Functionalized Graphene Oxide with Bismuth and Titanium Oxide Nanoparticles for Efficiently Removing Formaldehyde from the Air by Photocatalytic Degradation-Adsorption Process

Formaldehyde(HCHO)is formed through the oxidation of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)and can cause human *** oxide and titanium oxide nanoparticles-functionalized nanographene oxide(Bi_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)@NGO)were used to rapidly remove the HCHO from the air by a photocatalytic degradation-adsorption process(PC-DAP).The formaldehyde vapor in pure air was generated in a dynamic system within a chamber,and flowed over Bi_(2)O_(3)/TiO_(2)@NGO adsorbent inside a fixed-bed quartz reactor(FBQR)under UV irradiation at optimized conditions(250C).At atmospheric pressure,the flow rate and gas hourly space velocity(GHSV)were adjusted to 300 mL/min and 100-450 L/h,*** radicals of HCHO and nanographene oxide(NGO)were generated through the UV-photochemical process,enhancing the chemical adsorption through the radicals’*** the other hand,the semi-degradation process by catalytic oxidation process converted some HCHO into raw materials of CO_(2)and H_(2)O,while the unconverted HCHO was physically absorbed by ***,the HCHO concentration in the outlet system was measured by gas chromatography with a flame ionization detector(GC-FID)after derivatizing formaldehyde with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine(DNPH)and ***,efficient removal of HCHO from the air,the removal efficiency of more than 95%,was achieved through physical/chemical adsorption and the *** mean removal efficiencies for HCHO with Bi_(2)O_(3)-TiO_(2)@NGO,TiO_(2)@NGO,Bi_(2)O_(3)@NGO,and NGO were 98.7%,73.6%,61.8%,and 11.4%,respectively(n=10,RSDking different concentrations of standard HCHO into pure air.

Background:Testicular torsion(TT)is an acute inflammatory process leading to male ***,anti-i nflammatory effects of exosomes derived from blood serum are used in various laboratory *** the present study,the anti-i nflammatory effects of blood-serum-derived exosomes in treatment of acute inflammation following TT in mice were *** and Methods:Eighteen male mice were grouped as healthy control,TT,and TT+*** was induced surgically,and exosomes were extracted from blood serum and administrated by a single intratesticular injection(10 IU).Malondialdehyde(MDA)and Griess assays were used to evaluate the level of oxidative *** indices,testosterone(Tes),and apoptotic gene expression(p-53,Bcl2,and Caspase-3)were also assessed.H&E and immunohistochemistry(IHC)stainings were used for histopathological *** analysis was applied by SPSS(v.19)***:Oxidative stress and apoptotic genes expression were increased significantly(p<0.05)in TT group compared with *** parameters and Tes were significantly increased,and expression of apoptotic genes was significantly reduced in TT+exosome group(p<0.05).Conclusion:Since the blood-serum-derived exosomes have anti-i nflammatory features,the intratesticular application of blood-serum-derived exosomes can be used clinically in acute phase of orchitis following TT to inhibit testicular inflammation.

Linear active disturbance rejection control(LADRC)is a powerful control structure thanks to its performance in uncertainties,internal and external disturbances estimation and *** extended state observer(ESO)based controller is the key to the LADRC *** this article,the LADRC scheme combined with a fractional-order integral action(FOILADRC)is proposed to improve the robustness of the standard *** the robust closed-loop Bode’s ideal transfer function(BITF),an appropriate pole placement method is proposed to design the set-point tracking controller of the FOI-LADRC *** simulations and experimental results on a cart-pendulum system will illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed FOI-LADRC scheme for the disturbance rejection,the set-point tracking and the improved *** illustrate the LADRC control schemes and to verify the performance of the proposed FOI-LADRC,compared to the standard LADRC and IOI-LADRC structures,two tests will be carried ***,simulation tests on an academic example will be presented to show the effect of the different parameters of the control law on the performance of the closed-loop ***,these three control structures are implemented on an experimental test bench,the cart-pendulum system,to show their efficiency and to show the superiority of the proposed method compared to the two other structures.

Objective:To conduct changes in sexual activity during pregnancy and its related factors in pregnant ***:The present descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2017 on pregnant women who referred to the women's clinic of Afzalipour Hospital in the southeast of *** were included in the study through convenient *** data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of two parts of personal social information of the couple and questions to measure the level of sexual activity and the attitude of the subjects during pregnancy compared to before ***:201 Pregnant women were *** average age of pregnant women was(27.3±6.1)years and their average gestational age was(24.7±11.8)*** than 62%of women had decreased sexual *** was a significant relationship between the amount of changes in sexual activity and delivery time(P=0.013),abortion history(P=0.001)and premature birth history(P=0.002).Most pregnant women believed that sex during pregnancy caused damage to the fetus(67.7%).A decrease in the intensity of sexual desire was reported in 63%of pregnant *** than 60%of the subjects did not consult with doctors and midwives with regards to sexual issues(63.5%).The most common reason for not consulting was not feeling the need(32%).Most women experienced back pain during(42.8%)and after(39.8%)***:Changes in sex life during pregnancy are often caused by the lack of sexual knowledge and the increase in misconceptions among couples,which can affect the quality of *** role of education is ***,it is suggested that by including sexual counseling along with pregnancy care,wrong beliefs and information among women will be corrected.

