Effect of Deposition Potential on Synthesis, Structural,Morphological and Photoconductivity Response of Cu2O Thin Films by Electrodeposition Technique

The present work describes the effect of deposition potentials on structural,morphological,optical,electrical and photoconductivity responses of cuprous oxide(Cu2O)thin films deposited on fluorine-doped tin oxide glass substrate by employing electrodeposition technique.X-ray diffraction patterns reveal that the deposited films have a cubic structure grown along the preferential(111)growth orientation and crystallinity of the film deposited at.0.4 V is improved compared to the films deposited at.0.2,.0.3 and.0.5 *** electron microscopy displays that surface morphology of Cu2O film has a well-defined three-sided pyramid-shaped grains which are uniformly distributed over the surface of the substrates and are significantly changed as a function of deposition *** and photoluminescence spectra manifest that the film deposited at.0.4 V has a good crystal quality with higher acceptor concentration compared to other ***–visible analysis illustrates that the absorption of Cu2O thin film deposited at.0.4 V is notably higher compared to other films and the band gap of Cu2O thin films decreases from 2.1 to 2.04 eV with an increase in deposition potential from.0.2 to.0.5 *** frequency–temperature dependence of impedance analysis shows that the film deposited at.0.4 V has a high conductivity.I– V measurements elucidate that the film deposited at.0.4 V exhibits a good photoconductivity response compared to films deposited in other deposition potentials.

Structural and photoluminescence studies on europium-doped lithium tetraborate(Eu:Li2B4O7)single crystal grown by microtube Czochralski(μT-Cz)technique

Rare earth europium（Eu（3＋））-doped lithium tetraborate（Eu：Li_2B_4O_7） crystal is grown from its stoichiometric melt by microtube Czochralski pulling technique（μT-Cz） for the first time. The grown crystals are subjected to powder x-ray diffraction（PXRD） analysis which reveals the tetragonal crystal structure of the crystals. UV–vis–NIR spectral analysis is carried out to study the optical characteristics of the grown crystals. The crystal is transparent in the entire visible region, and the lower cutoff is observed to be at 304 nm. The existence of BO_3 and BO_4 bonding structure and the molecular associations are analyzed by Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectroscopy. The results of excitation and emission-photoluminescence spectra of europium ion incorporated in lithium tetraborate（LTB） single crystal reveal that the observations of peaks at 258,297, and 318 nm in the excitation spectra and peaks at 579, 591, 597, 613, and 651 nm are observed in the emission *** chromaticity coordinates are calculated from the emission spectra, and the emission intensity of the grown crystal is characterized through a CIE 1931（Commission International d＇Eclairage） color chromaticity diagram.

Effect of Heat Sink and Cooling Mediums on Ferrite Austenite Ratio and Distortion in Laser Welding of Duplex Stainless Steel 2205

In order to control the ferrite and austenite percentage in duplex stainless steel welding, many researchers try to change the laser welding parameters and cooling medium, but ignore to study the influence of heat sink effect on weld strength. In this work, the effect of aluminium heat sink and varying cooling medium on the laser welding of duplex stainless steel (DSS) 2205 is studied. The 2 mm thick DSS sheets welded with pulsed Nd: YAG laser welding machine by varying the cooling medium (air and oil) and an aluminium plate used as a heat sink. The welded specimens tested for tensile strength, micro-hardness, distortion, microstructure and radiography analysis. The faster cooling rate in the oil quenching process enhances the ferrite percentage compared with air-cooled samples. But the faster cooling rate in oil quenching leads to more distortion and using aluminium as a heat sink influenced positively the distortion to a small extent. The lower cooling rate in air quenching leads to a higher tensile strength of the welded specimen. The objective of this work is to analyse experimentally the effect of cooling medium and heat sink in the mechanical and metallurgical properties of laser welded duplex stainless steel.

Regression analysis of squeezing-induced hybrid nanofluid flow in Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(Si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDSolve in MATHEMATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

In this research,an Underwater Biofouling Panel(UWBFP)system was erected for the qualitative and quantitative estimation of macro fouling organisms in the Gulf of ***-four biofoulers were identified from four types of selected test *** these biofoulers,Amphibalanus amphitrite(Darwin,1854)was the dominant *** concrete panel encouraged the highest barnacle density compared to the other *** series of test panels were used to assess the seasonal density of biofouling *** overall variation in barnacle count in the seaward and shoreward sides of all these three series were *** were found to be significantly different from each *** greater variations in the barnacle density observed in this study in A-series of test panels could be due to the lack of or absence of other foulers to compete within the *** Shannon-Wiener species diversity index showed the highest diversity in wood substratum among the three series with greater accumulation of different types of fouling *** analyses were also performed to understand the seasonal variation as well as the settlement pattern on the different directions of test panels based on validated *** showed a strong variability(PC1 between 70.8%and 98.6%variance)between the directions of the panels in connection with barnacle *** shade plot and CAP analysis segregated the short-term A-series test panels from the long-term(B-and C-series)test ***,the output was helpful in understanding the recruitment status of various faunal resources involved in the biofouling processes.

