron acceptor did not play any significant role during the stress condition,showing the similar amounts of SMP(r=0.98,p0.95).The fluorescence excitation-emission matrix coupled with parallel factor analysis(EEM-PARAFAC)revealed the presence of four different fluorescent components,including two protein-like(C1 and C4),fulvic-like(C2),and humic-like(C3)components,in the SMP and bEPS formed at different *** C1 and C4 showed increasing trends(R^2>0.95)with the length of starvation in the bioreactors without essential *** availability was found to be a key factor to quench the production of large-sized *** study provides a wealth of information on operation conditions of activated sludge treatment systems to minimize large sized SMP molecules(particularly proteins),which typically exert many environmental concerns to effluent organic matter quality.

Bottled water may not be safer, or healthier, than tap water. The present studies have proved that styrene and some other aromatic compounds leach continuously from polystyrene （PS） bottles used locally for packaging. Water sapmles in contact with PS were extracted by a preconcentration technique called as ＂purge and trap＂ and analysed by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer （GC/MS）. Eleven aromatic compounds were identified in these studies. Maximum concentration of styrene in PS bottles was 29.5 μg/L. Apart from styrene, ethyl benzene, toluene and benzene were also quantified but their concentrations were much less than WHO guide line values. All other compounds were in traces. Quality of plastic and storage time were the major factor in leaching of styrene. Concentration of styrene was increased to 69.53 μg/L after one-year storage. In Styrofoam and PS cups studies, hot water was found to be contaminated with styrene and other aromatic compounds. It was observed that temperature played a major role in the leaching of styrene monomer from Styrofoam cups. Paper cups were found to be safe for hot drinks.

TAU is a microtubule-associated protein that promotes microtubule assembly and stability in the *** is missorted and aggregated in an array of diseases known as *** are essential for neuronal function and regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications,changes of which affect microtubule stability and dynamics,microtubule interaction with other proteins and cellular structures,and mediate recruitment of microtubule-severing *** impairment of microtubule dynamics causes neuronal dysfunction,we hypothesize cognitive impairment in human disease to be impacted by impairment of microtubule *** therefore aimed to study the effects of a disease-causing mutation of TAU(P301L)on the levels and localization of microtubule post-translational modifications indicative of microtubule stability and dynamics,to assess whether P301L-TAU causes stability-changing modifications to *** investigate TAU localization,phosphorylation,and effects on tubulin post-translational modifications,we expressed wild-type or P301L-TAU in human MAPT-kO induced pluripotent stem cell-derived neurons(i Neurons)and studied TAU in neurons in the hippocampus of mice transgenic for human P301L-TAU(p R5 mice).Human neurons expressing the longest TAU isoform(2N4R)with the P301L mutation showed increased TAU phosphorylation at the AT8,but not the p-Ser-262 epitope,and increased polyglutamylation and acetylation of microtubules compared with endogenous TAU-expressing neurons.P301L-TAU showed pronounced somatodendritic presence,but also successful axonal enrichment and a similar axodendritic distribution comparable to exogenously expressed 2N4R-wildtype-TAU.P301L-TAU-expressing hippocampal neurons in transgenic mice showed prominent missorting and tauopathy-typical AT8-phosphorylation of TAU and increased polyglutamylation,but reduced acetylation,of microtubules compared with non-transgenic *** sum,P301L-TAU results in changes in micr