This paper discusses the elaboration of adsorbents from oil *** experimental designs a response surface methodology(RSM),which has been applied to optimize the significant preparation factors,such as tempera-ture,time,and the activating agent *** results obtained from central composite design(CCD)revealed that the interaction between the factors was significant for the maximum quantity of adsorption(response).Planned results have shown that a maximum quantity of adsorption for methylene blue is 65 mg/g,which could be achieved with a temperature of 275℃over 2 h and a percentage of the activating agent of 45%.The predicted values agreed with the experimental finding,with a determination coefficient(R2)of *** model has been validated by experi-ments after conditions *** new material(RHO)was characterized by cation exchange capacity,zero charge pH,surface functions,X-ray fluorescence,specific surface area,and electron microscopy *** adsorption was determined using Langmuir,Freundlich and Temkin,which were used to describe the adsorption *** adsorption capacity of the material was about 263 mg/g,and the kinetic studies showed rapid adsorption.

Sequence stratigraphy of the petroliferous Dariyan Formation (Aptian) in Qeshm Island and offshore (southern Iran)

After sea level rises during the Early Cretaceous, upper parts of the khami Group sediments （Fahliyan, Gadvan, and Dariyan Formations） deposited over Jurassic sediments. The Lower Cretaceous （Aptian） Dariyan Formation （equivalent to the Shu＇aiba Formation and Hawar Member of the Arabian Plate） carbonates, which have hydrocarbon reservoir potential, form the uppermost portion of the khami Group that unconformably overlays the Gadvan Formation and was unconformably covered by the kazhdumi Formation and Burgan sandstones. Detailed paleontological, sedimentological, and well log analysis were performed on seven wells from Qeshm Island and offshore in order to analyze the sequence stratigraphy of this interval and correlate with other studies of the Dariyan Formation in this region. According to this study, the Dariyan Formation contains 14 carbonate lithofacies, which deposited on a ramp system that deepened in both directions （NE-wells 5, 6 and SWIwells 1, 2）. Sequence stratigraphy led to recognition of 5 Aptian third-order sequences toward the Bab Basin （SW-well 1） and 4 Aptian third-order sequences toward Qeshm Island （NE-wells 5 and 6） so these areas show higher gamma on the gamma ray logs and probably have higher source rock potential. Other wells （wells 2-4 and 7） mainly deposited in shallower ramp systems and contain 3 Aptian third-order sequences. On the other hand, rudstone and boundstone lithofacies of studied wells have higher reservoir potential and were deposited during Apt 3 and Apt 4 sequences of the Arabian Plate. The Dariyan Formation in Qeshm Island （well 6） and adjacent well （well 5） was deposited in an intrashelf basin that should be classified as a new intrashelf basin in future Aptian paleogeographic maps. We interpret that salt-related differential subsidence, crustal warping, and reactivation of basement faults of the Arabian Plate boundary were responsible for the creation of the intrashelf basin in the Qeshm area.

采用搅拌过滤法对Aghdareh金矿样品进行金的萃提。矿物学研究表明,样品中58%的金颗粒小于10μm,该等级的3%属于难熔金。实验结果表明,在最优条件下,金回收率可达91.8%,银和汞分别为41.5%和10.2%。以氰化法测试的6种分次尺寸样品的结果表明,未萃取的金粒子大多小于25μm,还有大约5%的金颗粒大于25μm。因此,对样品要进一步粉碎,这样可使金和银回收率分别提高约3.57%和约5%,进一步粉碎样品并不影响汞的回收率。采用knelson重力选矿法可提高汞回收率并防止金和汞的混合,利用氰化法检测重力法的尾料。这些方法的结合应用,最终使金回收率达到93.3%,汞回收率增加到42.16%,而银回收率没有明显的变化,为42.17%。

This paper deals with the design of an observer-based nonlinear control for continuous stirred tank reactors(CSTR).A variable structure observer is constructed to estimate the whole process state *** observer is basically the conventional Luenberger observer with an additional switching term used to guarantee the robustness against modeling *** observer is coupled with a nonlinear controller,designed based on input-output linearization for controlling the reactor *** asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system is shown by the Lyapunov stability ***,computer simulations are developed for showing the performance of the proposed approach.