Recently,automatic diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy(DR)from the retinal image is the most significant ressearch topic in the medical *** macular edema(DME)is *** reason for the loss of vision in patients suffering fom *** identification of the DR enables to prevent the vision loss and encourage diabetic control *** techniques *** to diagnose the *** major drawbacks of the existing techniques are low accuracy and high time *** owercome these issues,this paper propases an enhanced particle swarm optimization differential evolution feature selection(PSO DEFS)based feature selection approach with biometric aut hentication for the identification of ***,a hybrid median filter(HMF)is used for pre processing the input ***,the pre-processed images are embedded with each other by using least significant bit(LSB)for authentication ***-multaneously,the image features are extracted using convoluted local tetra pattern(CLTrP)and Tamura *** selection is performed using PSO DEFS and PSO-gravitational search algorithm(PSO GSA)to reduce time *** on some performance metrics,the PSO-DEFS is chosen as a better choice for feature *** feature selection is performed based on the fitness value.A multi-relevance vector machine(M-RVM)is introduced to dlassify the 13 normal and 62 abnormal images among 75 images from 60 ***,the DR patients are further dassified by *** experimental results exhibit that the proposed approach achieves better accuracy,sensitivity,and specificity than the exist ing techniques.

Objective:To examine the ethanol,aqueous,chloroform,benzene,acetone and petroleum ether extracts of Hemigraphis colorata(***) leaves and stem and Elephantopus scaber (***) leaves,root and flower for the presence of phyto-constituents and screened the antibacterial activity against the selected ***:The fresh materials were shade dried and powdered using the tissue *** dried and powered materials(50 g) were extracted successively with 200 mL of aqueous,acetone,benzene,chloroform,*** petroleum ether by using Soxhlet extractor for 8 h at a temperature not exceeding the boiling point of the ***,acetone,benzene,chloroform,*** petroleum ether extracts were prepared from powdered materials were used for preliminary phytnehemical and antimicrobial studies using standard ***:The crude aqueous,acetone,benzene,chloroform, *** petroleum ether extracts *** leaves,flower and root and *** leaves and stem demonstrated that out of(5×6×12 = 360) tests for the presence or absence of the above compounds.188 tests gave positive results and the remaining 172 gave negative results. Effect of garlic peel on growth,hematological parameters and disease resistance against Aeromonas hydrophila in African catfish Clarias gariepinus(Bloch) fingerlings

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of dietary doses of garlic(Allium sativum L.) peel on the hematological and disease resistance of African catfish[Glorias gariepinus(***)] fingerlings against the infections caused by opportunistic bacterial pathogen Aeromonas ***:Powdered garlic peel was incorporated into the diets at(0%,0.5%,1.0% and 1.5%) and fed to catfish fingerlings for 20 *** the feeding trial,biochemical(serum total protein,albumin and globulin),hematological parameters(white blood cells and red blood cells) of the fish were *** were challenged with Aeromona hydrophila(***) after 20 days of post feeding and percentage mortalities were recorded up to 10 days after post ***:Enhanced serum protein,albumin and globulin in fish fed with all the dosages of garlic peel when compared to control *** highest red blood cell and white blood cell counts were recorded in garlic peel incorporated diet fed groups compared to control *** results also demonstrate that low survival rate(55.5±11.0)%in control groups and significantly higher survival rates were recorded in all the garlic peel fed groups after challenging with *** no significant impact was noticed with regard to body weight gain,specific growth rate and food conversion ratio of fish fed with different levels of garlic peel inclusion and control ***:These results indicate that garlic peel enhances the hematological parameters even at a low level(0.5%) incorporation and makes C. gariepinus highly immunopotent and more resistant to infection by ***.

The composition of Zizyphus mauritiana mucilage(ZMM)and several properties related to its nutritional quality were *** ZMM with good water holding capacity(25.21 g/g),swelling capacity(19.34 mL/g),glucose dialysis retardation index and in vitro amylolysis kinetics indicate that it may have the capability in controlling the *** characteristics of ZMM were analyzed using the Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)*** addition,the ZMM has the strong antioxidant potency against ABTS(16,587.32 mmol trolox equiv./g),DPPH(5.27 g mucilage/g DPPH),hydroxyl(76.13%)and superoxide(85.12%)radicals due to the presence of polyphenols(25.54 mg GAE/g mucilage).Besides,the ZMM also inhibited the acetylcholine esterase(86.89%),tyrosinase(47.01%),α-amylase(70.13%)andα-glucosidase(87.14%)*** properties make the crude mucilaginous fraction from *** fruit an excellent candidate of potential nutraceutical and functional food.
